Deal with gods

Orion wasn't panicked or shocked by the fact that reincarnation into a low-class angel wouldn't help him with his curse. He was just calmly looking into Dalia's beautiful eyes, waiting for an explanation.

Dalia is a beautiful woman who is around 175 cm tall. She has round dark blue eyes and long white hair that is topped with dark blue hair tips worn loose, with a small portion braided over the shoulder that is also blue at the tip. She also has a hair pin in the shape of a crescent moon on the left side of her head.

She is wearing a snow white Japanese kimono with a pattern of small blue cresent moons on her long sleeves. Her massive D-cup breasts were exposed at the neckline.

There are no words enough to fully convey her beauty. She was the most stunning woman he had ever seen, and he was certain that even if he searched the entire multiverse, he wouldn't find a more beautiful woman than her.(A/N atleast i don´t know such a words)

She radiated an aura of an older sister that made her look rather seductive. And with her gentle smile, it created a combination powerful enough to destroy the universe.

She picked up a tea cup from the table she created and observed an orion-like beast that was looking at its prey.

'From the moment she saw my memories, the way she looked at me changed..what did she saw to change her attitude so much? The way she looked at me before was that of someone interested in unusual creatures. But now she is looking at me as if she is looking at her favorite food but isn't sure if she wants to eat it now or save it for another time. '

"You look rather calm... Did you give up on living? " Dalia first broke silence.

"After you saw my everything.. you should know more than anyone that this wouldn't be enough to break me. " Orion spoke seriously.

Even though the situation was unexpected and unfavorable towards him, he believed that with more information he would find a solution.

"So stop playing games and explain me what do you want with me..you won't let me clear the dungeon and bring me here just to make fun of me and drink tea with you"

Daria deeply smiled when she saw Orion's change in demeanor. He had acted carefree without a bit of fear since he came here, so it was refreshing to see him like this.

"Don't be mad at me, I will explain everything to you," Dalia said.

She crossed her legs and, with the wave of her hand, created a holographic screen in front of Orion.

"As you already know, our physical bodies were destroyed." And we were forced to lock ourselves in this dream dimension. Before we were locked here, we created the System, "Dalia started explaining, as images of her and other gods were shoving on a holographic screen.

"Dungeon System-Tartarus..." Orion finished her sentence.

"Yes, we created this system as a means to balance this world and protect it from corrosion." since our souls and bodies were already too corroded. It was the only way to protect this world. Thanks to that, dungeons were born. " The screen showed a video of a young girl that looked like Cery's twin. The girl had some black parts on her body and was screaming in pain. Instead of tears, black liquid poured from her eyes.

Orion shifted his gaze from the screen to Cerys and noticed that her hands were clenched to the point where her nails dug into her skin. The golden liquid that Orion suspected to be her blood poured from her wounds.

"This dungeon was specially designed by as to select the mortal who will become Archangel."

"According to the books I read, gods should already have their own, seraphs, and virtues." Why would you need to choose a new one if you have an army of angels?" Orion asked.

'I know from games and even from the books that gods already have their own archangels. It was also unreasonable to use dungeons as a method to choose one. The gods have many allies among the higher races of this world. The best course of action would be to pick a candidate from among allies. It would take less time and it would be far better than waiting for someone to find this dungeon. '

Orion looked at Dalia, expecting her to answer. But instead, someone standing behind him answered his question.

"Because the angels were all infected with corroson kid."Duncan answered his question.

Before Orion could even notice, Duncan moved behind him. and put his heavy hand on Orion's shoulder.

'Fuck that scared the shit out of me...How that gorila did that? ' Orion was shocked because he didn´t notice Duncan moving behind him.

Behind Orion stood man tall, like a giant. Dunca was a 4-meter tall man. He had a robust body as proof of his status as God of Battle. His muscles were so big that Orion wasn't even half the size of his arm. If Sirius was a gorilla in Orion's eyes, then Duncan was King Kong.

He had short black hair and sharp golden eyes. Duncan dons a white sash around his torso. and a golden chain around his waist like a belt. He wears two thick and wide golden cuff-style bracelets on his wrists and has a visible diagonal scar on his wide chest.

He had a smile on his face as he looked at Orion.

His presence alone was enough to make even the mightiest fighters scream like little girls and beg for mercy.

Orion's survival instinct screamed:

'Danger..'

"May I ask how it happened, Duncan-sama?" Orion asked in a respectful tone.

Even though Dalia allowed him to talk to her casually. Dunkan didn't. And Orion wasn't dumb enough to anger this giant.

"Do you know what is a corosion kid?" Duncan asked in a deep voice that would shake even mountains.

"From what I know, corrosion is energy that corrodes all living things." Orion answered with what he knew from the game.

Corrosion was a status in the game, and the only one immune to it was the protagonist. If you fight an enemy that is affected by corrosion, there is a possibility that the status could be transferred to you if you are too close to it. Corrosion slowly drained your HP until you died or until you switched your chatracter to the MC.

" Correct but not entirely. Corrosion can not only corrode life, but mana and existence itself. Its energy is outside of this world. And its existence can cause strange phenomena in nature or even change the nature of creatures themselves. "

"That's why we.." Before Duncan could finish, Dalia interrupted him.

"That is enough, Duncan"

Orion noticed that Dalia interupted Duncan on purpose before he could say something that Dalia didn't wish Orion to know.

"What I wanted to say is that the reward for this dungeon is your only choice." she changed the topic of conversation

Dalia then leaned closer to Orion and whispered into his ear in a low, seductive tone.

"So tell me Orion. Do you want to become MY angel? "

Orion's face turned red

'Chill out! This is just a tactic. Think rationally motherfucker!' Orion tried to calm down his partner down there that intensively reacted

He triet to ignore his primal instincs that screamed in his head to thrown himself on woman in front of him. Because he knew that if he did something. He would die.

'This whole situation is too different from what it is supposed to be...There is no way she will give it to me for free. So what will she want? She knows everything about me. there is no way out of this with tricks, which mean his only way to survive is.. '

To walk stright into her trap.

"You saw my memories..." "You know what will i do when I will leave this place." "Do you really want to give me this type of power?"

Dalia returned to her seat and clasped her hands together, widely smiling, and said

"Of course I will...But becoming an angel means that you will be connected to the soul of one of us. It has a deeper connection than blood or marriage. It's not something you can sever any time. It's forever and even death won´t split us apart, so think carefully before you decide. "

What Dalia said had a deeper meaning . She said that even if he tried to change his race again with a different heart, it would be impossible and Orion understood that this was a warning..

'She is talking as if I had a choice..'

"Nee-san that.." Cerys wanted to speak.

She listened quietly the whole time and was confused and didn't understand why her sister was changing the plan they agreed on a hundred years ago.

But Dalia put her finger across Cery's lips and didn't let her speak. She then leaned closer to her and whispered something in her ear.

"I understand. I will believe in you. " "Cerys said with a defeated expression on her face.

Dalia then looked at Duncan, who just laughed and spoke.

"Hahaha, you don't need to explain anything to me." I believe in your judgment. "

'Dalia is doing something that other two weren´t aware of...what did she really saw in my memories..'

Orion, who was watching the whole thing, was confused about how he got into a situation that involved gods.

In the game, there were many mythical and important figures that the protagonist was involved with; many were even her love interests that had their own ending..He was aware that he would have to interact with such beings in the game's second half.

But he never expected he would get involved in such a situation just by clearing one dungeon.

He started to slowly understand that this is no longer a game where he can simply delete his progress and play again until he saves Layla and reaches the desired outcome.

This is an unpredictable world where he has nothing under control and the smallest mistake can mean his death. He was glad that he realized it now before he could make another mistake in the future.

"I don´t have any other choice, so what do you want from me?" Orion asked, looking straight into the eyes of Goddes.

When Dalia heard Orion, she had a delighted look on her face.Like kid that got present it wanted on christmas.

"First, I want you to believe in us more. I or my siblings aren't your enemies. " She said as she stood up

Dalia waved with her hand and the table and her chairs dispersed. She came close to the orion.

"Second, there will be 3 requests from each of us, but don't worry, it won't be nothing that will be in your way." Cerys and Duncan stood alongside Dalia

"Third, after everything will be over.."

"You will answer this question.. Ποιο είναι το πραγματικό σου όνομα"

"So..tell me Orion...what is your decision?"

Pov. Orion

I didn't ask what the point of that question was.

Or what did she mean by 'over everything'

I just kneeled on one knee in front of Dalia and said

"I will become yours.."

Snap!

After I said that I heard the sound of someone snapping and the sound of chains.

In front of me appeared a heart that was chained by multiple chains.

The chains looked as if they were coming from holes in cracked space.

The golden heart, sealed by chains, was slowly beating as if it was still alive.

I stood up and touched one chain that was sealing golden heart.

When I touched it, the chain broke and one crack in space disappeared.

Crack!

After that, I touched all the chains until all of them broke and disappeared. I didn't know where I learned how to destroy seals. It was just simply natural.

It was the same as the moment I regained my memories. The voice in my head The voice that begged me to save Laila.

It wanted me to eat it.

I grabbed my heart and felt it beating in my hand. It was a disgusting feeling.

I placed it closer to my mouth and exhaled. and took a bite. It was a warm and disgusting feeling.

After while I forced myselft to eat it whole

Crack! Crack! Crack!

I heard the sound of something cracking. Like when you crack an egg shell.

When I looked at my hand, I noticed tiny cracks on it.

"Oh..fuck"

The moment I said that, my vision turned black and my body turned into dust.
