Chapter 1: New Start

"Young Master …" a firm voice woke me from my sleep. I opened my eyes to a luxurious room with exquisite engraving all around and a man wearing a butler outfit looking respectfully at me near the door.

He looks familiar but unfamiliar at the same time. Is this a prank or something? I was in my lab working on a black tech my company found. After deciphering ruins and text on the black tech my company located in an ancient cave, we concluded that it was related to souls. The last thing I remember is a small glowing halo radiating on the tech's surface; man, did something go wrong?

I have a guess, but let's think about it later. Let's first deal with the current situation. "Get me a glass of water," I said commandingly While sitting on the bed. "Yes, Young Mater." the man with a butler outfit left the room after replying respectfully.

While sitting up, I noticed feeling my body had become shorter and lighter.

Simple enough, there is little info in the status, and messing around the system, many features are locked. There is no help from this anytime soon, no quest or stuff on how to unlock other features.

That sucks, but I am cool with that. I hate being controlled and told by others what to do, so I guess it's for the best.
