"What did you just say?" Shera's voice fell. She was yet to start looking for Ash, but someone else was missing already? What insane twist of fate was this? 

Leo regained his logic from the tragic shock and carefully looked at the crying Alexa. "How did this happen…when?" 

Alexa paced the room as she ran a hand through her dark hair, wishing she could simply pull it off her head. 

"On Saturday night, we talked about something, and it morphed into an argument, so he left. I thought he was simply leaving because he wanted to be alone for some time. So I waited for him to cool off, but… I tried calling him since yesterday morning and his phone has been off throughout."
