Chapter 13: Big Change
~Third POV~
Suddenly, the air is filled with more coldness of what happened as Jae was happy about turbines blowing the wind wildly around the holdup. Neo looks at Jae and asked using her semblance at him, 'So, what's with the whole light show their little green? You made that kid die in a cruel death but I ain't complaining.'
Neo is stated to be cruel, vicious, and possibly sadistic, and additionally, she is extremely ruthless, easily turning to murder as a means of achieving her goals and often doing so with a playful demeanor.
Knowing her behavior and personality Jae congratulated Neo much to her joy of such a thing happening to her completing a job as he rewards her as well, "Thanks for the help Neo with this kid dead on gone it will be easier. After all, we are doing the job right. As thanks want the usual tub of Neapolitan ice cream for the help?"
Neo's eyes shined brightly at that as she replied with her signboard using her semblance with a slight nod agreeing with Jae rewards, 'Make it 5 and you got yourself a deal for the reward helping you knock the kid out. So long as I get the reward it's fine even murdering a few kids for some of my favorites after all you ain't exactly poor.'
At this Jae sighs at this agreeing with her words as she jumps a bit happier as he responds to her in a defeated tone, "Sigh… I swear Neo I should keep my mouth shut but sure. I'll get you your 5 tubs of Neapolitan ice cream. I swear I don't know where you put that ice cream inside you."
Neo silently laughs at this as Jae knows her personality very well.
Neo possesses a desire to be validated whenever she accomplishes a task, as well as to be treated as an equal by a partner or superior. She is happy with working with Roman, as he often acknowledged her for completing a job.
So, using that fact he gained a powerful ally to her as he managed to get her attention by not caring much about Neo stuff like how Roman did with her.
Neo was extremely loyal to Roman and very close with him. She willingly carried out his demands and he was the only one she did not show contempt towards. Likewise, Roman never got upset with Neo like he did with others, and they were very proficient in wordlessly coordinating attacks.
But that was why he bothered teaming up with Roman and Neo for the few years together since Jae knew one key fact that Neo will be extremely vulnerable as it showed in the RWBY show. Neo had a previously lonely life until she met Roman, and after his death, her life returned to said state. This is illustrated by her disheveled appearance in "The Coming Storm".
Jae looks at Neo and nodded helplessly at her but was secretly thinking darkly about her fate as he thinks to himself coldly, 'And when Neo partner Roman dies, she will either fall into that suicidal state or… force to cling to me as support making me the next Roman because of relationship with each other. And when I return from my trip from Vacuo it will be just that much easier to control her.'
Looking at the distance below them they see Roman in trouble Jae smirked recalling this scene as he admires the new information about getting Sun semblance <Via Sun>. <Via Sun> is the Semblance of Sun Wukong it allows him to create clones of himself.
Sun's Semblance is named <Via Sun>, the ability to create clones of himself using his Aura. While similar to Blake's Semblance, the key difference is that rather than leaving clones behind to take the hit, his clones are fully tangible and able to fight for him.
To use them the user summoning them must stand still and manipulate them into performing actions, though over time this weakness can begin to the clones also can detonate on contact.
It would also seem that <Via Sun> rapidly depletes his Aura, for the user cannot maintain it for longer periods without experiencing fatigue. Sun's Semblance works as an extension of his consciousness, in which he can sense and feel what his clones do as well. As a result, he is susceptible to mental attacks through his clones.
Neo and Jae look at Roman looking afar as he began to speak to Blake confidently, "I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation..."
Two more Bullheads are hovering above the heist, and as Blake watches in horror, Roman smiles and manages to fire his cane at Blake's feet, resulting in a large explosion…

*BOOM*
Penny and Ruby turn around upon hearing the noise, seeing the smoke rise from the docking bay just a few buildings away.
Ruby looks in the direction of the noise of an explosion as well as the horror expression she expresses could only go wrong from the way where the fire and smoke originated. With that Penny and Ruby, both rushed their way to find out what happened.

Blake, dazed but relatively unhurt on the ground, quickly rolls and runs out of the way of Roman's continued attacks, flaming missiles destroying cargo behind her as she flips and uses her semblance to dodge then retreats behind more containers.
Roman starts approaching slowly as he begins his taunt in Blake's direction, "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty..."
*Thud*
A large thud sound of something no someone falling to the ground was a teenage Faunus getting the White Fang attention and Blakes as her eyes widen in horror as she knew who the person was dead on the floor with her eyes building up tears.
She couldn't look away as the face of horror soon realized on her face as she sees her first ally to help her lie on the ground dead with his head cracked Jae talked as Happy Man began, "Ah, sorry for the wait Roman. Had a little monkey problem shame he wasn't the brightest banana of the bunch. Hope he thinks it's better to mess with the law of the jungle? Hahaha!"
The White Fang members looked a bit nervous about the scene as Jae raises his hand holding the Skyspliter Blake begged the person holding his weapon, "Wait! No please stop! He has nothing to do with this, please!! STOP!!!!!"
*SPLAT*
A loud splatting sound as the body of Sun is no longer around as the Jae gets closer to Blake as he makes a joker expression smiling at Blake getting her to grit her teeth holding her katana blade at him, "Why so sad little lady? I mean you should be happy, right? I mean I'm the Happy Man who always brings a smile to your face ya know? Yahahaha!"
The Bullheads open to let more White Fang members descend on the scene, standing by Roman as he goes around Blake surrounding her as he speaks coldly to her, "You are not the brightest runt in the bunch, are you, kid? Wonder what that Adam brat would want if we give you to him right Kitty?"
Blake instantly flinch in fear of his name and the implications as her situation grew dire…
With no Sun to backup Blake in this scene, she was slowly cornered surrounded by her former members of the White Fang as Neo began to get closer to her as the grunts all aimed their guns at Blake as she used her semblance to let Blake knows what happens next as she goes to her lower parts holding tightly scaring Blake, 'Wow! I never knew you were dumb to come here all by yourself. You know what happens to pretty girls like you…'
That was when Blake was the only one who saw what was written on the billboard construct illusion as Blake pales at this reading the last parts as Neo moved her hands delicately between Blakes's legs and to her panties going underneath her pants, 'Girls like you get sold off as pretty sex cum sluts. Breeders. Workers. Slaves. Whores. Fuck Toys. Either way, you get raped for how pretty you are. You will get pound whenever your master owns you if he's or she is bored. It doesn't matter whether you like it, hate it, or if it hurts. Every day you will be raped as that will be part of your life.'
Blake could only gulp at the nervousness of what's going to happen, but this does let up a dilemma for Jae though as he thinks for a bit of deciding Blakes fate, 'Hmm… considering for the plot Blake doesn't contribute much to the plot. Only fill in a number for a fight but everything in the fighting tournament is meaningless… sadly enough for me she's still valuable to the plot such a shame.'
If Blake has Sun around then the situation, she's in would be completely like canon but now without Sun to distract the grunts and with her only alone she's left all alone before any of her teammates could save her with time to spare for the villains.
Going towards Blake a small smack behind her head made her faint of the damage as she couldn't use her Semblance to escape this time Jae grabbed her by the waist and started tying her up using anti-semblance cuffs, which he got from the Black Market as well as gag her.
Lifting it over his shoulder Jae sighs inside his head with the situation changed like this for Blake as he asks the White Fang members and Roman crew, "Sorry but I'm afraid I'll be taking this little lady. She's way too useful to have around as a hostage to her parents. After all, she is a Belladonna heir to the Faunus? Hope you don't mind boss?"
Roman raised his eyebrow at that as one of the White Fang grunts arguably disagree with Jae as he shouted at him, "Sorry but that ain't happening, human! Per orders from Adam, if we the White Fang were to spot or capture Blake, we are to return her to Adam by his request human!"
At this moment Jae could only click his teeth as he sees no reason to exactly disagree with the grunt words risking the relationship with Neo and Roman for getting Blake hand over to Adam. It wasn't worth the risk of losing trust, so he reluctantly agreed…
But that was expected of course what he needed was to buy as much time as possible…
Of course, that's without the anti-semblance cuffs returned to him as he already noticed and stalled for enough time for a certain duo to arrive. A familiar voice was heard as well as a rush of petals was coming toward the group.
*Swoosh*
Ruby appears on the rooftop overlooking them but seeing Blake in danger used her <Petal Burst> to rescue her as she managed to get Blake tied and gagged she speaks to herself calmly, "Whew… that was close and dangerous Blake. But I guess we aren't out of danger yet…"
Roman glances at Ruby Rose annoyed with her as he spoke annoyed, "Well, hello, Red! Isn't it past your bedtime?"
Jae, on the other hand, was looking at Penny from the rooftop as Ruby looks ready to leave Ruby gets almost everyone's attention as Penny gets ready determined, "Don't worry, Ruby. I'm combat ready!"
Her backpack mechanically opens up, and from its dark depths comes a single sword that extends and multiples into several blades hovering over Penny's back.
Leaping from the rooftop with the weapons acting as wings, she sends three of her swords to knock two White Fang soldiers down before even landing on the ground, where she proceeds to fling the swords at one enemy, impale another to a wall, create a barrier of spinning steel against a running attack, leaping over a goon with her swords in tow, and finally making a wheel that she throws to knock multiple Faunus off their feet.
*Swoosh*
*Bam*
*Bam*
Three Bullheads come from the skies and open fire on the battle, but Penny merely forms a shield and launches two of her swords into the wall behind her, which in turn pull their wielder back with their strings.
When her swords swirl around her again, she commands them to open their points and build up a large glowing ball of green light.
*PEW*
*BOOM*
*Swoosh*
With a punching action, several bright lasers crack the pavement when they fire at the transports and slice each one in half, causing several of the White Fang members inside to fall and letting Ruby watch as Bullheads fall in pieces behind her giving her the chance to flee from the scene carrying Blake away to safety…

…
Once Ruby was far away from the sight as she saw her friends Blake harmed clearly shown tied up and gagging quickly brought worry in their eyes, "BLAKE! Ruby what happened to Blake why –"
However, before Ruby could respond she already have her scrolls working as she called the public authorities as told them everything she witnessed.
Ruby was more concerned about what happened to Blake than Penny at the moment as she prays for her safety, 'Please be ok Penny… just make it out alright…'
Much to her heart, she didn't know why but it felt like something really bad is going to happen to Penny, and not assisting her…

Stunned, Jae turns back to Penny as she aims her swords at the remaining Bullheads holding the crate of Dust and pulls back on their wires, tugging the aircraft with them.
Jae seeing these rushes towards the strings keeping the shipment carriages of Dust contained inside as Penny advises Jae about what he plans to do, "Sorry sir but you would be fighting in vain stopping me from letting the Dust Carriage would be wasteful -"
*SWOOSH*
Before Penny could respond to the sudden change in directions Jae Skyspliter changed Penny's direction making her go wide eyes at this. To further increase his rate of success in hopes of ending Penny he began to use <Aura Amp> to increase his aura to strengthen his physical strength in the process.
Knowing the risk and strength Jae narrowed his eyes under his mask using hardening to ensure the damage hit her, 'Nope that was never the plan. What I wanted from this is just you Penny. My wonderful android… I WILL make you mine.'
*Shing*
*Thud*
Seeing the Bullhead's flight fall under Penny's control, Roman grimaces and turns to run towards the last transport but that was before Penny's head fell off her body as Jae unsheathes his weapon into his pocket.
As Penny lost her head all of her weapons were down Jae didn't hesitate to pins down Penny's body as he grins happily under his mask letting the people hear what he says to them, "Why thank you very much good old doctor Polendina for such a wonderful gift! I shall thank you very much… once I violate your daughter for good…"
*CRACK*
*BZZT*
That was when Jae pierced through her chest aiming for the core inside her that generates her aura as he began to absorb the remaining aura Penny had making her human. But without it, she is just an empty machine that can harbor a soul…
A soul that can be manipulated by him as well give commands under the right commands with his Project Reform Penny once he gets home.
Without Penny in charge, the dust carriage that had Penny's swords was now gone of danger began to get away still having her swords stuck inside. Not wasting an opportunity Jae grabbed the strings and along with Penny's body got a free ride while grabbing her head.
When Jae was done absorbing the aura the body and head of Penny turned off for good along with Penny's personality gone for good, he spoke calmly at her, "There we go Penny you are no longer who you were with your aura gone along with Pietro. Especially as well as how to repair you and implant the aura into your core… Hahaha! I can't wait to have you around my little Penny!"
The villains have escaped via the jet lifts off, flying away from the lost battle as the police reinforcements have come over to see the crew escaped Roman saw the scene with a smile on his face, "Well damn this has been quite the successful mission. I have to say the kid certainly helped out with this endeavor. Great idea I have done adding him to the crew right Neo?"
Neo nodded her head as they view the good guys losing another powerful player…
Turned future enemy…

A/N: Had a lot of fun writing this part of the chapter where the MC finally takes a big move and risk adding further allies for himself. Now that Penny is out of commission and no longer under Atlas and father's control how does this fair for the heroes?
