1 Chapter 1: Birth of two stars

Divine Spirit World, Southern Continent, Azure Mountain

It was late in the night, and rain was pouring down from the heaven. There were many majestic buildings shining brightly in the dark night. There are two leading village on the mountain, alongside many smaller ones: Mountainview Village, headed by Wang family, Wang Jinlong, and Tranquil Vale Village, headed by Li family, Li Minghui.

Li family Mansion, core area

In the dimly lit chamber, silence fell as the newborn entered the world, devoid of cries. The mother's tired gaze met the father's anxious eyes, both awaiting for the sound of baby's first cry. Yet, only a sigh lingered. But, looking at the healthy son, the coupled took a deep breath, and their initial anxiousness swept away.

Amidst the thunderous echo of rain, Li Minghui's rejoiced voice echoed "Haha, worthy of my, Li Minghui's son, You will be known as Li Gang", his voice resounding with determination and hope for the child's courageous future.

Li Gang was scanning his surrounding with his shocked little eyes. I transmigrated! I never thought, I would transmigrate one day. But why? Why me? What about my family in other world? my parents? He was filled with sadness, as he started thinking about various things.

This world is Divine Spirit World, a vast world, divided into five continents: Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western and Central Continent; surrounded by vast sea, similar to Earth but on much larger scale and different geographical structure, not spherical like Earth. Any normal human born here are genetically stronger than one's born on Earth. This may be due to the environment, and especially spiritual essence which dominates this world.

It is rumoured that there are 9 heavens, where Gods reside, who shine light every 12 hours, causing day and night. There are various kinds of calendars in this world, most popular one being 1 year = 12 months, 1 month = 30 days. In other words, 1 year = 360 days. There are also other calendars, like one says 1 year = 100 days, with each month = 10 days, there is one which says 1 year = 1000 days with each month = 100 days. But they are only in minorities, and not popular.

In this world, everyone is born with their inherit talents called Spiritual Imprint, which is engraved in their own soul. There are 9 levels of Cultivation: Warrior rank 1 to Warrior rank 9. There are also many professions like Alchemists (those who refine pills), Forgers (those who refine weapons) and so on. Li family is known for their Wood Spiritual Imprint. They are rich in vitality. Even though soul imprint is engraved into one's soul, it also has connection to the body the soul wears, and is able to affect the body to a certain extent.

1 week later, Li family mansion

Guests from entire Azure Mountain are gathered to congratulate the Village head for the birth of his eldest and only son. Li Minghui was very happy and entertained every guest. Song Yunlan was breastfeeding her son, Li Gang. Meanwhile many village women were gathered and there was 'women' discussion going on.

Li Gang couldn't understand a word, but may be because of child instinct, he was still listening every word carefully. When a new child is born, his learning rate is tremendously high, but it also decreases as the child grows. Experience allows a person to gain certain understanding of different kinds of people. Li Gang was a college graduate in his previous life. He was very skilled in Mathematics and Science.

Few hours later, after serving the guests, Li Minghui went to the platform for which he invited everyone. To test the aptitude of his son!

Silence filled the mansion. Everyone was looking forward to the aptitude of Li family's young master, some with great anticipation, some with expectation, some with hidden hostility. Li Minghui took his son, and went to the platform. Four pillars surrounded the platform, and in the middle a spherical shaped object was placed, around the size of watermelon. It was known as Wisdom Gauge Stone, used to measure the talent of a person. Using a needle, Li Minghui pricked his son's index finger, and let it bleed over the Wisdom Gauge Stone.

A bright light flashed, and some character appeared on the Stone. Li Gang couldn't identify the character, but he could anticipate what was going on. He could feel some sort of ceremony was happening, but when the bright light flashed, he was shocked. He realized, things weren't so simple. This world has some supernatural powers, or it may be some advanced technology which was built somewhat different from Earth, using different elements.

Li Minghui's expression turned stiff as soon as he saw the character on the Wisdom Gauge Stone. It was a D grade aptitude. There are 6 grades of talents: E, D, C, B A, S in increasing order.

E grade: One could reach maximum of rank 2 Warrior.

D grade: One could reach maximum of rank 4 Warrior.

C grade: One could reach maximum of rank 6 Warrior.

B grade: One could reach maximum of rank 7 Warrior.

A grade: One could reach maximum of rank 8 Warrior.

S grade: One could reach maximum of rank 9 Warrior.

Li Minghui is rank 5 Warrior, with C grade talent. He is already at the limit of his cultivation. Even if one has C-grade talent, it doesn't mean one can reach rank 6. A C-grade can only reach rank 5, and those who give a lot of effort can enter rank 6. To even achieve rank 6 peak with C-grade talent, one has to work hard day and night, month after month, and year after year. Only then they can do so. But these data are only based on Warriors with corresponding Spiritual Imprint. Spiritual Imprint is most important in determining one's Cultivation talent, followed by Aptitude! Though in most cases, the Spiritual Imprint is of similar level as Aptitude, hence this situation arises and is well spoken in this world. 

There have also been exceptions, who defied this norm, and surpassed the said rank limited by aptitude! There are many miracles in this world, may be even reaching rank 9 without talent of a Warrior is possible. But, no one knows, as this has never happened in history of the World, or at least no one knows any such thing.

Realistically speaking, Li Gang could only reach 3. Thus, Li Minghui was quite disappointed at the outcome, but at the same time Mountainview Village head Wang Jinlong was secretly rejoicing at his competitor's misfortune.

Bouquet soon came to an end. Even though result was disappointing, Li Minghui didn't think too much of it, after all, Li Gang was his only son and even he only got grade C talent.

2 years later

 A cry of baby sounded in the same room where Li Gang was born. As soon as the baby was born, a large amount of spiritual essence was sucked in the room, leading to huge commotion. Looking at the huge momentum, Li Minghui was shocked and rejoiced at the same time. Li Minghui named him "Li Yuxuan".

Li Gang looked at his little brother and his father with his deep eyes, without showing any emotion. In the last two years, he had been completely isolated. Being around 30 years old in his previous life, he didn't like the way everyone tried to tease him, at the same time, he was completely bored, since he didn't know their language. But soon, just within 6 months, he was able to comprehend everything and speak fluently. At the same time, he was able to walk when he was 8 months old. Everyone was shocked at his talent. But then, they felt pity for his lack of future. 

In the last one year, he had been reading various books, to increase his knowledge of the world. Now, he knows nearly everything that he could in those books. After all, the rate of learning of small child is far beyond an adult. But, they also forget things as they grow adult. Thus, with the maturity and memory of an adult and learning ability of a child, Li Gang became a genius that defied common sense. He also knew why people surrounding him make that kind of expression when seeing him.

Few days later, the talent identification ceremony was held. Li Minghui watched at the Wisdom Guage Stone with anticipation after dripping the blood of his son.

S grade! 

Li Minghui was shocked and excited after looking at the the character that appeared. Wang Jinlong was gloomy at the outcome. He was aware of what this outcome means. It may cause Li family to completely oppress Wang family. But, surprisingly, he was not too depressed. 

Meanwhile, Li Minghui raised Li Yuxuan and announced, "He will be the future Village head of Tranquil Vale Village". Li Gang was looking at everything silently, without any emotion. He didn't truly care about the position of Village head, and it may even hinder him in future. 

After this, bouquet ended, and guests left one after another.
