"I've decided." 

Luis raised his head, pausing from eating his breakfast. He quirked a brow, eyes on me, waiting for me to continue my sentence. We had been eating in silence while deep in our thoughts. Or rather, it was just me because Luis was eating as if we didn't have a problem. 

He was stress eating, perhaps. 

"I'll be going back to the Capital," I announced with conviction. "Staying in Esmond will not answer the questions in my head. Only when I'm in the Ross estate I can get some answers."

"Ahh..."

"Lu, I will lose my mind; literally lose my mind at this rate." 

"So you'll go back to the capital? You?" he arched a brow, stressing his words for me to understand his concern.

I cleared my throat and corrected. "We."

"Then we'll return to the Capital." He rocked his head lightly, fluttering his eyes ever so slowly. "We're a team, my wife. I dislike it when you make a decision without me in mind."
