161 A Deadly Challenge

Chad sat in the middle of the county jail while awaiting his trial. He had never before thought in his life that he would end up in such a miserable state. There was only one person he could truly blame for his circumstances, and that was none other than Alex.

While it was true that many of the misfortunes that had befallen Chad as of late were of his own doing. His fall from grace had only begun after Alex returned to his life. That combined with the fact that Alex deliberately made Chad's life difficult, led the man to believe that Alex was entirely responsible for his current predicament.
