Chapter 44 - Beach Time!

After the events of the Dare, other students had been called since the bear incident and went to their room. Everybody was tired and Risa hadn't yet formed a plan for Inviting Haruto and decided to do it the next day.

Haruto met up with Kenichi and Rito, finding out that the former had met up with Izumi Yuuka and Rito simply got lost but seemed to have something in mind. He ignored it and simply called it a day.

The next day, everyone were at the beach with eyes on Haruto seeing his body that was muscular and athletic compared to his peers while Kenichi isn't far in muscle gain.

"Holy shit, I knew you were ripped but damn boy! What have they been feeding you! You could grind cheese on your abs!" Risa touched his muscle amazed by how hard it was.

"I should have brought a camera..." Mio had a certain glint in her eyes seeing the perfect physique that Haruto displayed that was like the pinnacle of a man. He wasn't wearing his blindfold since it would be annoying if it gets wet and opted to close his eyes.

"Hey, can you lift me up with one arm?" Risa asked.

"Sure?" Haruto easily lifted her up using his right arm without any effort.

"Woah!" She was surprised by how effortlessly he did that, and she almost lost her balance, so she grabbed his head to stabilize. She then looked around with a big smile.

"Hey, can I be next?" Mio asked a bit envious seeing her friend get the chance to get close to Haruto. She still can't stop thinking about how he saved from the Bear attack.

"Why wait." He crouched and lifted her as well. He was now two girls sitting on his arms as the rest of the class was looking at them

"It looks fun! Me too, me too!" Lala jumped, finding a place behind my head. She was sitting between Risa and Mio, and all three seemed to have fun. Holding them up didn't require a lot of strength, so he didn't care much, and it felt kinda good to flex these muscles before others.

"Hey, can you lift me too?" Miu asked to see harem having fun remembering the time when her grandfather did the same.

"No problem!" Haruto said as he started to have fun as well and had Risa come down then to go find her phone to take some pictures. He noticed Kenichi doing the same thing with Izumi who blushed and Haruto couldn't believe that he actually succeeding in getting her.

'Nice Kenichi. Hope my brother can be more like you.' Haruto was unaware that Haruna liked him and not Rito. After a while, he let them down, but he was not ready for other girls to ask him the same thing. So he spent some time just lifting up girls while the boys looked at him with jealousy. Risa was together with Haruna and Mio, and they started pushing Haruna in his direction.

"Come on, don't be shy. It's fun!" Risa tempting her.

"I don't think it's a good idea." Haruna was blushing a bit seeing Haruto shirtless.

"You're right, it's a great idea. Now come on and let him do his job." Risa stated while Haruto blankly looked at her.

"Since when was it my job?" He said while Risa patted his back.

"Since today." Haruto was hesitant to see his brother but in the end, he lifted Haruna. She was holding his head, scared of falling from his arm. Rito, on the other hand, was looking at the unfolding events. He frowned, disliking that he is not only unable to confess but also has been haunted by the nightmare recently.

As he was planning to lower himself so Haruna could jump off his arm, someone approached him with an angry look on her face.

"Haruto Yuuki!" And there she is the one and only killjoy.

"How can you show such a shameless display on a public beach!!?" Yui stated while Haruto tilted his head.

"What do you mean by shameless?" He seriously doesn't know why she is making a big deal out of it.

"I mean the whole this!" She was pointing at his whole body, but as Haruna was still on his arm, it didn't help much.

"You mean my body or Haruna sitting on my arm?" Haruto pointed at himself then to Haruna.

"Both!!!" She shouted in frustration. Goodness gracious girl are you in your period!?

"You're angry at me for wearing a swimsuit on a beach?" Haruto slowly lowered himself to let Haruna down who appreciated what he did.

"Yes... I mean no! Why are you lifting up, girls!?" Yui was getting on his nerves if it wasn't for his control over himself then he would lash out.

"Because they asked me to lift them?" Haruto almost tried talking with her

"Why did you comply!?" Yui asked, almost demanding.

"Why shouldn't I? We just had some fun." It was the beach, not bitch. And she acts like one.

"There's a lot of skin contact between you and the girls, which is unacceptable for a girl and boy your age." Yui said while Haruto sighed and almost opened his eyes.

"Kotegawa, this place is where you relax and have fun. If you keep acting this place then you shouldn't have come. Other businesses are not your business. Normally I don't get angry but I am." Haruto said firmly that it made her feel guilty and never expected that he would make him angry since he's the type that would be carefree.

"Stop ruining people's chance to enjoy their youth because someday everyone will grow up and won't be able to have this chance to create memories like this." It was a fact that everyone would have to grow up and face the cruel side of the world but even then it doesn't mean they couldn't enjoy the moment while it lasted. The pain stricken face of Yui realized that he was right and Haruto stepped away from her.

"I know you're the head of the school disciplinary committee. But please tone it down a bit will yah. The way your acting will drive people away from you." Haruto wanted to say more but his words were enough to make Yui rethink her actions.

"I…" Yui was about to say something but Haruto left where she simply saw his disappearing back and realized that she made a mistake. Her heart aches for some reason seeing him angry at her.

Haruto went to look around where he saw Kenichi rizzing up Izumi and he smiled then went to find something to eat. Fortunately the food was prepaid and he got some grilled squid and shrimp. He got his meal and watched as Lala played with Miu and Haruna as Mio and Risa were taking pictures.

"Why are you here all alone?" He heard a voice turn to find Ryouko Mikado wearing a two piece swimsuit. She looked at his body and how it seemed irresistible noticing how his muscles had changed.

"Uhmm, why are you touching my body?" Haruto asked as he felt her hand inspecting his body.

"Hmmm, in two months and half yet your body has become beyond healthy." Ryouko had never seen a human evolve this past and felt that he was releasing some kind of pheromones that made him even more attractive.

"It makes me lonely when you haven't visited me." She was teasing him abit and Haruto shook his head.

"I've been busy, next time I'll come by when I get the chance." Haruto said and she smiled then sat next to him watching him eat his mela like it was nothing.

"I notice your body has greatly changed not just in physicality but in biology as well." Ryouko said as he noticed that his eyes were closed.

"And why are you hiding your eyes? Did something happen?" She was a school nurse and doctor was normal for her to be concerned.

"Ah, well, I just thought it might be kind of distracting but since no one and only you then I don't mind showing it." Ryouko was surprised that he was able to tell that there was only one in the shack. He showed his eyes and Ryouko was taken aback a bit seeing them.

"That's certainly interesting, is your vision the same as before?" Ryouko asked.

"Better actually, I can somewhat see through a person's skin and picture their muscles. I somehow unlocked the full potential of the human body." Haruto said and was nonchalant since Ryouko is a doctor and has their confidential ethics.

"You're truly different compared to other earthlings." Ryouko said, looking at his entire being and someone in a flirtatious demeanor.

"Well, everyone is different and that's what makes them the same." Haruto said leaning a bit acting carefree watching everyone enjoy themselves noticing Yui stop harassing everyone who were having fun even saw her take a glance at him clearly ashamed of what she did.

"Did you two have a fight?" Ryouko asked, noticing him and Yui seeing how bashful she was acting.

"Kind of, she keeps messing with everyone who is just here to have fun. I mean can't she see that we won't get the same chance like this in the future?" Haruto stated since he never was this mad after he reformed himself and had better control with his emotions but Yui kept getting on his nerves and other people.

"I'm also worried that she is overstressing herself with too many things that people might start harassing her for acting this way." Haruto knows that she gets too out of hand and someone who kind of understands what she is like worries for her safety.

"I think so too but I know you'll somehow help mellow her a bit with your charm." Ryouko said while Haruto gave a fake laugh.

"Funny….I doubt she will fall for me when I like things to be free and do whatever the hell I want." Haruto recalled the old man who beat him up and reformed him. He can't remember it exactly but knew the person was strong.

"And I already have Lala and honestly it still surprises a few gir—wait why am I even telling you this?" Haruto was confused why he started sharing things with Ryouko who giggled at his reaction.

"No need to be shy, I won't judge you and can't lie that I'm also interested in you." Ryouko said nonchalantly and he was a bit surprised by this, hoping that she was just teasing him.

"Stop joking, you're a teacher and I'm a student." Haruto said.

"Isn't that the best part?" Ryouko jokingly said while Haruto almost choked on his food.

"Back on topic, I think you did the right thing and she'll soon come around." She said and Haruto nodded, finishing his meal.

"So, aren't you going to take a dip?" Haruto asked and Ryouko smiled, joining him on the beach. After some time, Haruto played some volleyball and helped the dolphin who was shown to steal everyone's bikini. Eventually, the day came to an end and they headed back to their rooms to call it a day.

"Haruto, can you join us later? We are planning on playing some games and other stuff." Risa asked, seeing the golden opportunity.

"Sure, I can sneak without noticing." Haruto did learn some stealth skills from Shigure and his [ Concealed Presence ] helps in those regards.

"Then we will be waiting!" Mio said as everyone headed back to wash themselves and remove the salt water from their body.

'I need to visit Lala's room that she's staying at.' Haruto often does quests in miscellaneous stuff but the rewards are small and doesn't hold much.

Haruto was unsure what to think of the reward since it would be a great help in knowing his relationship with others. He decided to accept things and face it like a man.
