5 Chapter 5: Dining Chat & Notice

Soon, returning to my home after killing my Second Brother, David and his hired mercenaries.

I quickly headed toward my room, and pretended to sleep.. as It was late night, so my maid will soon be coming to notify me for dinner.

And, as expected... soon I heard a knock in the door, as her familiar voice echoed my room.

"Sure, I am coming." I quickly replied, while slowly getting up from my bed, as I quickly opened my door.

Then exchanging some words, we headed toward the dining room.

Quickly arriving at the scene, I saw my Father, Viscount Alex von Auguste.. with an grim expression.

While today, there was a new member seating with us in the dinner.

And it was none other then, the Second concubine.... Rina Pepper, daughter of thr Viscount Pepper Household.

And more importantly, Mother of my Half-brother David, whom I just awhile ago killed.

Feeling the intense environment in the room, I made a little confused face.

While, My father who noticed it.. quickly tried to loosen it.

"You are here My Son, Quick take a sit." he said with an sudden bright smile, completely opposite to the intense mood he just had before.

While, Rina who just saw this couldn't help but grit her teeth with anger.

"Lord! Why are you acting like this!! When you just saw your 2nd son headless body in alley!!"

"How would your!! no... our child not matter to you so much that, you could even smile in the day of his death!" hearing which, I made an shocked face while I looked at Alex, my father in confusion.

"Wh-What? My bro-brother is dead?.. How, How can that happen?.. He was fine just this morning, how can this be?." I said, with a face full of surprise and sorrow.

How could my dear brother die?

As I couldn't help but let tear overflow my eyes.

As, while I was sweeping my teary eye with my trembling hand, Rina who heard this suddenly screamed at me.

"Huh! Isn't it because of you!! You took away my son's Love of his life!!.. Because of your continuous prank to him."

"It was because you were tormenting him, he had to leave house to seek peace... and got assassinated!"

But still being a professional actor, I made even more sorrowful and guilty face.

As, Empire doesn't stop Noble from waging war against each other, as long as it doesn't have any negative effect toward the Empire.

And A Count declaring war against a low-ranking Viscount, is completely acceptable.

As, even if a Viscount, is ranked only one step down to Count in hierarchy, There is huge gap between them in both Political or Military power.

There is a reason why Viscount is called Low-ranking noble while Count is called Middle-ranking.

"You two, stop this conversation and head towards your room!" ordered Father, while both my Mother and Rina quickly stopped there conversation.

While My Mom one last time glared at my Rina, while whispering in Father's ear, which I could hear clearly because of my good hearing sense.

"Today, you are sleeping on the floor, with only rag on."

Where, I could see my Father sweating. As, both the ladies of House left the dining.

After that baseless decision of yesterday, Currently.. I am Training my Sword with Drake, My mentor.

"Hah!!" I screamed, as I swinged my Wooden Sword toward Drake.

While Drake also used his Wooden Sword to counter my attacks.

Quickly, after few minutes.... Out sparring came to end.

As, I was on the ground with few bruises on my wrist and clothes.

While Drake was standing straight, while looking at me with a worshipping expression.

"Hahaha, Young Lord is a genius!! I can't believe in just a single day you improved so much!.. Our House is blessed!"

"Sure sure, Now I will be going, then." I said, while ignoring his compliment, As I will be strong in the future.

Not now, So I don't have time to chitchat about those future, that can never be predicted.

"Sure, Have. wonderful Day Young lord, and I am sorry about your Second Brother." Drake said to me in an concerned tone, while I just gave him a slight nod before leaving the training ground.

And, So like This I began to train my Sword with Drake and Magic with Fluder, everyday.

And slowly slowly time began to pass away.

And today I now am currently ten year old, with an robust body, height of 5,1 f't insanely tall for my age.

While, My Blonde hair were getting more beautiful day by day, and for some reason.

While, I am currently in Hall room.

"Isn't It a beautiful day... Alard." a beautiful young lady spoke up, she was sitting right infront of me... while she gazed outside the window.

The lady infront of me was twelve year old, her skin were fairly white, green eyes and long blond hair and a beauty mark beneath her lower lip on the left side.

She was beautiful is everything i could say, and as for her identity.

She was my fiance, Leinas Rockbruise.... I first met her when I was seven.

And trust me it was not a nice first meeting.

I beat her until her father had to stop the fight.

After that day, Everytime she came to my house.. she always trembled looking at me.

And now here we are, harmoniously having our sweet couple tea time.

"Yeah, It is a beautiful day, But not as Beautiful as my Leinas." her cheeks redden hearing my compliments, while she hastily sipped her tea.

"Hey you don't need to hide you love for me... I know you love me~" I said with a little flirt.

"Hu.. Huh! Who loves you!! You are just a brute that only know to swing sword!" she exclaimed, quickly getting up from her seat with a little flustered face.

"Oh, Is it so~" I said, while I slowly began to walk toward her.

Quickly cornering her near the wall, while I softly with my finger lifted her hair.

"You are beautiful my Leina, Even if I am a brute, I will always be a lotus for you." and so, I dangerously brought my face near her.

I am feel her rough breathing on my lip, while I brought my lip near her.

And, as I attempted to kiss her... Like all those cliche shit, Somebody knocked the door.

"Young Lord, Lord calls for you and Lady Leina."

"Say him, I will be arriving short."

"Your wish, Young Lord."

And, I could hear her going away.

As, I saw a completely fluttered Leina, who was placing her soft hand on my chest.

"I-I guess we need to go." she said, While I just sighed.

Coming in the Office, I saw Alex my Father seating on his chair, while carrying his usual smiley face.

"Oh my Son, I am sorry for taking your precious time, But I have an urgent thing to tell you."

"Just say it." I said while glaring at the a notice in his hand, as Leina who was behind me also looked at it curiously.

"As you can see, This is the notice of the official declaration of War between our Empire and The Kingdom... We now have about 4-5 month to prepare for the war."

"And, We being the Broader side between the Empire and Kingdom, The Emperor has ordered us to quickly station our troops to the Broader, and send some adventures with our troops to clear the monster near the area."

He said while giving me the notice, as I quickly scrolled it.

So, the Seasonal War between Empire and Kingdom is now starting.

I guess now I can finally get some real Battle experience!

"So? What do you want me to do for you Father?" I asked him, while he threw me a commanding medal.

"This is the commander medal for one of our Elite Group, Go take that Group with few of the workers group and clear all the monster near the border."

"Oh, Are you sure I can go?" I asked in surprise, As I didn't knew he could send me to the battlefield so soon.

"Yeah, You need to quickly get adapt to the scene of deaths, as The Real War is going to be covered with deaths." he said, while I nodded my head head in understanding.

"Then If it is all, I will be leaving." I said, while turning away to leave.

"Wait, But before that there is one more thing."

"Now what is it?" I asked annoyingly.

"Before you go to the mission, You have been invited by Emperor to go for the birthday of Prince Jircniv, Who will be in this three this year."

Jircniv? Oh!! How could I forget about him... The Bloody Emperor of the future, He is one of the major character in the development of the Empire, I guess he is already conceived.

"Sure, I will head there." I told, surprising Father out of nowhere.

"What is it?"

"Y-You, Did.. Did you just willing got ready to go to an party?"

"Of course! Do you want me to offend Emperor, By not accepting his sons birthday party."

"Oh n-no, I-It's just you accepted a party invitation."

"Just shut up, I am going if you have nothing to tell." I spoke, while getting out of the room quickly.
