50 Flirting

I thought I had multiple peaceful nights in the Ross estate. I was wrong. Compare to the sleep I had last night, those nights were nothing but another exhausting sleep. When I woke up this morning, although the maids' faces were unfamiliar, they treated me well. 

Surprisingly, they had prepared a few dresses for me to choose from. They said Luis had prepared those for me yesterday while I was asleep. All the dresses were beautiful, but what made them all special was he handpicked those as if he already knew my taste and what suits me. 

"Did you like them?" he asked, snapping me back to the current lapse. I paused in slicing the bread and lifted my head, setting my eyes on the host seat at the end of the table. I was on his right, so I was close to him. 

"More than I thought I would." The side of my lips stretched into a smile. "They're not the usual dresses I wore, but they strangely suit me."
