1 Chapter 1. An Uncanny Encounter
In the small dormitory room,
Riyan sat at his desk, engrossed in the novel "Saint's Odyssey." His laptop screen cast a soft glow on his face, and he read the words with intense concentration, feeling his emotions rise and fall as he turned each page.
Suddenly, his face twisted in anger, and he let out a loud curse. "FUCK THIS SADISTIC BASTARD OF AN AUTHOR!!!!!" Although the novel had been engaging until that point, Riyan found himself disappointed with the turn the story had taken.
Despite his frustration, he was determined to not let it ruin his mood. He brushed it off, realizing it was already past midnight, and decided to get some rest before his early shift at the cafe the next day.
The following morning, the sound of his alarm clock jolted Riyan awake. He groggily reached over to turn it off, but as the noise persisted, he finally grew so frustrated that he smashed it in anger. He then made his way to the bathroom, where he took a hot and steamy shower.
The water felt soothing against his skin, and he felt himself relaxing as he washed off the grime of the previous day. After getting out, he dressed himself in comfortable clothes and made his way to the kitchen to make breakfast.
He whipped up a delicious omelette and toasted some bread to go with it. The aroma of the hot food wafted through the air as he ate, savoring each bite. After finishing his meal, he left the dormitory and made his way to the cozy cafe where he worked.
As he walked, he put on his earbuds and started listening to "Hymn for the Weekend" by Coldplay, one of his favorite songs. The beat lifted his spirits, and he hummed the lyrics as he crossed the street.
Suddenly, a loud car horn pierced his ears, and he turned around to see a big truck hurtling towards him at a rapid speed. Panic set in, but Riyan quickly regained his composure, realizing that panicking would not solve the situation. He tried to get out of the way, but the truck collided with him, causing him to feel piercing pain and his body to become numb. As he lost consciousness, he thought, "Is this the encounter of legendary Trunk-sama?" And then his mind went blank.
