Villainess 101: The President's wife is a vengeful devil

"Handsome, we must have met before. Was it in my bed... or was it in yours?" Shera Black asked, sitting on a snake-print sofa. She had her chin rested in her right hand as her left hand twirled a wineglass leisurely. Leo Qin who was standing before her narrowed his gaze. "Are all women so unrestrained these days?" "I don't know about other women." The woman's lips curled into a sinister smirk. "But, you may want to step aside. You are standing on a booby trap." Leo Qin was speechless. This woman stole his heart, and now she set a trap for him? Preposterous! ___ ... Falling from the grace of an aristocratic family, Shera Black's view of the world crumbled along with her state of mind. How does it feel to lose everything overnight? Heiress-turned-beggar? Unimaginable! The world was cruel... but it was much more cruel to her. Why?! Just because of some measly facts that were beyond her control and sins she didn't commit? And just when everyone thought she was done for... when they all thought she was on the brink of insanity or suicide, Shera Black unexpectedly rose right back up. Shera Black: Hello world, I'm back! Miss me already? World: Wait. Something's not right. She has become a villainess?! And this villainess was clearly not here to make friends. She was back to wreck harvoc and destroy the world! Not only that,.... She was pretty much done wrecking harvoc. Guess what's next? ... As the heir to the Qin Empire, everything was under his grasp. Yet Leo Qin would never have thought that the only thing he didn't predict was the calamity he had poked... and this calamity was coming his way. Looking at the female 'calamity' before him, he gritted his teeth and hissed. "Woman, you are playing with fire!" The calamity crossed her legs and glanced right back at him. "I am fire. How can I play with myself, Mr. Qin?" He looked at her crossed legs and frowned in disapproval. "Women shouldn't cross their legs." The woman leisurely tapped the armrest. "Oh? Are our legs too short to be crossed?" "It's disrespectful!" "Respect?" She looked at him curiously. "What's that?" Annoyed now, Leo Qin said, "If you continue being like this, no one will want to marry you!" But the woman just smiled evilly. "Who said I want to get married? Pfft, seriously, who still does that?" Leo Qin was speechless. God, can we have a chat? I don't want this woman anymore!!! Brace yourselves: Vicious Female lead. Betrayed

Leo did the 'walk of shame' to his car. After all, Shera had done a lot of 'justice' to his shirt in what he had thought was her impatience.

Thinking about it, he felt like a fool. Luckily he had a habit of having a spare set of clothes in his car in case some accident happened to what he was wearing and he had to change.

He swiftly changed his shirt and drove back to Jade Mansion.

Once in his room, he made a beeline for the shower, intending to wash off that woman's scent. But as the warm water caressed his skin, his brain decided to defy him and went ahead to think about that moment about an hour ago. The image of her body covered in only underwear stuck into his mind. Her body was so seductive it could drive a man crazy with desire...

He couldn't help thinking about what would have happened if she had not brought up the shares.

Leo couldn't hold it in anymore. With a grunt, his hand reached down to his junk as he let it all out.

-------

After a nice shower and supper, Leo sat down to analyse the project.

All had been going well for the past few months. The previous day, however, several laborers made different excuses to quit the job. He knew instantly that someone was behind it.

It was still alright for a few of them to leave; since it could only push the date of completion further by a few days.

They were already ahead of the planned schedule, so it wouldn't really have much effect.

However, many more laborers quit within the last six hours.

It was obvious that whoever was making them quit had planned it out perfectly and was quite generous when greasing their hands.

He was determined to make the project delay or, in the worst case, fail altogether.

At this rate, the other laborers would be discouraged and wouldn't have as much drive to work as they did -- no one would be happy to work on a failing project.

Leo rolled his pen. Indeed, the Qins were selfish.

He had known this for ages but it always got rubbed in his face every time they disregarded him.

He knew his father was up to this; and the old man knew just how much effort he had put into this project and how much profit it would earn in future. But just to prove some lame point to his enemy, he would kill his son along with the enemy.

It wasn't like he had ever expected Julius Qin to be a good father to him... but it was still disappointing. On the bright side, it taught Leo a lesson. He would be a much better father if the heavens ever granted him that chance.

.....

Now that his emotions were calm, he thought about Shera again.

He had been too rude tonight...

He made a decision before going to sleep.

:|: Please don't ask me what he dreamt about. It might ruin your fantasy of him. :|:

...

The next evening.

Right after finishing his last meeting for the day, Leo made his way to The Mansion of Black.

Yet again, Purple scrutinized him like he was the enemy before cautiously asking for henchmen to guard him as she went to report his arrival to her master.

He was a peaceful man in nature and didn't want to start unnecessary conflicts. If not for this reason, he would have gorged her eyes out and chopped her legs off already.

"What have we here?" Shera smirked as she made her way down the stairs.

"Well, hello to you too." Leo couldn't believe he was seriously talking to such a person.

"If you could tell your subordinates to treat me with a little more respect, I would appreciate it."

"But they're having fun." she laughed but still told them to let him in directly the next time he came again.

Shera led him to her cellar, let him choose the wine he wanted to drink and chose one for herself too.

This time, she kept some distance between them and glanced at him with curiosity. "What happened to sending a subordinate because you don't want to ever see me again?"

Leo poured himself a glass of wine and drank a sip. He was about to do something he rarely ever did.

Looking right at her, he said, "Shera, I was rude last night. I'm sorry."

Seeing that she didn't speak, he explained his side of it. "When you kissed me, I thought... I thought you were expressing that you like me... or even love me. Then it suddenly turned out to be your way of gaining what you wanted. I felt betrayed."

One more chapter for my lovely readers.
