A camera man

Riley was currently in his room listening to the reports brought to him by his clones , he didn't want them to transfer the information to his brain which is faster and easier 

He wanted to act like a CEO of a company who will read files give instructions if necessary and just walk away 

His clone who brought the report stood before Riley handing over another document to him 

As he was going through the documents he could sense the presence of people approaching his door 

Riley was not expecting anyone and he found it strange that someone will also come to look for him 

"Knock knock" someone knocked on his door 

He stood up from his seat his clone having finished giving his report melted away he hates boring places and Riley room just had to be one of those places 

Riley opened the door and saw that it was Lucia standing in front of his door 

"Can I come in?" She asked pushing him aside and entered the room 

"Why ask for permission if you will just badge in" Riley said as he moved to boil water in making coffee for her 

He didn't want to be a bad host even though the guest was not invited 

He turned his back to her and starting making the preparations of the coffee 

He knew she liked white coffee with a pinch of salt added to it 

After making the coffee he handed it to her she was sitting on his bed so he took a sit at the other end of the bed 

He also had a glass of cold milk with him sipping it 

"The demons, they are not attack us " Lucia said 

"I mean it's a good thing but i have a bad feeling about it" she added 

Riley turned his head and looked at her not answering he stood up and opened the door reveling the other three glueing their ears to the door wanting to listen 

"Enter" Riley said as he walked away not asking them for an explanation 

They walked in all looking like a child caught doing something bad finding a position in the room to stay 

Julian opted to sit on the window for reason unknown to anyone 

"Yes they are planning to attack us sometime ago but my clone disrupted their plan by killing one of the generals daughter " Riley said remembering the fight scene 

"What?" They all said astonished 

Riley shrugged his shoulders and passed the coffee he finished brewing to the rest who just arrived 

"The demons capture humans as slaves and use them to work also sealing their mana rendering them unable to escape" Riley said , he took a sip from the cold milk he was holding 

"So how did it come to the daughter of one of the demon generals dying" Andrew asked 

"My clone was also captured, he allowed himself to be captured rather, out of curiosity as to where they will be sold off to and who will buy them "

"For two months he search the whole Lazz city also the largest city in the demon world locating the slaves location and planted trackers on them" Riley said trackers he ment little Riley but didn't say so since Andrew and his friends also had little Riley on them which allows him to know their location of he wants its also how he knew they were in front of his door 

Riley paused he wanted to make their curiosity grow , seeing Riley keep quiet for some time not continuing what he was saying they grew impatient 

"Why are you stopping and not continuing to tell us what happened " Anna asked her voice filled with impatience 

"Well the daughter is wake now which means their plan is back to motion " Riley said chuckling to himself he knew the demons will attack them after Magoth regain her strength, they must have thought that Riley is no more so she felt confident in herself to kill another human who stays in the academy 

"Didn't you say your clone killed her" Lucia asked Riley confused if the whole thing going on

Riley facepalmed " isn't it common knowledge that demons can revive their dead ones if the time of death is less than 4 hours?" Riley asked them thinking why they were so dumb he didn't make them this dumb in his novel setting 

"Revive ?, I didn't know demons can revive themselves " Julian said getting down from the window 

"Well now you know " Riley said wondering why something's are different from what he wrote in the novel 

"Okay continue what you were telling us , what did you clone do" Lucia asked 

"Well he killed the general's daughter in his presence and also infiltrated his mind telling him to take revenge by killing the four rising stars in the human magic academy" Riley said a smile growing on his face as he looked at them their face contoured 

Anna started shivering thinking of what will happen next Andrew opened his mouths and closed it back he's also at loss for words

Lucia sat on the bed her face blank while Julian had a smile on his face a smile that says I give up I know I'm dead 

"You guys don't have to be like this" Riley said trying to make his facial expression look like he's hurt by the way they are reacting 

"While diverting the demons rage to you, he saved the people trapped in the demon world and teleported them back to the human world, he's keeping them save for now and they are receiving treatments from the best doctors out of this world" Riley said referring to his clones who stays in the space station and is currently treating the people who suffered in the demon world 

"See fuck you Riley" Anna shouted her face red with anger she stood up from her sit and stomped on the floor she wanted to vent her anger on something but didn't want to destroy anything in Riley's room so she eventually went to the bed and started punching it 

"I see you are so excited to punch some demons" Riley said nodding to himself smiling as he looked at anna fuming in anger

"Who cares of some slave in the demon realm , the little attention we had then was hard to deal with but now we have to face the wrath of the demons because of some clone who is not even human" she added her face filled with anger 

"I thought you all wanted to be a hero" Riley said blinking a couple of times after hearing Anna's outburst 

"Yes we are heros" Andrew said 

"But isn't that too much for us to handle, I'm sure the next attack will be crazy as all the demon will seek for our blood, and we can't be sure to fight them off ourselves" Andrew said trying his best to stay calm 

"Who said you guys are going to fight" Riley asked them 

"Er?"

"Uh?"

"What"

They all said at the same time confused not understanding what he ment by that they are not going to fight 

"You see my clone has a grudge against Magoth the demon general's daughter, she will also be present in the attack they are planning , his plan is to kidnap her and take her to a safe place and have a heart to heart conversation with her " Riley said chuckling imagining the scene of his clone dismembering magoth and feed her healing potions to regrow her lost limbs and then repeating the process till he's satisfied 

"Just wait and watch the scene unfolding before you and witness the power of a clone" Riley said while nodding to himself the smile on his face widening 

"Oh I forgot , I think you guys will have to fight so that my clone can make a dramatic entrance" Riley added as his smile widening 

" Fuck you and your dramatic entrance" Julian said he was starting to be happy that they won't have to fight but now he's pushing them to the fight so that a clone would come into the battle field dramatically 

"So what will you be doing on that day" Anna asked 

"You can't expect us to protect you like some weak student" she added 

"No I don't want protection I already have a job for myself that day" Riley said raising his tablet

A profession where the person has insane luck more than the protagonist, the profession where apocalypse and monsters all avoid one person in the whole movie the omini potent of all universe 

"A camera man" he said while smiling his mouth curling up reveling a sinister smile 

Andrew has his mouth wide open , the others were not faring well either 

"A camera man?"

"A camera man?"

"A camera man?"

They asked at the same time , Riley nodded as he sipped his coffee using telekinesis to keep the liquid at bay not allowing it to spill out

"Yes a camera man" Riley responded
