Under the intensity of the sun, people could be seen walking up and down a broad staircase built with polished stones.

"What a load of rubbish! What makes you think that old man won't die and his daughter will be snatched by one of those arrogant noble scions?" A woman who wore leather armor, which had gone through a lot, shone from the scratches littered about.

"How dare you speak ill against the city lord? He has been protecting our city for centuries." 

"Save your righteousness for another brainwashed fool." The woman snickered and walked down grumpily.
