31 Chapter 31 - I'm the Devil

Haruto receives information about the happenings of Ragnarok learning that Kisara had been promoted to Fist League which are powerful and top members in Ragnarok that lead the gang as a whole. He acquired some information about Kisara and how strong she was. Haruto was interested in fighting her and seeing how he'll against her. At the moment, Haruto was walking home alongside Lala, Miu and Kenichi.

"I will never acknowledge that someone like you is in the league Eight fist league!? Doesn't Ragnarok's ranking only get decided by 'pure skills'?" a voice came from the abandoned park towards the left side of Miu and Haruto.

The one who spoke was a boy with hairs like Mophead and Haruto knew that it must be Shinnosuke Tsuji. Kenichi quickly hide in fear not wanting to fight him while Haruto could see

"Exactly. That's why I was selected....." Kisara said with a hint of superiority that annoyed Tsuji.

"Say What?" He said gritting his teeth in anger.

"But anyways, it looks like your troops have decreased a lot. If you were waiting for me to walk into a trap, your numbers are a bit pathetic....." Kisara said.

"We are the personal guard of Captain Tsuji!" One of his lackey said.

"All other bastards deserted us, for other gangs, because of the spies that you have sent." The other chimed in defending their leader.

"You think I would do such a petty thing....*sigh* They would never believe me anyways..." Kisara said.

"Enough talk, let's end it once and for all right here!! I won't go easy on you just because you are a girl" Tsuji said

"A girl....? What so you mean easy..?" Kisara asked. It was evident that Tsuji's words made her angry and at that moment Haruto stepped forward dragging Kenichi with him.

"Why! Haruto-Nii! Why are you dragging me here!" Kenichi struggled to escape Haruto who sent him to Tsuji.

"You two have a score to settle. Kenichi-chan, fight him." Haruto said while everyone was surprised by their sudden appearance then Kisara looked at him.

'Haruto? Hmmm he looks better than the photo we had.' Kisara thought to herself.

"You! You were lucky that you were saved by Takeda or else I would win! Let's settle it right now!" Tsuji said rushing towards Kenichi who wasn't on board fighting but Haruto wasn't allowed to run away and force to fight.

"You're Haruto Yuuki? I heard a lot from you and said you don't hit them yet still defeat all of them. I want to test your skills." Kisara was ready to fight him while Kenichi saw this.

"Haruto-Nii! Are you really going to fight a girl!?" Kenichi's aid offends Kisara.

"Shut up! She's a fighter and she's tryin' to prove something. I don't care if she's a girl or a baby or somebody's grandmother. I'll still knock her out." Haruto roared in annoyance at him and Kisara was surprised that he didn't underestimate her.

'I need to fight Kisara with Taekwondo.' Haruto muttered while receiving a quest.

[ Reward: 500 QP ]

He saw the reward and wasn't complaining since it was reasonable anyway. Haruto prepared himself to fight her.

"You're a strange one, Haruto Yuuki. Now let me see how good you are." Kisara moved and did a swift roundhouse kick that Haruto matched with his own, surprising her as the two stepped back.

"You…you know Taekwondo!?" She was surprised that her opponent would have the same style as her.

"No, I'm an all-rounder. Don't think I'm underestimating you but I want to also test myself." Haruto gave a charismatic smile courtesy of his new skills and she gave a weak laugh.

"Then let's continue." Kisara leapt into the air and did an Axe kick where Haruto stepped back flipping down and did a kick upward that managed to hit Kisara but only graze her.

'She's a lot more nimble than I thought.' Haruto thought to himself, seeing that she was quite skilled for someone like her. She likely had a lot of experience fighting stronger opponents and overcoming them with her skills and flexibility.

"Huh, not bad. But you have to do better than that!" Kisara said moving, delivering a series of kicks towards Haruto who countered each of them.

'What is this guy! He's copying every attack I send!' She thought. Haruto was learning and growing since most of his teachers were focused on the hands rather than feet. Apachai does help but he also uses his fist and elbows. Kisara blocked when Haruto sent a Back kick numbing her arms.

"Don't take this to heart, but I'm simply stronger than you. And I am not saying this because I'm being arrogant but simply stating facts." Haruto said.

"That said, I would fight you again when you get even stronger." Kisara gritted her teeth in annoyance and sigh.

"It's my defeat. But next time I'll win." She said walking over to her back and kicking it.

"Wait, I want to ask if you are still going to punish Takeda and Ukita for quitting?" Haruto asked hoping they wouldn't but Kisara looked at him.

"Sorry, but it's out of my control. Someone who deserted Ragnarok needs to be punished." She soon left and Haruto was a bit annoyed but decided not to say anything. The only way to stop them is to save Takeda if he's ever in trouble.

At the moment, Haruto had finished training at Ryozanpaku and was heading home. Kenichi obviously wasn't him since he was now a disciple. It was Worth noting that he often let Ghislaine have rest not wanting to disturb her often and normally trained alone on what she had taught him.

"What should I do!" A voice came as Haruto saw a young woman with straight medium-length hair, worried eyes with dark rings around them, a moderately-sized bosom and a generally despairing expression on her face. She looked exhausted and leaning on the ledge of a bridge.

"Excuse me? Are you alright?" Haruto knew who she was. She was Such Mihino, a minor character in Kengan Ashura and Omega. Mihono was just a completely normal university student until her father, the previous CEO of Suoh Steelworks, suddenly died.

In accordance with his will, she was appointed the new CEO. However, soon after her inauguration, the world was struck by the biggest global financial crisis of the century, with Suoh Steelworks taking the brunt of the recession and the company receiving a sharp downturn which continued to fall even after the financial crisis settled down. She looked at Haruto, surprised by his sudden appearance and saw that he looked rather good looking.

"Sorry, if I'm disturbing you but you look troubled and need some help." Even without knowing her, Haruto wouldn't sit ideally and not help in ways he can. Suoh slumped down and shook her head.

"No, it's fine. I-I just don't know what to do going on with my life." Suoh began to rant about how her life had completely shifted and had many debts that needed to be repaid.

"I see, well, I don't know much about business happening but things will be well." Haruto said, leaning on the ledge looking at the vast ocean.

"I know being optimistic won't make the problem go away but so does being pessimistic. The only difference is that you'll have the courage to give it when you are optimistic." Haruto had a friendly and hopeful smile towards her that surprised Suoh and even blush affected by his charismatic leadership under his [ Leadership Mastery ].

"...maybe you're right. At the very least I fought till the end, right?" Suoh weakly smile that looked rather cute in Haruto's eyes and nodded as it was at that moment a van pulled up where they turned to see a group of people getting out with bats and swords.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" A man who looked to be their leader looked at Suoh who looked scared seeing him.

"Who are you?" Haruto asked knowing the obvious answer since Suoh is in debt and most likely had some money for local Yakuza.

"Aren't you brave? You see we are someone that young lady owes and here to collect our debts." He said, scaring Suoh, realizing what's going to happen to her.

"Wait! He has nothing to do with me! Let him go and I'll come with you, just don't hurt him!" Suoh stepped in front of Haruto, surprising him.

'She's quite brave….I need to save and help Suoh Minoho.' Haruto mutters and a panel screen pops up.

Haruto saw the reward and glad that it was his quest since he can brainwash them to become better people and help the community instead of killing them. He would force them to confess their crimes and donate every money to the people they wronged.

"I appreciate you're comcern but." Haruto touch her shoulder stepping forward in front of her surprising Suoh as Haruto counted around 50 thugs with bars and knifes.

"Can't turn a blinds eye to this. Not to mention, I'm itching for some warm up." He said where the thugs laughed at his words.

"Hahahaha he thinks he's some sort of hero?" The leader mock him seeing how ridiculous it is then hear Haruto laughed along side them.

"Hahahaha yeah I'm no hero because." He rushed and beat the one walking towards him instantly knocking them out like it was nothing, producing a sound like a gunshot causing the thugs to change their demeanor and was astonished.

"...I'm the Devil." Haruto proceeded to perform a back kick pushing them toward the other group then grabbed one of their heads and slammed it into the ground before flipping and kicking them using [ Capoeira ].

"You Bastard!" Haruto was about to get stabbed only for him to twist his body and disarm his opponent knocking them in a single strike. Only been exactly 5 minutes since the fight had started and every single one of them.

'H-How can someone move like that!?' Suoh who witnessed it all could only describe it to hell on earth where each one of them were knocked out with a single strike, if not then they would hit each other barely scratching their opponent.

Every single one is unable to touch and we're falling like flies. Haruto finds their moment to be sloppy and slow, clearly all only been fighting in the streets.

"Thanks for the warm up…oh right you fainted." Haruto said standing over the man who was their leader had pissed them off, unable to understand that a single person younger than them was able to defeat them.

"Well, are you alright?" He turned to Suoh who was in awe looking at the unconscious bodies on the ground. They weren't much of a challenge with his [ Tachypsychia ] that made everything slow down.

"Y-Yes, how about you!? Are you hurt?" Suoh worried that somehow was wounded during his fight but Haruto shook his head.

"Nah, I'm stronger than these cannon fodders." Haruto said as he checked the description of the skills.

[ Description: The person can brainwash an individual or a group of people. Unless the person is strong willed or resistant to hypnosis then no one would be able to break free from it. ]

He inwardly nodded seeing the usefulness of the skills and proceeded to brainwash them feeling a bit tired relying on energy to use the skills but didn't care as he finished changing their memory and gave them command.

"By the way, I think it's best we get out of here before they wake up." Haruto said and Suoh saw him run quickly following him far away letting the Yakuza wake up on their own as the two find a place to sit down.

"Thank you for helping me." Suoh bowed down, thanking him as Haruto shook his head.

"It's fine, anyway, now that you're safe, I need to go." Haruto was about to leave when suddenly.

"Wait, what's your name? Mine is Suoh Mihono." She stopped him and Haruto turned.

"Haruto, Haruto Yuuki." Haruto said as Suoh walked over to him and handed a card.

"Please take this. I want to hire you for something. If you ever consider accepting then please call me." Suoh said as Haruto nodded.

As he was heading home suddenly stopped when he sensed something and turned to an alleyway where he found someone who he didn't expect to meet. It was a handsome tan-skinned man of above-average height and has an extremely athletic build.

His most notable trait is his mop of messy, dark hair that has been compared to seaweed. In addition, The man possesses a narrow gaze that exudes both confidence and general indifference.

Haruto felt that he hadn't felt before for a long time. Someone that he wanted to fight. Not just fight but win! Their gaze met and he looked curious but became disinterested. The person was none other than Ohma Tokita.

"You, do you want to fight?"
