Dungeon 4

*Unknown Place*

The eldest being looked at the screen showing a young boy who was still asleep.

It's been more than 32 hours since Orion passed the 1st trial. But he still hasn't woken up.

"Looks like the strain on his psyche was bigger than we thought ... even though he looked fine during the exam." eldes sister said solemnly, her gaze fixed on the screen depicting orion's sleeping face.

"Sister, what did you expect from a mere human? He passed the first trial just to end like this?" said Cerys with a mocking tone "Really hilarious. I hope he won't wake up ever again.."

Cerys looked at Orion as if he were her nemesis. The other two beigns were aware of Cerys' animosity for humanity, but they were taken aback by her attitude towards Orion, as it was obvious that she did not merely detest him just because he was a human.

"Shortie," aren't you too harsh on him? I thought you would be happy since he is your only way out of this prison. " said the tallest one with a smirk on his face.

Cerys didn't respond to him because she knew he was right. She should be happy because there will probably be, thanks to him, a chance for them to leave this place in the near future.

But every time she looked at him, she had strange feelings boiling inside her. It was as if that boy was the opposite of her own existence.

'But it is impossible. I am the embodiment of love, which implies that the opposite of my existence are a evil gods, whose source of power is hatred or death. But aside from unpleasant feelings, none of the evil gods I've encountered have made me feel this way. And it is obvious that he is still mortal—a weird one, that's for sure, 'Cerys thought.

"Cerys summons Uriel." She should be done with her investigation. " Cerys's elder sister woke her up from her thoughts.

'Uriel, come back if you are done with the investigation of that human ' Cerys sent a mental transmission to her subordinate, Angel Uriel, who had been tasked with investigating Orion.

After a few seconds, a golden magic circle appeared before Cerys. From the magic circle slowly emerged a woman with two pairs of white wings with black tips at the ends.

Uriel was a 180 cm tall woman with lime-colored hair cut into an uneven bob, and golden eyes. She wore white peoplos, which is classic Greek clothing, with a golden belt around her waist and white thigh-high stockings.

She also had different accessories, such as earrings with lime-colored gems and rings with gems of the same color.

She was very gifted in chest are unlike her master. With F-cup while Cerys barely having B-cup.

Even though Uriel had a serious expression on her face. She looked overall like a very gentle woman.

Cerys looked at the movements of the giants when Uriel knelt in front of Cerys with a look of envy and hatred.

Boing!

"I greet the great gods Cerys-sama, Dalia-sama, and Duncan-sama."

Uriel greeted the three gods in front of her with her head down. She started with her master, Cerys, and continued with the eldest one, Dalia, and the youngest, Duncan.

The three gods sat on their thrones and looked at Uriel, who knelt in front of them.

"Uriel, tell me what you found out about the human who challenged our dungeon." The first to speak was Dalia, the eldes one.

Uriel looked at her master, who nodded. Even though Dalia is the one with the highest authority among the remaining 3 gods, Uriel is subordinate to Cerys, and in her presence she must value her orders over anything else.

"With your permission, the name of that human is Orion von Astrape. He is part of the Astrape family, which has good influence in the human world, and as you probably know, due to his hair color, he is a descendant of the Doom Bringer. " Uriel spoke with a serious tone and waited for their reactions.

"Feye huh?..."spoke Dalia with voice filled with nostalgia

"That bird chose a human as her mate?" "Disgusting" said Cerys without hiding her disgust.

Cerys respected the Doom Bringer in the past as someone close to her equal since she was a mythical creature. Cerys thought about Feye as a friend, even though she was a bit childish and clumsy. But the idea of a mythical creature choosing a human as a mate disgusted her since she was the God of love.

"Hahaha, so that means the bird is still alive despite all the injuries she sustained in that war..." I hope her descendant won't disappoint me." Duncan spoke with a voice filled with excitement, already imagining a battle against Orion.

"You can contiue Uriel.." spoke Dalia ignoring other two

"Although they are the descendants of a mythical being, they have lost most of their benefits after years of mixing with normal people, and all they have left is their bloodline magic. They arrogantly call it [God Slaying Magic]. However, its only ability is to manifest various supernatural abilities. There were some people in the history of their clan that were born with unique abilities such as [Eyes of Truth] or even [Telekinesis]. "

The Gods didn't react to the fact that humans named their bloodline magic [God Slaying Magic]. It was something that had come from their arrogance, and it had happened many times in the past. For them, humans were like insects. Why should higher beings be concerned with every minor act of an insect?

Of course, there were some exceptions. They respected people like [Legends], who were humans who overcame their limitations, and reached a level of strength that could rival even mythical beings, and there were even some rare cases where humans killed gods.

Because of their strength, they were respected and legends from whole multiverse were sent into special place after their deaths.

' Could it be that he is like them? [Legend]. In the whole history of our universe, not even once has a human reached a level that was close to legend. It would be ridiculous if he had the potential to be one. If that was the case, our plan would fail. We can't give so much power to a human who already has the potential of a [Legend]. Orion, who do you really are? 'Cerys thought

She shivered at the mere thought of [Legend] gaining that type of power. But then she recalled a frail looking boy who looked like he is on the verge of passing away the whole time and dismissed that idea.

"Orion is the only son of the Astrape family's leader. He is 15 years old. He was born with an unknown disease that has tormented him for the past 15 years. He was always locked in the mansion and never went out until recently. Change triggered his mana and bloodline magic awakening. For some unknown reason, he traveled to city that was built near this dungeon, and discovered it by accident. " continued Uriel

"Uriel, do you know what type of disease it is?" asked Dalia.

She knew something was not right with the boy's body when she first saw him.

"From what I saw Delia-sama, it seems to be some kind of curse " Uriel said with a respectful tone.

"Why would someone curse an innocent child?" asked Duncan with an angry voice.

Even though he was not smart and was an incredible battle freak, Dunkan liked children.

Of course, not in a weird way. He was simply overprotective of them and there were cases when he saved multiple of them during his travels in the world and even raised and trained them to be good warriors.

from what he saw during the first trial. Orion was someone with incredible will. With a will strong enough that even Dunca had a hard time believing Orion was just a human and, on top of that, only 15 years old, which was rudiclous! He believe that Orion have incredible potential..even though he looked a bit crazy.

"Orion was suposedly born with a ridiculous amount of mana." "There is a big possibility that it was an act driven from envy or from fear of what the boy would become in the future."

Dukan's eyes flashed with golden light and he slammed his fist into the throne on which he was sitting, broking part where his fist landed into dust..

"To ruin the future of such a child with such great potential!!!Unforgivable, no! This is beyond unforgivable!!" Duncan was boiling with rage after he heard the reason for ruining the future of an innocent child and the act of putting him in a world of constant pain just because of the greed and selfishness of humans.

He was someone who lived long enough to understand what type of curse was put on Orion to subdue someone with a large amount of mana for such a long time..

A curse like that would put the victim in a world of constant pain strong enough to make them commit suicide. If the curse was strong enough, there was the possibility of it following the victim even to the afterlife..

Uriel tried to remain calm, even though her hands were shaking from the mixture of killing intent and aura that was leaking from Duncan's body.

Delia also didn't have a good expression on her face and gripped the arm of her throne tightly enough to cause a crack on it. She didn't know why, but when she learned why Orion was in that condition, she felt a surge of rage inside her heart.
