20 Chapter 20 - Problems

After having their dinner Kenichi had woken up unaware of what had conspired. Haruto told him their morning is done for now and can put his effort into training in Ryozanpaku Dojo. Meanwhile, Honoka jumped to kiss Haruto on the cheek, surprising her family and declared that she'll make Haruto to be her future husband. Haruto wryly smiled at what had happened while Kenichi sweatdropped seeing the scene.

Lala simply smiled and didn't know that she was being challenged. The couple soon head their way home as Haruto was thinking about what had happened and how Lala approved the harem.

"Are you sure about what you said, Lala?" Haruto dislikes lying and playing with people's feelings, always better to stay to themselves rather than let people choose who he should be.

"Umu, I do want to marry you and become my husband but I don't want to ruin your relationship with other people. Honoka seems nice and really likes you." Lala gave her honest opinion not trying to force him and genuinely wants to be with Haruto for who he is after showing her his charming side.

"....I don't even know what to say. To tell you the truth, I don't like playing with people's feelings towards me and wish to be as honest as I can." Haruto didn't want Honoka to be depressed simply because he made a careless move. But he also doesn't want to hurt Lala, who is someone that he started to like with how honest she is.

"But in the end, I will take responsibility for it but for now I'm focusing my attention on getting stronger. Still, are you sure you'll be fine?" Haruto turned towards Lala who tilted her in confusion.

"About what?" She looked at Haruto who couldn't believe how innocent and pure Lala was. Then again all of her life was forced and controlled by her responsibility as princes while on earth she was able to taste freedom and choice all thanks to Haruto who fought for her freedom. This is her way of repaying him while also exploring more about her feelings towards him

"Like getting jealous. In our, it is uncommon with few exceptions but generally frowned upon always leads to violences." Haruto wasn't aiming to be a pokemon master to collect women. He sees Lala as someone that he doesn't deserve.

"I won't! I like you Haruto and the people like you might be like me. I don't want you to leave me and the same for others. I want everyone to be happy. Because you make us happy." Lala said while Haruto paused looking at her remembering what he wanted most in life

"Happy huh…." Haruto looked at Lala and walked closer where she was surprised when he embraced her. He doesn't know what to say but decided to follow what makes him and others happy.

"You're the best, Lala." He would find a way through it and find balance for it.

"How about making a Harem Plan?" Peke suggested taking off the tension between them and Lala lit up.

"You're right! That way everyone is happy!" Lala said while Haruto shuddered hearing this. Haruto paused, hearing their plan made him question reality, wondering if this is real life or is this fantasy.

"Uhmm, let's talk about that next time. Let us just go home since it's already late." He suggested and Lala nodded, wrapping her arms around him, pressing her breath between his arms while Honoka suddenly felt the urge to beat someone.

Back at home, Haruto and Rito looked exhausted as if they had a long battle where Mikan noticed this as she was having some popsicle.

"What happened to you two?" Mikan couldn't help her curiosity with both sighs at the same time.

"Can't tell you. It's something I need to solve myself. And you can guess what's Rito's problem. So you still can't talk to Haruna-chan?" Haruto got his brother's attention who nodded.

"Yeah….why is it so hard, Haruto-Nii?" Rito doesn't know what to feel and worried that Haruna might like someone else and ruin his relationship with her.

"Why are you asking me? Lala is the one who confesses, not me. Go ask her." Haruto answered since he was just lucky and honest to himself but he is also someone who understands his brother's inner turmoil.

"Boys." Mikan muttered seeing the two in daze again but wondered about her own feelings glancing over to her oldest brother.

"Hey I heard that!" Haruto glared at her while she shrugged it off heading towards her room. Soon enough, Haruto went to bed where Lala joined soon after since she had been working on her lab. He had a long day and decided to rest and allow him to have time to think since he can rush things.

The next day, he went to do his usual training that would help him go further than before and break through his limits. He was thinking about how his life is truly taking a huge turn, especially with the situation with Honoka. It was so comical that he couldn't stop thinking about how ridiculous his life is.

"Even how much I deny reality, things won't change. My choice will hurt them." Haruto acts like what people call a Beta but he is just thinking logically.

"Then again, a world with aliens and martial artists that can survive a nuke isn't logical either." He said out loud while doing a pull up that hardly affected him putting his stress into exercise allowing him to reduce it.

"Best not to dwell since we suffer more often in imagination than in reality." The quote helps him since the problem isn't that big of a deal and simply needs to do what he normally does and that is to make them happy.

Haruto finished his exercise and went back home to get dressed having a bath with Lala who happily joined him. He started to get used to it and the [ Tranquil State ] helped avoid him getting an erection.

Afterwards, Haruto, Lala and Rito went to school and as they entered the door Haruto saw people were looking at him in a weird way. Some had admiration in their eyes for him, some girls had hearts glowing in their eyes while some had respect for him.

After seeing them like that Haruto knew they all knew his deed of beating up Tsubaka but he knew other than Haruo there aren't many in the newspaper club who could find this information as where they fought was backside of the school.

During break Haruto went to sit on the bench where he met Miu who was already waiting for him there. Seeing Haruto deep in contemplation Miu asked.

"What happened, Haruto-kun?"

"Well actually....." Haruto told her about the morning incident while Lala was happily eating.

"Isn't that great? Haruto showed why he is so great!" Lala cheerfully said.

"Wait, you fought Tsubaka-senpai!?" Kenichi exclaimed thinking how much trouble that his brother was currently in.

"So people are admiring you, respecting you and all," Miu said.

"Yes that's what I feel from the way they look at me" Haruto replied to Miu.

"Of course they will since you stood up for the weak and fought the strong to protect us." came a voice from a window of the school building. When Haruto and Miu looked at the person who spoke they saw that it was Haruo who spoke.

"What do you mean, Haruo?" Haruto asked Haruo.Haruo showed him the paper from the newspaper club which had all the information about his fight and it depicted him as a hero fighting for the justice of the weak against the strong.

"Ok though I know you would be able to get this information tell me how do you know everything in such a detail" Haruto asked Haruo after he read the paper.

"Don't underestimate my sources" Haruo replied to Haruto.

"I told him... I am sorry" Miu while making a cute face while playing with his fingers.

"Hmph." Haruto crossed his arms glaring at Haruo.

"With two bowls of ramen," Haruo said while Haruto frowned.

"You bribed her?" Haruto asked in a scary tone that made Haruo shudder. He knows that Miu was easily persuaded since she is like Lala who is gullible at times.

"H-Haruo's a friend I didn't know was going to be like this....." Miu waved both her hands fast as she was flustered and thought Haruto was getting angry at him.

"Don't worry I'm not mad. And it just matters of time anyway." Haruto said while Kenichi worried for his brother.

"Haruto-Nii aren't you worried that more people will come and fight you!?" Kenichi exclaimed, imagining him getting beat up again.

"You're overthinking, fighting is much simpler. You fight, get beat up, then stand back up again. Life is an endless battle and you can't always run away from your problem can yah?" Haruto said that and was affected by it himself thinking that he also should face the battle that he is facing instead of dog overthinking.

"Haruto try this, it's really delicious." Lala handed a puff pastry that she was munching on and Haruto took it and agreed that it was good.

"Mine too, try it! I made it this morning." Miu said, sharing her food and Kenichi looking at this.

'Haruto-Nii is really popular….Honoka has a lot of competition.' Kenichi later learned what had conspired last night during breakfast.

"Haruto look." Haruo said while pointing towards the front side of the school building. There were three boys standing there one with black spikey hair at the right, the other one in the left was tallest had brown hair wearing black shade specs and had a small scar at the right side of the chin and the one in the center had a silver color hairs, with ponytail going down his shoulders.

"They are the technique trio of Ragnarok Koga the kicker, Ukita the thrower and Takeda the puncher" Haruo introduced the three Punks to Miu and Haruto. Takeda picked up the newspaper which was dropped by someone and after reading it.

"Tsubaka that weak bastard" Takeda said he throwed the paper in the air and punched it after which it was torn in pieces because of the punch. His movement was quick and precise and more training would make him a lot stronger. Haruto can see why he would become an essential character in the future.

"Make sure Tsubaka never shows his face to the school again, and Kisara-sama orders to bring back the freshman Haruto." Takeda said to his followers while Haruto was using [ Concealed Presence ] hiding from them. He doesn't want to ruin their break simply because they want to fight him.

"Yes!" Said Ukita and followed Takeda

"Gotcha!" said Koga and ran towards Tsubaka's class.

"Ragnarok!!" Kenichi exclaimed seeing his quick movement made him wonder if Haruto can overcome his new opponent. He is unaware that Haruto can easily fight them and Apachai is more of a challenge than they were.

"Yes, the Ragnarok gang, they are the strongest delinquent groups in the area," Haruo answered and Haruto thought about their relevance in the future and how he would have to fight them one way or another.

"This is going to be terrible, Haruto! you stand out too much. Ragnarok will search the entire neighborhood and find you. They might even mess with those around you to get your attention." Haruo said scaring Kenichi thinking about him becoming their target while Haruto's entire demeanor shifted showing frightening presence.

"I want them to try and see what happened!" Haruto growled at this statement to Haruo, slightly scaring him, recalling how he beat him.

"Calm down, I'll collect more information about those three?" Haruo asked.

Though Haruto knew about the three more than Haruo but he can't say so he nodded his head giving his approval to Haruo to collect the information on them. In addition, he can't rule out any subtle changes considering there are many people that weren't supposed to be part of this existence.

"Fine then I will tell you about them within a day or so, but don't fight them today since the weekend is going to start." Haruo said to Haruto who nodded.

"Kenichi-chan, focus on getting stronger since I can handle myself unlike you. One way to another you'll have to fight. It may not be today but eventually you will. Just be ready and get stronger." Haruto said to Kenichi who was sweating and clearly scared but still nodded not wanting to trouble him any longer. Afterwards, the break ended and the group went back to their classroom.
