Chapter 10: Jaedice
~Jae POV~
Today was your normal day at Beacon Academy listening to Nora Valkyrie's unbelievable story to her audience... which is us the students as well as her friends about her grand tale.
Nora then begins to talk trying to be mysterious but as well as actively being interesting at the same time, "So! There we were, in the middle of the night..."
"It was the day."
Nora looks to Blake Belladonna, paying no attention as she is lost in her book, and Yang, who is hanging on her every word with her hands cupping her face as she continues, "We were surrounded by Ursai..."
"They were Beowolves."
Nora then screams this as she stands at the table of both Team RWBY and JNPR, where Weiss is ignoring Nora and filing her nails, Ruby and Pyrrha are listening politely as she speaks, "Dozens of them!"
"Two of 'em."
Ruby and Pyrrha now look at Nora with some interest in her words as I acted to pay attention to them as I still listen, "But they were no match... And in the end, Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of Lien selling Ursa skin rugs!"
Ren sighs at this as he explains to team RWBY about Nora's weird dream she's been having for weeks now, "She's been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now."
That was when Pyrrha started to look at me snapping out of tuning down to Nora's usual banter as I was caught a bit surprised, "Jae? Are you okay there?"
Snapping out of it, turning back toward them I returned to my friendly attitude to them making sure to not worry them, "Huh? Oh, yeah! Sorry about that Pyrrha it's just listening to the same story from Nora I usually tune it out a bit?"
They simply took my words as I was indeed fine. No need for worries for this guy it's just everything has been slow as hell is all. Ugh… I wish to have some action soon since being at school again is a pain.
Glancing around my eyes from the sheer boredom of the academy I look around to finally see something worth my attention as I see the cliché that happens in RWBY fics for chumps like me doing the school route.
My attention is focused on the members of Team CRDL, standing around a girl with brown rabbit ears jutting from her hair as Cardin laughs at her and Sky Lark holds up his hands to his head in a mock interpretation of her unusual features.
How dare those assholes to ruin bunny girl troupes!
Those are just as sacred as messing with cute but sexy catgirls!
These fools dare mess with a potential waifu while a man of culture such as I am around!

Welp time to ruin some careers then. Plus, I can unlock the forest bully event cliché as it is saving the bunny girl, but it also unlocks the path to be allied with Team Coffee. Some teams I happen to require their semblances for.
Cardin Winchester and his group of flunkies have messed with the wrong culture man in the area now bitch. I might be a cold-hearted kind of guy killing his parents for power, but I am also a man of culture damn it!
Plus, it would help my chances of getting on Blakes good side to help out her issues with the Faunus and maybe more once the topics of the White Fang is open. Or get her on as my pawn or something else with her honestly when I get Penny first.
After that go after the cult group The Crown then after if everything goes right or wrong from here...

They all look over as the laughter grows louder, mixed in with cries of pain from the rabbit girl when one of her ears is tugged on by Cardin.
Velvet the bunny waifu in trouble stops struggling and grimaces as she says, "Ow! That hurts! Please, stop..."
Cardin continues laughing as he turns to his cronies like a fool as I began to get going doing my job as a natural human being. Beating the living shit out of asshole racist motherfucker like them their place.
Russel Thrush still guffawing with his teammates nicknaming her a freak as Cardin finally relents, and the girl stands up and hurries off, her head bowed and hiding her face from the watching table of heroes.
Pyrrha started to speak as if doing anything but name-calling as she took notice of me going towards the group, "Atrocious. I can't stand people like him... huh Jae what are –"
Ignoring the obvious question, I mention Cardin bullying Velvet and placed my hand on the guy as he looked annoyed, "What the hell – AHH!"
"Ah what the fucking hell you bastard!?!"
That was when I use my semblance to harden my fingers and poke his eyes in the middle parts of his eyes to cause some vision problems for him in the future. But sadly, that is a maybe or maybe not kind of thing.
But I did get his attention right away from that as I have his clear attention now as I spoke to the guy as he holds his eyes to get his vision again, "Whoops sorry my guy but you see I happen to see a piece of shit today and I couldn't help but mess with him? He's about way big brown hair and has his stupid family emblem of a bird messing with a Faunus girl you know a guy like that shitstain?"
Now I got everyone's attention as I pretty much insulted the bully but clearly, the reactions of my friends seem to be the most affected. To be frank, though I wasn't exactly wrong in this since I am quite cheerful and happy when need be.
Seeing my true side like this must be a total shock of personalities but not my issue if they don't like the way I am.
"You are so- "
Before the cronies could begin to speak I merely closed my eyes and smiled as I dodge their attacks aiming at me as I talk to them casually, "Well sorry mate but you see as a future Huntsmen I happen to be very serious in my work protecting not only humans but Faunus in the process as our job describes. I mean it's not like everyone here can't do something as simple as that right?"
Now, this was a direct jab at the people who thought they can't do anything to help... no like seriously are they fucking retarded or something?
To this, I say absolute bullshit of their stupidity.
We live in a literal post-apocalyptic world where everyone in this cafeteria has a superpower and is trained to become literal mercenaries defending not only humanity but Faunus as well. But whatever my words said surely riled up everyone now.

Or at least some of them since they could feel guilty about that not helping out but hey what can I say their racist views on the world differ completely from my own. I would boldly say I'm the insane one here while everyone is the norm.

While the grunts did their best I merely smiled at the guys as I mock them before giving everyone a reason why they want to be huntsman and huntresses, "Like seriously though I do take my career quite seriously than you chumps. If a guy with highly trained powers and skills can't even do something as basic to help someone out regardless of who they are then I say what the literal fuck have you spent your time here for?"
Now that got the crowd thoughts bubbling as my revolutionary and radical thoughts just made them more guilty about falling for that guilt trip of not helping out. Hell, even Ruby, Pyrrha, Yang, Blake, and the rest are now doubting themselves.
I mean like seriously though Pyrrha and Ruby want to be in this job to help people, right? Then lose the fucking racist views and help out no real reason as to not help your just fucking lazy around if that's the case.
So, while I had the idea of their thoughts might as well stick it to the assholes with one more piece of advice to make them feel like shit and do something in their lives as I spoke passionately about my words fooling the masses, "Like seriously though why the fuck do we let these assholes bully people around and not do shit? Are we just here to fuck around? If so, then you aren't worth much as a huntsman or huntresses if you can't do something as help but hey, I'm in training what do I know what others something can't do as basic as helping an innocent Faunus girl outright?"
That did it.
Managed to piss off a few racist assholes and got more sympathy out of the Faunus as well as those who strive to become huntsman and huntresses. I even managed to get some brown points with Blake as she doubts her reasons for becoming a Huntress in the first place.
Although my words were harsh, they were at least honest plus I don't need those kinds of people to think more or less what to do is right. That and I make sure they die faster to their deaths with no obstacles in my way so that's a win in my book.
Getting tired of their attacks I just go in and hit them under their chins to instantly knock the three goons out as Cardin looks at me furiously as he spoke in rage, "YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU MOCK THE – "
*BAM*
"Ahhhhh!!!!"
Damn that girl-like screeching scream would make anyone cry.
Should've gone for the legs as Nora says what a wasted opportunity shame I can't do it in the open or else I would get some weird understanding with teammates.
Not giving him a damn I went in for the family jewels as his eyes moved to the back of his head as I made sure to harden my aura. The funny thing with my aura is actually when I harden it acts like Armament Haki from One Piece allowing me to get a free pass to my target body without any of those annoying shields protecting him passively I mean.
They can block if they actively try but otherwise, they are free targets for me to hit for me.
*Thud*
Falling on the ground holding his jewels in pain I went forward to Velvet who looks a bit stun by the actions I hand over my hand to her as I asked genuinely honest for her safety acting like a good guy of course, "Now then my classmate is you fine? I mean those bullies had it coming for even doing this kind of shit. Also, my pretty little gal the name is Jae Green, and you are?"
Velvet looked like she got out of her shock as she grabs my hand as raised herself thanking me for the help, "Uh… thank you very much for the help there Jae. But…"
Velvet motions over to her lunch falling as I made no shame or attempt to offer her my own as I talked to her, "Oh you talking about your lunch, right? No worries you can have mine and if the cliché is about to begin in 3… 2… and 1…"
*BOOM*
Coming out from the door to the cafeteria of Beacon Academy was miss Goodbitch coming out looking quite angry at the scene which got the students to gulp, "What happen here! Gasp! Who was the one to attack first at this instance immediately!!!"
Well I could go for the open mocking as everyone in the student body pretty much looked at me as I gestured a mock bow to goodbitch making her eye twitch calling her out much to the shock of my allies, "Sorry miss Goodwitch but these boys here needed to be beaten up by yours truly as you are a very horrible instructor for not keeping the peace of student safety. Truly not very good instructor if you can't manage this much sigh… such a shame."
Now her eyes are twitching in my direction as it was fun getting a rise out of her as she began to speak to me harshly, "Jae Green you and I are going to talk with the Headmaster this instance! We will be discussing your actions attacking Team CRDL and your reasoning immediately."
Seeing that most students back up a bit from fear I casually ignore her as I made sure to reassure the bunny girl while leaving showing no fear whatsoever, "Well then shame we can't properly introduce ourselves but you can hang out with my team by team RWBY they are good people at least to hang around. Now see ya guys hope you enjoy my lunch I'll catch you later!"
Now everyone was looking at me as if I was insane as differing opinions of me occur in their heads as I fearlessly follow Goodbitch to the Headmaster's Office. I have high expectations that I either get suspensions or expel from this school.
Either one works for me since I already got access to the first year's Semblance to sell to the black market faster. That and inspiring those kids while they are so impressionable to die faster by helping others is a good way to weaken any obstacles in my way.
But in the end, it was all worth it as I heard this shiver of thoughts coming from the resident bunny girl using my aura to hear the air space of her thoughts...
'Wow! Someone actually defended me from those bullies that weren't Coco or my teammates but he might get in trouble... I have to know who this guy is so I can thank him properly.'
Bingo.
With that, I just got what I need from this brief encounter what a great day.

A/N: I had a lot of fun with this one with the MC pointing out the flaws of everyone for not defending against racism in the RWBY world. He literally sits next to the MC as they do nothing while the only guy with common sense has something to say about it while trash-talking everyone in the process!
