21 Prelude Before The Academy [2]

After that little episode with my father, I am currently in the house where Franklin and his grandfather lived.

And were currently talking.

"Well how are you right now."

"Thanks to you boss, I have improved my blacksmith and my living situation."

"Well that's good."

Currently Franklin has grown up to be a fine man. He also became more matured than when I've first met him.

"Ohh by the way, Franklin."

"Yes?"

"Can you make me a weapon and upgrade [Grass Cutter] for me."

Well I really need to make [Grass Cutter] to be at least a [D] rank weapon.

"Your still using it?"

"Well it was comfortable to use."

"Well I can't deny it."

"I'll send you a blueprint later for the new weapon I'm planning for you to make."

Though the academy will give you a weapon, but having an extra won't hurt right?

The academy, where all talented humans go, the [Wylcon Academy], name after the first emperor of the empire of [Hughenheim].

The first hero, [Wylcon Hughenheim]

Though the era of the heroes and the golden age has already passed and everyone from that era has already been dead.

Their descendants was still alive.

One example was me and my father, alongside the branch families of the [Valentines]

Our ancestor Elijah Valentine, was among the heroes and the very first [Swordmaster].

Elijah Valentine has a total of 4 main offsprings, the oldest handled the whole Valentines, the second was personally taught by Elijah to become the leader of [Black Vanguards].

The [Black Vanguards] are the most elite forces of the Valentines, the patriach can only be the one to command them.

The third and fourth made their own families thus the branch families has been made.

'I almost forgot that the youngest princess was among the heroines and she was also in my batch.'

"T-This!?"

Waking me out of my stupor, Franklin held the blueprint that I've personally made.

His surprise was evident on his face.

"Why?"

"Isn't this a firearms?!"

"Well yeah, why?"

"Are you really sure about this?"

Well I can understand his surprise, firearms or guns was basically the weakest among the weapons in here, most especially that this world was already producing mana.

'But well who said that it will be a normal gun.'

From being a soldier to a villain once, guns was always by my side.

Franklin just stayed silent, due to him being busy once again. In his time in the duchy, he was always selling weapons to the knights, in which the knights also bought for at least 1 gold.

'Well with the endless amount of money this duchy holds, it's not a mystery to why those soldiers have golds.'

Taking out something from my ring I quickly summoned [Grass Cutter] and the [Potion of Birth].

"Here, the potion was for your grandfather."

"Trust me it will effect this time."

"O-Ok?"

During these past years, Franklin always bought high end healing potion, from auctions or from alchemists.

He always tried his chances.

"Well if there's nothing more, I will go first."

"Ok boss."

After meeting Franklin, I immediately go to where my father was.

"So what was your rank right now?"

Currently me and my my father was in the same room earlier.

"Well how about you find it out."

"Release your aura then."

"Brace yourself."

I released my aura that has a Purple blueish tinge within it.

"Ho? to think that in 3 years you'll be a [F-] rank huh, now that's a good progress you got there."

Lowering down my aura, I can't help but regret but not take that mugong.

'I should have hoarded that first.'

'Well I will just get that alongside the sword arts, later in the academy.'

One of the reason why I didn't get ranked up too much was that I'm too focused on hoarding the classes and the items.

Looking at straight to the eye of my father, I continued.

I raised my voice unconsciously because of not for that fruit, I would have been a trash and I will not even survive in this world.

Lorecraig was a place in the southern part of the empire, it was govern by the duke of Arangis.

It was a place full of wars and chaos.

"B-But why?"

"I've offended too many people during the times of war, and not just in the times of war even now I'm still a target of envy and hatred, so who knows why...."

He made a grief stricken face only for it to change into a very cold one.

"But one thing for sure, They will all die miserably."

I can't help but get my legs weakened, due to the massive force of killing intent my father emits.

'Earlier's aura was a joke compared to this.'

After seeing that I can't breath, he took back his aura

"My apologies....But to my surprise, when are you going to say that you've broken the curse?"

"Well do you think I would fail to notice?"

I suddenly remembered how my aura emits.

And so I've tell him all of my adventures, though I left out the hoarding part.

After a few hours of talk with my father, I've already arrived in the mansion.

'Hmm? looks like both Winter and Rebecca has fallen asleep.'

I made them roam and guard the duchy for in case of betrayal that was gonna happen.

'Though I believe everyone here has already signed a contract.'

A magic contract are types of contract that has either an equal or one sided conditions.

It was powered with mana. One can't break it it will only be broken if one of the participants died or the contract has been fulfilled.

'But well from knights, maids, and even the chefs has signed the contract.'

After making them scattered I immediately go through my room.

I also reminded both Rebecca and Winter to sleep in one of the rooms in the mansion.

After entering the room I immediately took a bath and wore a sleepwear for nobles.

I started to think what will happen in a few months from now.

"I just hope my days will be peaceful."

As I said that I've looked at a box in the table only saying the words.

After Edward left, Edwin stayed at his room and a bluish black silhouette was can be seen within his back.

"So your saying, that my son has a dragon's scent within him?"

"Yes."

"Hmm?"

"It wasn't just dragon's scent, rather his veins and eyes and even some parts of his heart seems to be like akin to a dragon."

"Even his past arrogant and naive demeanor was nowhere to be seen, it was replaced with a calm one."

The silhouette said while looking at the door where edward left.

"He must have gotten the [Dragon Veins] in his adventures."

"Yes that can only be the explanation, I as a dragon who also has a dragon vein of course can detect one that was in the same species as I."

"Well looks like he became stronger huh?"

"Yes he have."

The silhouette walk through the light only to reveal a black and blue hair, dark blue eyes, horns and even a small tail within his back.

He wore a black and blue suit and dark slacks.

"Taefdom, what was the movement within the place I've told you."

If Edward was here he would have been surprised.

Taefdom the [Calamity Dragon], Edwin Valentine's Beast companion and longtime friend.

One of the game's most notable side character as well.

"There's still no sign of movement."

Edwin's face scrunched, with the news Taefdom delivered

'It was already 5 years and still no movement?'

"Well you don't have to think too much about it, how about spending your time with your son, before he go within the academy."

Edwin's face evoked a smile.

"Well your right."

He opened one of the cabinets in his room only to see an image with 3 figures within it.

One was a baby, and the other 2 are couples

Edwin make a melancholic face seeing this last memory he have with his wife and lover.

"Cecilia, looks like our little son has grown to be a good man."

He muttered with a smile while Taefdom also smiled at his companion.
