Dungeon

Pov. Derret

Derret shook his head when he realized he had remembered the past again.

For him, it was a special memory. It was a memory of the day he lost the light of his life. He lost his meaning in this world. But he appeared out of nowhere and gave me a place to which he could belong. For Derret, Duke was the first person who saved him.

Derret stood up from the ground and noticed that Orion wasn't in front of him anymore. He panicked a little because he didn't sense Orion disappear.

"Young.." He wanted to scream, but then he noticed that Orion was l just leaning against a tree.

Derret fixed his gaze on Orion, who was leaning against a tree, his eyes closed. He appeared to be pondering about something.

Derret flashed a tender smile when he saw the young boyr dozing off.

'If Duke was the first to save me 15 years ago, you are the second young master,.....even if you aren't aware of it.'

Orion glanced at Derret when he opened his eyes.

"Oya, it seems that you have finally woken up. We were talking about something when you, out of nowhere, closed your eyes and didn't respond to anything... That was a little bit weird. "said Orion teasingly with grin on his face

Because of his master's teasing, Derrets' face flushed a tiny bit.

"Cough..I juuust remembered something about the past...Anyway...what are we going to do from now on, young master?"Derret faked cought and tried to change theme

Orion gently smiled. He outstretched his hand and pointed at the sign of sword engraved on the three Orion was leaning on.

"This time, Derret, it's just me, not "we." said orion

When the Derret saw a sign carved in the tree. A million thoughts ran through his mind.

'Undiscovered dungeon? How is that possible? Despite being so close to the city, no one found it... And since when did the young master notice it?

Despite the fact that he had a million things running through his mind, he knew one thing for certain.

'I fucked up'

A dungeon normally emits an unique energy that people refer to as [Divine Energy]. Humans call it [Divine Energy] because they think gods created dungeons as tests and ways for humans to grow stronger and overcome their limits.

When a someone has reached the level of swordmaster, he is able to sense this energy if he concentrates enough. The Derret, on the other hand, was stunned from one event to the another. First, Orion had made a request. Then there were the flashbacks from the past.

As a result of the trauma, Derret experienced headaches from time to time, and unpleasant recollections of the battlefield or his past began to appear before his eyes.

Normally, it would be fine even if they found a dungeon. Since the dungeon is not activated, there is no danger until someone directly activates it. But Derret knew one thing that made this situation such a problem.

Derret believed that Orion is too kind to endanger another person for his selfishness. Because of that, he was certain that Orion would try to enter the dungeon alone.

'Young master will enter without me'

Derret tried to get closer to Orion and the dungeon entrance, but Orion stopped him.

"Derret, stop, this is order," Orion said, his voice slightly higher than usual.

Derret stopped. He got literally goosebumbs from Orion's voice. Despite the fact that he was well aware that the situation was too dangerous to obey his orders, his body refused to move. As if Orion's words resonated with his very existence and he had no other choice but to listen to this person.

He is someone at the level of a swordmaster. There are less than 200 hundred people like him in the whole continent. He would know if Orion used magic or some kind of artifact. But he didn't feel any mana from his voice or around him.

He is someone at the level of a swordmaster.Even if he is not the strongest, there are not many people who could fight with him or affect him with magic that control people, and there is no way that a 15-year-old boy like Orion could do something like that. There are fewer than 200 people like him in the whole continent. He would know if Orion used magic or some kind of artifact. But he didn't feel any mana from his voice or around him.

That's when the derret remembered the scene he'd seen a moment ago.

'Is it possible that it is the will of gods?!!'

'There is no other explanation! The sun before, and if I consider how our pure and kind young master is... there is no way the gods could ignore such an angel'

'I knew from that day 10 years ago that our young master was special, but to think that even the gods would be charmed by him...!'

While Derret was thinking about bullshit with the expression of a person who discovered the truth of the universe, Orion was shocked because he didn't expect that Derret would listen to his order.

'Does that overlyhandsome motherfucker want me to die in a dungeon?'

'Fuck it..not like it matters, I should use this chance while I can.'

Orion focused his mana on his ring that started to shine and something appeared in his hand. It was a white, envelope with Orions' signature on it.

He wrapped his hand in mana and threw it in front of Derret.

"You should know what to do with this."

"So while I'm in..pray to the gods so that I won't die."

"My knight.." said Orion with a nonchalant expression.

As he turned his back on the Derret and touched the symbol he slowly muttered in low voice

"Gate of Sariel...let me challenge the trials gods prepared for me"

The ground began to tremble as soon as he spoke.

The earth began to make noises that sounded like the cries of a suffering live being...trees began to shake from tremors on the ground, and spider web like cracks formed around the place where Orion stood

The creatures' cries reverberated across the jungle.

But Orion maintained his nonchalant demeanor, standing in front of the tree as if he had nothing to do with this mess.

He even began humming the Gray Clover anime's opening .

Then, out of nowhere, a tree began to transform into a huge old stone building with various ancient letters engraved on it and a huge stone door.

immediately after transormation was finished. A huge stone door opened and revealed black space. This was the first time Orion showed some reaction, and he took a small step back and took his hand from the stone door, but something sucked him into the infinity darkness which reminds him of the place he fears most.

"Fuck, this is different from the gaaamee..." Orion screamed as he was pulled into darkness.

*Unknow place*

3 beings sat on pure white chairs that looked more like thrones in a place where everything was white..

There was only infinite white space, no sun or sky... the only things that were here were 11 thrones and those 3 beigns, watching a holographic video of a young boy who looked like he was on the verge of dying, being sucked into a large stone gate with some unknown force.

-He is really here..

The tallest of the three beigns spoke up.

-Hahaha, will there be any love for such a pitiful mortal?

The shortest and youngest looking one spoke up right after with a mocking tone.

-Be quiet and watch.. this is the day we were waiting for so many years, so be quiet for at least five fucking minutes.

The one who looked to be the most wise and gentle spoke, silencing the other two.

Nod

Nod

Out of fear, the other two began to nod right away.

-Prove to me that you are really worthy to be the one that will be able to destroy this cursed story, like Prohercy said.
