Chapter 2

Victor spent most of Sunday morning pacing around his room. He was excited to finally get a girlfriend. He wondered what she looked like. Would she wear red? Purple? Or maybe something darker like blue? He imagined that she would look good in black jeans. And a tank top? Definitely a tank top. He sighed happily thinking about everything he would be wearing in bed tonight.

His excitement died instantly when he remembered that Lila was going to be there. She was definitely going to try and take advantage of him. He was afraid that she might try to sleep on his chest or something equally uncomfortable and embarrassing, however, he found himself hoping that she was going to kiss him. At least for a moment. Maybe afterwards she would laugh at him and tell him that it was a joke before leaving. That wouldn't suck too badly, but he knew that he would probably never see her again and all hope would die.

Victor ran his hand through his hair trying not to panic and failing miserably. He felt like he was going to pass out when he remembered that Lila was going to be sleeping with him. After everything that had happened the last few weeks he was sure that he was going to freak out if he thought about anything remotely sexual for longer than three minutes. But he needed a reason to sleep next to her.

He decided that he should start preparing for that evening and hoped that the rest of the weekend would be better because there was no way he was going to let Lila take advantage of him. If he was going to lose his virginity tonight he was going to do it well.

Once school was over he went home and did his homework. Then he went to bed thinking about Lila's smile, her freckles, and soft hair. Even though she was annoying, he still enjoyed spending time with her and hoped that she didn't hate him once they became best friends.

Victor woke up bright and early the next day. He had been having nightmares about Lila hurting him and he couldn't stand the idea of her laughing at him and telling everyone how weak and pathetic he was. So he quickly got dressed in his nicest clothes and made sure he was packed for the day.

Then he went out to eat lunch alone at his usual spot. He ate quietly and tried to keep his mind focused solely on his meal. He finished his food faster than usual though and decided to take a walk instead.

He decided to go downtown to visit Lila's house because he couldn't imagine being in her apartment without seeing her every day.
