1 Prologue

A boy has been born!"

"Rian Yang will be his name."

It's a fitting name for a future blacksmith."

In the year 1400, Rian Yang was born on the 23rd of the 5th month.

Rian stared at his father without crying, unaware of what kind of family he was born into.

...

King Gulliver ordered a wizard to determine if Rian had any talent for forging weapons at the age of 4.

"Oh my!" exclaimed the Wizard

"What's wrong?" Rian's father asked worriedly.

The wizard replied, "It appears that this boy is not talented enough to forge weapons for the king."

"Damn it!" Rian's father shouted.

Rian smiled optimistically. "At least it's not zero talent, Father!" he said.

Rian's Father patted his son's head and replied, "You're right, my son.".

After turning 8 years old, Rian began his training to become a master blacksmith for the next 4 years, not wanting to disappoint his father and King Gulliver.

...

The sound of breathless counting could be heard throughout the palace, and 12-year-old Rian would be making the noise.

"99!"

"100!" Rian shouted.

In an attempt to slow down his heart rate and regain his breath, Rian lies on the ground for a while. A thought crosses Rian's mind as he lies down.

Since I was 8, I have been doing it every day. My training has been so intense for the past 4 years, and for what? What is the reason for it? Is it to protect someone?

No, no, no! For the purpose of proving a point. In spite of the fact that I do not possess a talent for forging items, I can still become someone valuable and meaningful despite my lack of forging skills.

Rian's thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.

Rian says, "Come in.".

Rian's father reminded him, "It's time to see how much you can accomplish in the workshop."

A bright smile spread across Rian's face.

"I won't let you down!" Rian declared with excitement.
