Chapter 12

A loud crash broke the peace which had settled upon the room as the door slammed shut and a young girl stormed into the room, followed by a tall young boy. The girl stormed over to the couch and plopped down hard with her legs stretched out in front of her and crossing angrily. He placed them on the table next to his phone before picking up the small white bottle. "This is a prescription I received yesterday. Normally I would never have taken these, but as you can see, I am a little underprepared for my new condition right now."

"Oh...um..right." Alex mumbled, suddenly extremely self conscious. The last thing he wanted was to be caught taking his grandfather'
