Chapter 27 - Another Date

After being beaten by Haruto, Koga had returned to their headquarters where he was kicked by a young beautiful young girl of average height. She has fair skin, full lips, and bright green eyes. She sports a slender frame with a fairly small bust size and has an older b/f Tashiro, curvy hips and round buttocks. She also has well defined muscularly toned legs.

"Didn't.... I tell you to bring back Haruto and his brother?" said Kisara lying down on her seat.

"Wait L-Let me explain Kisara!" said Koga while holding his bleeding mouth.

"When I was going around, I met his young brother and we managed to beat him since he refused to come with us. When we were going to beat him was the time our target Haruto came…." Koga paused, recalling how they were easily dominated without much problem and hardly hit them but still took their attacks like it was nothing.

"And what!?" Kisara asked, seeing Koga rather frightened, the same happening to those who tried to help.

"We hit him with everything we got yet he simply took it then…I don't know what happened we were all on the ground." Koga said while Kisara was disappointed at the outcome.

"Anyways your punishment for disobeying orders and sending your entire subordinate to the hospital will be heavy! you 3 don't have to come to Ragnarok for a while!" Shiratori said, Kisara's principal lieutenant.

"Ok" said Ukita, shutting Koga's mouth with his hand and following behind Takeda who has already reached the door.

"Haruto Yuuki.... he must be manlier than I thought," said Kisara lightly, which was only heard by Shiratori.

As a child, Lala led a very mixed lifestyle, having the company of her robots, sisters and her child friend. However, she also underwent something of a refusal to have a real childhood. Having a mother that was almost never around, constantly having to be taught things she had no interest in against her will and being 'raised' by her father who never spent any time with her, she greatly longed for a pent-up need to express herself creatively and happily to overcome such underwhelming and even traumatic instances, which more than likely resulted in her very cheerful, very upbeat personality she never seems to let go of.

Lala became fed up with everything happening in her life that she found herself running away from home hoping to finally be free. From then on, she met someone who protected and saved her despite being a stranger showing her that she deserved to be free and have choices. For times she felt liberated and the beacon shone through her lonely past. There have only been a week and free days since he came and started to live with the man who she wished to be her fiance.

At first she only wanted her marriage to stop but Lala had fallen to someone who would fight for something he believes in. She saw him fight against a Devilukean who is far superior than an earthling.

"I finally got a break from training." Lala turned to her side looking at the man who she had started to fall for who had been caring and loving towards her even though she had no reason to be. He was rather good looking having messy spiky hair similar to her father but had single bangs while the rest combed back. Haruto took a half day train from Ryozanpaku and was taking a break to take Lala on a date.

Kansei Ma teased him about it while Shigure was a bit disappointed since she wanted to spar more since it was the only way to chat with Haruto and know about themselves. On the other hand, Miu doesn't know what she was feeling thinking about Haruto having a date with Lala. Haruto was obviously of this since he never was the best to read someone. Even if he does notice would not say anything unless he is sure it is true.

Honoka heard this and wanted to have her own dates where Haruto promised to take her shopping but also bring gifts.

[ A/N: Quick reminder Haruto is 15 and Honoka is 13. So their ages isn't far. ]

"By the way, where do you want to go again?" Haruto was wearing a simple tank top and black jeans showing off his body. He wonders if he was doing any good to make Lala happy or was he being too neglectful? The two of them do spend some quality time when showering and bathing.

"Oh I want to watch that! Risa-san said it was really good!" Lala excitedly pointed at a movie poster that was light hearted romance movie and Haruto was a bit skeptical since it's from Risa who is quite perverted. He decided to let go and watched it since Lala seemed rather eager.

They watched the movie and it was rather good in Haruto's opinion even if it was a little cliche. Lala strangle captivated seeing the movie relating her own experience and how after meeting Haruto changed her life. After the movie, the two went out and headed to eat some food.

"Mmmm!! This is sooo good!" Lala said, eating her parfait deserts as they had finished eating the main course. Haruto does have a lot of money because of the miscellaneous rewards and quests he has done. He hasn't found any major quest as of yet nor does he intend to buy anything at the moment.

"Slow down, Lala." Haruto chuckle Leaning back on his chair as he enjoys his time with Lala. He does know about her because of the new set of memories but Haruto takes them with a grain of soul knowing things might be different.

"By the way, Risa-san told me that boys have a type that they like. Am I the type you like?" Lala tilted her head and Haruto caught off guard, blushing a bit. He doesn't usually use [ Tranquil State ] unless in a battle or stressful situation therefore would be flustered being asked by someone like Lala. He's not some edgelord who wishes to fulfill the so-called Chad who doesn't have emotion.

"W-Well, yes, I like honest girls and gullibles like you. My motto is to be as free as I can be." Haruto said not wanting to burden himself with lies and deceits.

"Like Miu?" Lala often heard that they act similarly with minor differences and get along quite well with her. Haruto caught off guard and nodded.

"Yeah?" Haruto tilted his head wondering why Lala looked like she's thinking deeply. He didn't think too hard and changed topics.

"By the way, is there anything else you want to try?" He asked as Lala nodded leaving the store and heading around the mall where they would play some arcade and bought some gifts. He got a hair pin for Honoka and Cat bracelet for Miu, noticing that she likes cats like him. Haruto prefers cats over dogs.

"Lala, you fully intend to make me your fiance, right?" Haruto asked, holding hands with Lala who was munching on some Taiyaki.

"Umu. I like Haruto, it makes me happy and free." Lala happily said and the same goes for him. Though things are complicated because of Honoka but Peke and Lala had been working on the Harem Plan to make it work.

"I see, uhmm…well it's only temporary but…" Haruto scratched his back and took out from his pocket a small box to hand to Lala.

"It is custom on earth to hand a ring to the one they want to be their fiancee. Though, I intend to actually propose to y—" before he could be hugged by Lala.

"I'm so happy!" She tightens her embrace while Haruto winces from her strength but lets her have her moment. Until a few seconds later as she let go and Lala wore the ring in her fingers as she was incredibly happy and cheerful.

"I heard from Mikan about it." Lala was captivated by the ring while Haruto paused, seeing the picturesque scene where he scratched his cheek. He moved closer and held hands that had the ring.

"Don't worry this is only temporary and when I have time I'll propose more seriously." Haruto said and Lala didn't mind the simple proposal since earth custom is new to her. The pink haired smiled then wrapped her around Haruto and gave his kiss on the lips where the moment became special and time seemed to stop simply for the two of them. Their hearts seem to be realign and Lala pulled back a bit flustered but smiled.

"I think it is already special, thank you, Haruto." Lala said as Haruto smiled as the two stopped since the people around them were watching. After some time, Haruto and Lala were walking their way home.

'Hmm?' Haruto sensed something and turned to see a group of boys the same age as him picking on someone familiar.

"Is that Haruna-chan?" Lala spotted her friend and immediately suggested to greet her while Haruto noticed how she felt uncomfortable around the group of boys.

"Haruna-chan?" The two worked over and her face became relieved seeing someone familiar as the guys who were hitting on her looked at them.

"Excuse me but do you need anything from our friend?" Haruto said while Lala went to hug Haruna as the group of boys recognized him.

"Wait aren't you, Haruto? What a lucky day~" One of them said while Haruto understood that it was possible they were planning on taking Haruna.

"If we capture you, won't we be able to join Ragnarok and rise up the ranks?" They were looking at Haruto like an easy prey and immediately tried to punch him. Haruto simply moved his head to the side, missing the jab.

"What a lousy punch." Haruto placed his hand on their abdomen and struck using what Kansei Ma had taught him, causing the one who attacked him to pass out. Haruna saw this and was surprised that Haruto displayed unbelievable power despite being smaller and slimmer than his enemy.

"You!!" One of them took out a knife scaring Haruna but Haruto unfazed by this and simply waited for him to strike. He had his hand in his pocket and took deep breath.

[ Swore God style - Disarm! ]

Everything slowed down and his arm was unsheathed from his pocket instantly hitting their wrist and disarming him then recieve quick strike that shook their brain knocking them out. Haruto uses a Kaia or Hidden stance that draws principles in unsheathing a blade.

They were dumbfounded seeing Haruto standing and their comrade fall into the ground knock out as the remaining two were unsure what to do.

"Before I knock you out, remember if you ever mess with anyone who can't fight then I'll hunt every single one of you." Haruto said before they're vision faded to block, having received a precise and devastating blow

He finishes and turns to Haruna with a friendly smile.

"Sorry if I've scared you Haruna-chan. Are you alright? Did they do anything to you?" He asked and Haruna shook her head.

"No, I'm alright and thank you for helping me." Haruna was happy that they came to her rescue. Haruto nodded looking at the people and left them there. Soon enough, they were walking back home together.

"What were you going before we arrived?" He asked, having his hand in his pocket.

"I was just buying some things since my sister forgot to restock." Haruna replied, still a bit shaken from what happened and captivated by how heroic he was. Reminding her when they were young and the voice when he would come to save her from bullies.

"Still, next time you should bring something like taser or pepper spray. A pretty girl alone like you can attract unnecessary attention." Those words rolled off the tongue and Haruna's heart seemed to skip a bit. Haruto was unaware what he was doing and simply speaking out loud.

"O-Oh, okay, I'll keep that in mind." She stuttered flustered by the sudden compliment but she knew what kind of person Haruto was. Always honest and rarely lies, MOST of the time putting others over himself. This is what makes him compelling.

"What about you two if you don't mind me asking?" Haruna asked, seeing the two made her feel kind of strange. Ever since she found out that Lala was engaged to Haruto had been feeling strange.

"Well, we were on a date since I rarely get the chance with all my hellish training." Haruto answered thinking about how many times his body had been broken and shattered. Apachai does give him an entertaining fight while getting a firm understanding of Shigure through her weapon training. Haruna felt her heart some frickle and don't know how she should react.

"I see, but why are you suddenly training?" Haruna is curious since she remembers Haruto stopped being violent after junior high.

"Personally I don't know but if I could get stronger and use that strength for people I cared about then I'll do it." Haruto said still trying to find his purpose for training knowing his answer is not yet satisfying. Haruna was mesmerized by his face and blush. Soon after, they arrived home and parted ways.
