The Anfang Alliance started hating the divine faiths of that time because of their complete lack of interest. This was despite the fact that divine faiths were responsible for Anfang's precarious condition in the first place.
The Anfang Alliance had decided that it would get rid of all the divine faiths once it settled matters with the foreign invaders. And eventually, it did.
Later down the line, a major culling took place and various faiths disappeared from this world. Anfang became known as the land of the faithless because of the alliance's hardline stand against the gods."
