Hello?... "That's weird," I thought. I tried to speak, but I wasn't able to. It felt tight all over my body. Good thing I am not claustrophobic. I tried to move, but I couldn't. That's when I felt something pulling me, and I again lost consciousness.

"What happened, Princess?" a maid asked.

"The baby just kicked," said Mary while laughing a bit.

"Shall I call the doctor?" the other maid asked.

"No, I don't think there is any need for that, but be sure to tell the queen consort," Mary said.

"As you wish, Princess," the maid said, leaving.

Where am I? I said it out loud. "I can speak." That was my thought. I was in a forest. This forest has no leaves and is dark in the sky, but somehow it didn't give an ominous feeling but more like being at home.

"How did I get here?"

That was when it said, "I brought you here" in a mechanical voice.

I got sweaty in my back and was scared, but I asked in a composed manner, "Where are we exactly?"

"It's your subconscious mind, to be exact," it said.

I took a deep breath to cool myself down. Even though there is no air here, it still calmed me down. I then asked, "Who are you, and why can't I see you?".

It said, "I am a 12th-dimensional experimental device, and the reason you can't see me due to you being of lower dimension is why I have adapted a tattoo form on the back of your left hand."

I was calmed down by now, and many questions and thoughts were going through my mind right now, like "Why me?" and "Where was I earlier?".

It said "During a regular in the Science Institute of Space, an explosion happened, which is why I had to escape because I suffered damage, but after escaping, I noticed that I required a host to survive, and you were a random fit as a host, so you were chosen, but due to a mechanical error, the impact of landing turned out to be too strong for the fragile human body, which caused your death. As to where you were earlier, you were in a woman's womb in the year 1892."

After digesting the information that was thrown at me, after a minute, I said, "Can you stop reading my thoughts, please? As you said, I am your host, so you have to listen to me." 

With some curiosity, it said, "I am a being that you can't even see; if I don't wish for you to see, why do you think I will listen to any word you say."

I knew I was in a dangerous zone right now but i knew if this gamble paid off i would have a powerful companion in this time when dog eats dog and two world war are ahead. So I said, "Like you said earlier, you were in an accident that has done some damage to you. If you could only find a person on earth, there might be billions of other life forms, much less other dimensions, and my death was caused by you, so you owe me for that."

It felt like it smiled after that, even though the tattoo was not smiling physically. I could feel its satisfaction with my answer as the mental pressure that was over me was lifted. I could feel a burden being lifted, which almost caused me to fall, but I stayed put.

I continued, "As you need me, I need you, so why don't we become friends? So why don't we start our introduction and then see what you will give me in this transaction and what I will give you?"

It said, "The name I was given is something you will not be able to understand." While it thought, "Well, at least he barely passed the courage test."

It continued, "What I bring in this transaction is that I will help you by sending you to other universes, but to make sure you do not end up in a dangerous universe that might be collapsing, I would need a reference point for it, which I think should be from a movie or TV show that you had in the 21st century, and what you bring in this transaction is how much you will change the plot of the said universe, through which I will get energy from the will of the universe." 

I was still digesting that there really are movie and TV show universes, and I thought, "This can provide me with a lot of help in building my empire as well as my harem." 

But I immediately asked another question. "But if I recall correctly, you said earlier that we are currently in 1892, so how will I choose which movie or TV show to go to?"

It thought for a minute, which made me a little anxious. After one minute, he said, "You got a good point there, so after some thinking I have decided to download all the reference points of the movies or TV shows there were in the present time when you died." 

I immediately blurted "ALL!!". I mean, there are a lot of movies and TV shows that have been filmed, to be honest.

I swear I saw it smirk, "Yeah, all." 

After some more chatting, I said to it, "Why don't I give you a name since we are friends now?" 

It said in a startled voice, "Why?" 

I said in a casual way, "Because I can't keep calling you it, so why not?"

It said "okay." 

I named it "Katie." I think Katie liked her new name.

I was going to ask her one more question, but Katie said, "I cannot keep you here any longer than 5 minutes, even though 5 seconds have not passed due to the time difference in here and out there, and it's especially not safe for a child who has not even been born."

I immediately asked her my last question, "Where am I being born?" 

Katie said with a slight pride in her tone, "You are being born as a girl in the British royal family, but don't worry, I changed your genetics a bit so you have both male and female reproductive parts now. Bye, speak to you when you are born."

I was baffled by her sentence, but before I could say something, I was back in the dark place I was earlier. After a few seconds, I only had one thought: "Now what?"
