Back at the Red Palace, a dreary silence pressed on the throne room, with demons, humans, monsters and gods holding their breaths as they waited for Huan Yi's reply. 

"Give up on the Evil Path? Abandon corruption? Become the savior and…live in harmony with the Creator? Is that what you came here to ask of me?" In a calm and disarming tone that gave no insight into his inner thoughts, Huan Yi asked. 

"Yes, Your Majesty! Only when you learn to live in peace with the Creator…can order and stability return to the Three Realms!" The Yin Dynasty noble replied immediately, making the Autarch tilt his head as his lips curled into a smile that overshadowed the sun and moon. 

"Interesting. Ji Chang, duke of Western Yin, do I look bored to you?" Huan Yi asked—the question making Ji Chang's eyes narrow in confusion.

"I…don't think so," Ji Chang replied following a moment of silence.
