11 Chapter 11: Vampire Lord's Descent

Time slowed to a crawl.

A moment stretched to an eternity as the female Vampire drained her victim dry of blood.

In the eerie silence of the forest, with only the sound of the nearby river and the frantic feeding of the Vampire, the world was shrouded in a sorrowful veil.

A bleak situation, with no hope in sight, as the last drops of life continued to drain from unconscious Aiden's trembling body.

[1%]

Aiden lay on the brink of death, his life force ebbing away with only 1% remaining, and the world held its breath in anticipation of his demise.

But in that moment,

Shackle!

A change took place that shook the very foundations of Negressea.

Crackle!

A new power surged through Aiden's body, filling him with a strength and vitality beyond anything he had ever known.

It was as if the world itself had shifted on its axis, and a new dawn had dawned upon the land.

[Awakening...]

[Chapter 1: Descent]

[A new Vampire Lord has descended.]

[The Race Piece of Vampire species is resonating with the host...]

The world around Aiden, who was held by the female vampire, seemed to shift and warp.

Thick, black thunder clouds suddenly shrouded the previously sunny and bright sky.

Rumble! Rumble!

The air grew heavy, and an oppressive pressure descended upon everything around Aiden.

As if in response to Aiden's transformation, the black clouds soon turned a deep, ominous red, as if celebrating the birth of a new Lord.

The very earth shook beneath Aiden's feet, and the sound of the river grew distant as his eyes opened slowly with a bloody vision.

His senses were sharpened beyond anything humanly possible.

[Vampire Race Piece detected the host's predicament.]

[Vampire Race Piece is using the stored casuality.]

[Every stat has temporarily increased to an A rank.]

A crimson aura started to form around Aidan as his body continued to sway and contort, radiating with a suffocating and terrifying energy that weighed down on the world around him.

Vapors of blood began to evaporate from his skin, rising up in a thick mist that shrouded him in a veil of darkness.

He felt the power coursing through his veins, filling him with an insatiable hunger for blood and a thirst for power that could never be quenched.

Beside him, the female vampire who had been holding him was forced to release him.

Bang!

Her knees slammed against the ground, as she fell under the weight of his power.

Her mind shook awake from the shock while all the craziness she had earlier faded and her reasoning and senses returned.

However, she didn't even have the time to assess her situation.

Booom!

Because, in an instant, she was launched far away, rolling on the ground in terror as the subconscious power Aidan released overwhelmed her.

After coming to a halt, and barely suppressing her innate fear of the oppression Aidan's power brought her, she lifted her head to look at him.

His blood red hair swayed in the air with a crimson aura surrounding his body, his face all bloodied, and his bloody eyes looking down at her, as if she were a worm.

Yet this wasn't the end, because she could feel his power still growing to an unimaginable level, something she had never felt from anyone.

Even the strongest in the whole Vampire clan paled in comparison to the person in front of her.

He was exuding an innate suppression that froze her in terror.

She struggled to move and comprehend what was happening to the human in front of her, who had been her prey mere moments ago.

But the force coming from Aidan was unstoppable and unshakable.

It was a force of nature, a primal energy that caused the earth to quake and the very fabric of reality to shift.

And as the world shook and trembled in terror, the female vampire could do nothing but cower in fear.

Her mind was in chaos, her emotions running wild as she struggled to make sense of the situation.

She was terrified, her heart pounding in her chest as she realized that she was in the presence of a being far greater than she could ever comprehend.

And that her actions might have awakened something that should have never been awakened.

All around the world, in the multiple dungeons far and wide, demons of all sorts looked in the direction of the First Demonic Dungeon, where Aidan was. As they too felt the rise of a terror and calamity.

Similarly, about a few hundred kilometers away from Aiden, in the same dungeon, an old looking Vampire ran outside his castle and then looked at the bloody sky in horror.

"How could it be?" He murmured and fell to his knees in despair.

The Dragon Lord and the Elf Lord from their respective dungeons also felt this new presence, their fear was palpable because a new Lord had been born.

But unlike them, who were just elected Lords, this new one was an authentic Lord.

The world around Aidan trembled and shook in terror as strange winds blew through the trees.

The environment grew progressively gloomier and more menacing as Aidan's transformation progressed.

The very air grew thick with tension, and it was also at this time that the female vampire finally realized the reason for the innate suppression of her bloodline that she was feeling.

"Lord." She muttered subconsciously, realizing the identity of the man who stood in front of her.

Whose mere existence was too much for her to bear.

Nevertheless, Aiden himself wasn't in a good condition, as his body felt like it would burst from this unbearable strength.

But as the darkness in his heart started to flow out of its shackles and into reality, feelings like pain left his body, and his countenance turned cold and apathetic.

And in that moment, he knew that he had truly become something beyond human, something beyond mortal understanding.

He was a Vampire lord, a being of darkness and power, and he understood that after today, nothing would ever be the same again.

[Warning! Warning! ]

[The host's body isn't capable of handling such a large amount of strength.]

[The host's health is 1%. Immediately find a source of energy. Otherwise, the host's body will start crumbling because of the excessive power.]

Despite the continuous warnings from the system, there wasn't even a shred of worry on Aiden's face, or in his heart.

Eyes devoid of emotion and blood flowing down the tips of his fingers, he extended his hand towards his own shadow and clenched his fists as if pulling out something.

Slick!

It was those threads connecting him with the horse that he pulled without hesitation or second thought.

In a matter of milliseconds, Aidan transferred all of the horse's life force to himself and distributed it throughout his body.

This caused the horse to silently vanish from existence entirely.

Aiden's scars started healing immediately.

[Health increasing: 1% -> 3%... 8%]

However, he consciously stopped his health at 8%, which was barely enough to keep him alive, and then used the rest as a fuel to maintain his current state.

Although it felt a lot, not even a second passed in real-time with Aidan's speed, which was already beyond a mortal's reach.

Especially his movements, which were precise and devoid of hesitation. As if he had not even a shred of doubt about his decisions and actions.

[Life Force has been used to maintain the state of the Vampire Lord.]

[Calculating the time, with the current available Genes and Life Force...]

"That's Enough." He asserted.

Then, he turned his indifferent gaze at the female vampire, and a shiver ran up her spine.

However, she wasn't even given the time to stand up and run, because Aiden lifted his hand towards her, and just spoke one word.

"Come!"

As his body released its newly discovered power, the space around him shook and trembled.

The female Vampire felt her body spinning out of control as she was propelled towards Aiden, stopping only when his palm locked around her neck.

"I... I... Lord."

Immediately, as he held her by the neck with his right arm, his left hand clenched into a fist, which he then swung towards her abdomen.

Bang!

"Aughhaa!"

The vampire girl's body, suspended in the air, curled into a C as Aiden's punch landed on her abdomen, and salvia sprayed from her mouth as she felt the touch of death.

However, not so soon, as Aiden had something else planned for her.

"This was for the blood you sucked."

"Don't worry, I controlled my strength to not hit your vital organs."

Even though the words he whispered in her ear were revengeful, his voice was emotionless.

The clock ticked, but Aiden wasn't in a hurry.

He pulled her neck to his mouth, and with his new vampire teeth,

Stab!

"Ahhhhhh!!!"
