Chapter 7: Expedition (1)

After meeting with the Emperor, I went to the Imperial Garden, where the Birthday Party of Jircniv was being held.

Quickly going there, I was greeted with many heirs of High-class Nobles.

Quickly chatting with them, and saying my congratulations to Jircniv for completing his third year of his birth, I bid every one in Imperial Palace farewell, as I now have too lead a expedition for clearing out all monsters near in the Western Border of the Empire.

So hastily giving my final formal farewell to the Emperor, Empress and Fluder, I got into my carriage.. while soon leaving the Capital City, Arwintar.

Soon after fifteen days of my journey, I finally could see Auguste Territory Border.

Quickly giving the identification to the Soldiers, I quickly reached Jokamachi, the Capital City Of Auguste Land.

(A/N: The term Jokamachi ( Castle town ) refers to a type of urban structures in Japan in which the city surrounds a feudal lord's castle. )

And just like the name suggested, in the center of the City was the Auguste Castle.

It was a Tall Castle, Though not comparable to the Imperial Palace, The Auguste Castle was still comparable with to a Castle owned by Earl's.

Soon, The carriage stopped, while without waiting for my escort to open the door, I myself opened the door, and jumping of the carriage, I began walking toward the Castle.

As, the Castle Guards quickly gave an military salute to me, as soon as they saw my 10 year old figure.

"Greeting, Young Lord!! Open the Door for Young Lord!" shouted the Soldier, while I could see the 9 m big Castle door opening, as I soon began to walk inside the Castle.

Walking inside the Corridor of the Castle, I went toward the Lord's Room.. Which basically was my Father Throne room you could say?

As, I reached the Lord's Door, I gave a knock.

*Thud! Thud!

"Who is it?" an irritated voice came from inside, which was probably of my Father.

"It is me Father, After reading your letter, I have arrived as hastily as I could."

"Oh!, Son it is you?! Quickly come in then." said my Father, while I opened the door, where I could see My Father sitting on the Lord seat, as there were three more figure with him, it seems like I have arrived while they were having meeting.

"Oh? I didn't knew you were having a meeting.. I guess I came in a wrong time?" I said, scratching my head.

"Oh no no, Your timing could only be said to be perfect at this time... Let me introduce them to you."

He said, while looking at the three figure he was having meeting with.

"This man over there is Henry, the Leader of the adventure group called <Five-Tailed Wolf> a Platinum-ranked Adventurer group."

"Hello, Young Lord!!... Pleased to meet ya! Let's get along Haha!." the guy named Henry greeted, with alittle Barbaric way, as even my Father made alittle displeased face.

And now looking, this man named Henry, seemed to be at age of 40's.. while his height was like 7 f.t, he had a Muscular body, while his long messy beard and bald head gave him a vibe of an Barbarian.

But seeing a Battle Axe at his Back, I could already guess he was a Warrior.

"And, This man over here is Dave, the leader of the adventure group called <Raven Eyes> a Platinum-ranked Adventurer group too."

"My humble greetings Young Lord." said Dave in a calm voice.

'Hmm..' I replied his greetings with a nervous smile, as he was a man looking in his thirties, while his face was clean shaved, his body wasn't alittle bit of muscular but pretty thin, making my mind to raise doubts about him being an Adventure.

Still, noticing hidden weapons all over his body, I probably knew he was an assassin.

"And this last Lady over here is Katherine, the leader of the adventurer group called <Bloody Rose> a Mithril-ranked Adventurer Group."

"Hello Young Lord~ Nice to meet ya! Hope we get along well~" She said with alittle flirty tone, while winking at me, as I made an flustered face, which my Father coughed it away.

While, even if I wasn't flustered, Looking at her, She was an smoky Hot women.

Her figure could be comparable to a Super-models from my world.

She had a beautiful bloody Crimson hair, I could already see where the name <Bloody Rose> was coming from, she was as beautiful as a Rose, while her Hair as Beautiful as Blood.

Her sharp eyes, making people heart beat quicker, her perfect waist.. and those huge Bomb she was hanging on her Chest.

'It is definitely a E-cup!"

As, I was looking all the a.l.l three Leaders infront of me. when, my Father spoke.

"Son, These three's Group will be going on the expedition with you for clearing the Border of West." he said, while I made alittle shocked face outwardly.

Inwardly, I already knew they were going to help me on the expedition, But I was still alittle shocked, thinking two Platinum and one Mithril Rank Adventurer Group will help me out.

The common rank of Adventures were: Copper - Iron - Silver - Gold - Platinum - Mithril - Orichalcum - Adamantite.

Copper being the Lowest Rank, While Adamantine being the Highest Rank, one Adventurer could get.

And a Platinum Ranker being only fourth rank on Adventurer Guild, It was still alittle rare too see them, while Mithril were very rare to find or hire.

I was happy with this result, Two Platinum and One Mithril being with me on this Expedition will make my original Task alot easier.

"My greeting's Sir Henry, Sir Dave and Lady Katherine... I hope you will take care of me on this Expedition." I said to them, as It was natural to return the greeting.

"Sure Young Lord!! Leave every thing to me, Ya got my Axe with ya!!"

"It is my and my team duty to support the costumer."

"Sure Young Lad*cough*—Lord~ I will take special care of you~" she said coughing.

"Sure, Then you Adventurers can take a rest at the Mansion below the Castle.. I want to have a chat with my Son for now." Alex, My Father said... While three Leader's nodded leaving the room, while My Father signed me to take sit.

Taking a sit, I looked at my Father attentively.

"What is it Father now that you want to talk about?"

"What do you think of them?" he raised a question, while I said with alittle impressed face.

"They are awesome, I didn't think I could get to work with a Mithril-ranked Adventurers!" I said, completely ignoring those two other Platinum Adventurer Group.

As even if they were rare, They weren't as rare as a Mithril-ranked Adventurers.

"It is good you think this way, But don't get to close with them.. No matter how much fame they have, It the end they are just dirty Commoners." He said with a clear disdainful face, While I gave him alittle confuse yet understanding gaze.

Though I know where he was coming at.

"It is good you understand, Now why don't you tell me what you did on Imperial Palace." he asked me with interest, while I like the Little Kid I am, told him with a joyous mood.

As, the Son and Dad pair were talking inside the Castle.

Inside at the Guest Room of the Auguste Mansion... All Three Leader were having alittle chat about Alard

"That Noble Lad, what did you think about him Dave?"

"It is just as rumors said, That kid is has more to him, then just having a pretty face... I could tell, When we introduced, His gaze it was as if he could see through everything within us."

"He could even find out about my hidden weapons." said Dave with his calm composer, while Katherine also nodded to him.

When she introduced herself, she felt an uncomfortable gaze targeting her.

Though letting it slide for now, Katherine and Dave began to observe the map of the Western Border, and discussing strategies with what knowledge they have on the monster of there.

When, Henry chugging down a whole bottle of beer.

"Ahhh! Damn This Nobles do really have top-quality Beer's."

"Hey you damn Drunkard, Why don't you shut up!! and just drink, We are discussing strategy here!." said Katherine, while looking at Henry with furious eyes, as if he was nothing more then a eyesore.

"Calm ya ball and chill Katherine, We just have to clear some group of B Class Monsters, What is there to worry about? Just kill those bugs and get the Payment."

"Cheh! This is why I hate Warriors, They are just Brute and No Brain... If it was so Simple, Why could they hire us? Won't a single Platinum Group be able to clear the Border?."Katherine clicked her tongue in annoyance, while Dave ignored there bickering, as he was just watching the map.

Soon, the next day arrived.... all five members of <Five-Tailed Wolf>, Six members of <Raven Eyes>, Seven members of <Bloody Rose> were presented near the Gate of Jokamacki.

All equipped with there gear's, as they were all waiting for Alard.

"Where is that Noble Brat? Isn't he here yet?" said Boris, Vice-Leader of <Five-Tailed Wolf>.

"Shh! Dumbass, Are you idiot? Insulting a Noble in his own Home terrain?.. Do you want to get a executed or what?" this time it was Azar, Vice-Leader of <Raven Eyes.

While little far from them, a Lady with her both eye covered with bandages looked at there direction.

And that blindfolded Lady was non-other then Elza, Vice-Leader of <Bloody Rose>.. also a Priestess of Fire God Temple.

While the Vice-Leader's of each Group were trying to get along with each others.

The Leaders, were all managing there Group , supplies and other stuffs.

As, They could suddenly see a upto Hunderd Soldiers marching there way, while in there lead, was Alard riding a horse.

Seeing a 100 men strong fully-amoured Soldiers, made the Adventures alittle nervous, though they quickly calmed down... while The one in Lead, Alard commanded.

"Let the Expedition Begin!"
