(VII) Megan's call

In another part of the world,

A black whale-shaped submarine rode beneath the blue Atlantic ocean with a yellow logo showing the word "Supercop."

Inside the submarine, the walls were white, with no windows to the ocean or doors. Men and women in white cop uniforms could be seen strolling along the halls with flat file cases in their hands.

In another room, muscular men drenched in sweat worked out vigorously on advanced gym equipment which was not available to the public and at another part of the room.

Suddenly, the door of a room opened as Karen Kayne strode in, and of course, he on his usual trench coat with a cap.

Inside this room, a man of about 50 years with deep laugh lines and small eyes which were covered by a pair of thick white brows, sat on a seat.

Seeing Kayne, the man grinned "Long time no see, Kayne. How you doing?"

"Work, that's what I have been doing." Kayne sat on the free leather seat and slumped backward.

"You look stressed. Something eating you? " The man asked, after noticing the tired look on Kayne's face.

"Nightmare," Kayne said. Ever since he left the crime scene, his mind had constantly drifted to Nightmare and where he was now.

"A report came in early that he's still alive." The man, whose name was Sherman, said.

"Yep, fortunately those meta org bastards didn't do their job well," Kayne admitted, his features disappointed.

Sherman act as though he didn't hear that. People feared the meta-organization, but some folks didn't give a damn about them, and Karen Kayne was one such person.

"Kayne, be mindful of the way you speak." Sherman gazed around the office. "You know, those guys can see and hear anything."

"I know, but sometimes I just want to let out my frustrations. This isn't the first time they fucked up like this. You remember that bitch, Megan Black? "

Sherman nodded.

"Well, they failed to erase her as well. Who knows what crimes she is committing now? "

"You think they aren't capable, huh? You should have thought of that when you rejected their invitation. "

The super cop where like a police, but they were after rogued supes or villains; they didn't arrest normal people— only people with super human powers. Kayne was also a member of this organization.

And he was the leader of the only villain hunting squad of the super cop—the X Squad

"What are you saying?"

"Since you feel you are a more capable human than they are, you should have taken their invite. Then maybe we wouldn't be having this discussion now."

"Maybe we will need him." A sinister smile crossed his face. "We would need him to swat that physco into two."

Ruby Rose's days were numbered!

Back at the cave...

"So Muna, wanna tell me things about yourself?"

Ruby had been scrutinizing Muna for a while, and so far she hadn't jumped on him for his blood. that was a good thing!

"My full name is Muna Vlad," Muna said while trying to avoid Ruby's gaze.

This bullshit. All the system novels he had read said the same thing; Inhaling a cold air, Ruby fixed his gaze on Muna.

"Are you, by any way, related to Dracula?"

Muna's heart thumped slightly, before increasing in sound like a crescendo as beads of sweat appeared on her forehead when Ruby mentioned the name...

... Dracula.

Ruby noticed this, and he was sure. Muna was anything but ordinary. He walked to her and gently wiped the beads of sweat from her face, staring into her eyes.

"It is OK if you don't want to talk about it. When we get to know each other more, then you can confide in me. "

Muna smiled and said, "Thank you for understanding."

Ruby didn't know, but he had confirmed one thing.

"My name is Ruby. But you can call me hon. " He stretched out his hands, but to his surprise, the vampire sank her fangs into his hands.

furrowing his brows, Ruby watched as she used her saliva to clean the bite mark, and it disappeared as though there was no bite at all.

"Are you satisfied?" Ruby asked.

"No!" She shook her head.

Ruby had to admit it; Muna looked cute and innocent for a vampire.

"Why don't you put those fangs in there?" he tilted his neck toward her, revealing those pulsing muscles. "I heard that's the sweet spot."

Without hesitation, Muna plunge her fangs into Ruby's neck and wrapped her naked legs around h's waist as her warm pussy squeezed against his already erect dragon .

Some time later, Muna pulled out her fangs and licked the blood from Ruby's neck with her tongue, then hi's skin turned pale.

"Okay, now I need blood as well." Ruby chuckled as he took a quick loan from the system and bought a blood bag with his shop points. He connected the blood through an Iv cord, and his skin retain color.

"The room is to the left," Ruby said.

[ Host can just summon her back to the system]

No answer came.

Ruby led Muna to the bedroom, and When she entered the room, he saw that she wasn't impressed; there were no surprises expression on her face despite how fancy he made this place since all the unholy stuffs would happen here.

"Muna, can I get you clothes?" He asked as he sat beside her.

"Umu" She nodded her head, cutely and within a minute, Ruby purchased a pair of red sexy lingeries for her.

"Okay, I'll go check something outside," Ruby said; however, his phone buzzed.

He peeped.

It was the baddest woman on the planet..

...Megan Black.

"Hey, Meg, you're still alive."

"You expected me to die!!"

Ruby placed the phone away from his ears, placing it on speaker mode. " Why did you call? "

"Can you come to my place?" Megan asked in her nicest voice.

"No!"

"I'll give you a quicky."

"I'm on my way."
