"Leon's mother is of dragon nobility, making her highly esteemed within the family due to her lineage and, most importantly, her bloodline. While his sister inherited her dragon blood, Leon did not, making him a complete failure in the eyes of his family.

Even a low-ranking dragonborn human, whom he derogatorily refers to as "bad blood," can undergo dragonoid transformation—a feat he cannot achieve.

However, being the son of his mother provides a better chance for the demonic dragon seed to thrive within him.

This seed contains the essence of a demonic dragon, which turns its host into vessel for demonsic dragon for his resurrection, The dragon nearly decimating half of the dragon race 10,000 years ago and earned immense hatred and fear.

He now serves as a means for his resurrection, but for it to fully blossom, it requires a high affinity for dragons and minimal mana in the body. This explains why the king ordered to stop his mana flow—a cruel act towards his goals. I can't stop myself from feeling angry after all; I was Leon now.

Leon's slight display of anger was noticed by Thomson, who thought he may have hurt Leon by removing the seal too quickly. He slowed down momentarily, but a glance from Leon halted his self-doubt, and he continued his task.

Leon brushed aside his thoughts and focused on the changes in his body. He inspected his right hand, now unable to heal, and sighed.

He realized he held the key to his fate and understood that perspective shapes the narrative. In this novel, every villain has reasons for their actions, leading to varying opinions.

Just like one's perception of the innocent Queen can shift. While some viewed her negatively, many appreciated her sacrifice.

Unable to delve into the kingdom's politics in his current state, Leon's focus on his survival because it is uncertain that he will survive due to the demonic dragon seed within him.

There's a risk of him exploding and transforming into the dragon, ultimately meeting his demise at the hands of the protagonist just like in the novel.

Thomson removed the eleventh seal, and as the last ten remained, he noticed Leon's body turning black. sensing determination in Leon's eyes, he continued removing the seals.

As five seals were left, mana began to gather around Leon, turning black. Horror washed over Thomson as he realized the trap set to kill their master.

He understands what the black mana means, and upon seeing the small horns formed by the black mana, he knows that it is the demonic dragon seed. If Leon were to even manifest 5% of the demonic dragon, he would surely die.

The reason he knows it that there were many cases like him in the past and in all of them the host is killed by the royal army send by the Queen of dragons. Hastily, he assisted Leon in stabilizing his mana, hoping for his survival, knowing that their lives depended on it."

Third person pov

As the sun was in its zenith in the sky, casting a warm glow over the sprawling castle grounds, a sense of unease began to settle upon the soldiers stationed within. High walls fortified with centuries of craftsmanship loomed overhead, while powerful warriors patrolled the perimeter, ever vigilant against potential threats.

But today, their watchfulness was met with an ominous sight: a dark thundercloud swirling menacingly above their heads, its roiling mass tinged with an otherworldly blackness. A collective gasp escaped the lips of the soldiers as they beheld the unnatural phenomenon, their eyes widening in disbelief and fear.

Suddenly, bolts of black lightning lashed out from the heart of the storm, crackling with malevolent energy as they streaked towards the castle below. But before they could make contact, a shimmering barrier sprang to life, encasing the fortress in a protective shield. The lightning sizzled and fizzled against the invisible barrier, unable to breach its formidable defenses.

As the failed assault dissipated into the air, an eerie darkness descended upon the castle grounds, shrouding everything in an impenetrable gloom. The once vibrant gardens wilted under the oppressive weight of the encroaching darkness, their colorful blooms withering into lifeless husks.

A bone-chilling wind swept through the courtyard, carrying with it an icy coldness that pierced to the very core of those unfortunate enough to be caught within its grasp. Despite the midday sun hanging high in the sky, the air grew frigid, stealing away warmth and replacing it with a sense of impending doom.

Inside the castle walls, the normal hum of activity ground to a halt as fear took hold of the hearts of those within. Even the most seasoned warriors found themselves trembling in the face of such unnatural phenomena, their courage waning in the presence of the unknown.

Meanwhile, in the nearby city, panic ensued as the effects of the thunderstorm began to take their toll. People fled in terror as black lightning struck with deadly precision, claiming the lives of many in its wake. The chilling wind, laced with the specter of death, swept through the streets, leaving devastation in its wake.

In the span of mere moments, what had once been a bustling city now lay in ruins, its streets littered with the fallen and its buildings reduced to rubble. The survivors huddled together, seeking refuge from the wrath of the storm that raged on unabated.

As the darkness continued to spread, enveloping both castle and city in its icy embrace, the people could only pray for deliverance from the horrors that threatened to consume them.
