The rogue cultivator made sure Li Chen couldn't hear his footsteps; it wasn't a matter of sleep or not.

Should Li Chen wake up, the situation might be dire. Just a look at Li Chen's attire and the number of ceramic wine jars made him think Li Chen had to be wealthy and possibly stronger than him.

Tiptoeing over the jars, a blue glow caught his eyes, causing him to halt. He saw the pearl glowing in a wine jar with a little wine close to Li Chen.

'Such pure star energy! It's definitely a heaven grade treasure and not a low-star one at that,' whispering even inwardly. He stared fixedly at Li Chen, stretched his arm to its limit, and grabbed the pearl.

Unbeknownst to the rogue cultivator, Li Chen's fingers moved about to grab the man, only to pause! His lips curled up, and he turned the other way, continuing his sleep.

As long as the thief was heading toward Sovereign, there was no need to disturb himself. It was better to continue his nap.
