Chapter Six [ Souls For The Dead ]
The Following Chapter has scenes of violence and blood , if you are not a person who can stomach such behaviour , please skip by this chapter.
" Alek I'm leaving to the world of the living . " Lucifer informed his Doctor as he opened a portal .
" Bring me back tasty souls . " Alek called after Lucifer as he disappeared , in a cloud of smoky gray darkness .
" He seriously needs some color in his life , at this rate he might actually be the perfect, embodiment of death . " Alek mumbled , shaking his head, exasperated with the Dark King .
Lucifer grinned as he stepped through the dimensional portal , he shrunk his hair to a neat shoulder length , his blue and black hair turning brown , his body slimming down as he lost a few inches from his regular height . He stepped on to the cold stone floor of London's streets , his eyes changed into a light green , bright and alert as he looked for what he came specifically for .
He smelled the air , taking in the scents around him , the smoke from factories the waste of the horses that pulled around carriages , the smell of bakeries nearby , the smell of the coldness surrounding his body . His eyes twinkled when he pulled in that one familiar scent, the scent he was searching for , he smiled a huge smile , pearly white and humorous . " My beautiful London , just the right place . The perfect balance of maniacal and sadistic souls I need . " He said to himself, allowing himself to follow the scent of blood and death . He walked towards the shadows that protruded from the night lights on the streets, and slipped into one of them . He could very faintly feel the soul of Cerberus, he was very weak , he needed to be swift and efficient.
" Please , please I'm begging you . Any-anything you want , money , you can have all of mine . Please ju-just let me live . " The woman begged in fear , her arms outstretched in front of her ,trying to ward away the evil approaching her .
" I ha-have a family, a daughter , please please spare me . " She continued begging , tears rolling down her face , her purse dangling from her outstretched arms . The man didn't even reply to her , he had that look in his eyes a murderous intent , humor at how much she was begging him . He slowly walked towards her , taunting her as she backed into a wall . The shadows of the alley way , shadowed everything that was happening from a normal passer by . He reached her and pulled her forward roughly by a hand . " Pl-please do-don't do this . " She begged him , as he pressed the sharp knife closer to her throat , drawing blood . The crimson color of her blood , contrasted with her pale , broken skin as it flowed down her neck .
" Now now , my pretty doll , you're speaking too much . " The man said aggressively. He held her tighter as she struggled against him , angry at her disobedience he pressed the knife further past her already broken skin , he slid the knife across, slicing a vein .
The blood flowed from her neck , at first in a spray as her body fell limply.
" N-no I don't want to die . " She managed to gurgle as her body fell , the life disappearing from her eyes .
The man enraged , kicked her dead body , the sickening crunch of her ribs breaking , filled the silent alley way .
" WHY DID YOU HAVE TO STRUGGLE , I WANTED TO PLAY WITH YOU SOME MORE . " The man angrily screamed as he continuously , defiled her corpse , kicking and kicking . " No matter , I'll just have you for dessert now . " He said panting.
The killer was not able to touch the body of the fallen soul , as a new voice entered the equation .
" Quite a sinister one you are . " Lucifer stated as he came forward from the shadows . His deep voice startled the man and he dropped the bloody knife . " You weren't finished with her , were you . From the way this looks and your ludicrous ramblings , I'd say I'm spot on when I say you're the one they call the violator . " Lucifer continued on as he approached the man .
" Wa-walk away , walk away before I kill you too . I don't kill men but I will if I have to . " The man warned shakily.
" I see , I was right , you're the young man going around violating the dead bodies of the women you kill . " Lucifer stated calmly , his hands in his long coat . " You will do quite well . " He smiled , his own smile filled with a sinister intent .
Lucifer directed his attention to the body of the lifeless woman . His body began to slowly change into his real form , his long white hair fell past his shoulders , reflecting the pale moonlight , his body shot up to its original height , his eyes a lilac and gold each . The power flowed from his body ,his eyes brightening as he let his power pour out of him , surrounding him .
" Awake half daughter of mine , slowly rise heed to my call . Come forward, rise and walk forward, serve your Master . " Lucifer commanded , his index finger pointing directly at the body , his voice deep and commanding . His voice echoed throughout the alleyway , the shadows holding down the frightened killer. The woman body began to shake slightly and a pale blue light erupted from her body as her soul was ripped out .
" Lord Lucifer , I am here by your command . " She said , her body the same pale blue light that had erupted from her body , her eyes a very bright blue .
" Return to your truth , come alive with your memories, bring back your stolen life . " Lucifer spoke again, clicking his fingers together.
" Wh-what, wh-where - am I, am I de-dead ? " The woman asked as she touched her neck . She looked beneath her floating body and saw her solid body there lifeless .
" Quite dead I'd say , tell me spirit what is your name ? " Lucifer asked the woman , who was still staring at her body .
" I am called Kayna Ashton, My Lord . I am - rather I was a Doctor . " Kayna said , directing her attention to the Dark King .
" Tell me Kayna, do you wish for revenge on the man that ended your life ? " Lucifer queried . He flicked his wrist and the shadows moved aside , revealing the scared killer that was tired down by the shadows . His eyes widened further as he saw the image of Kayna and he struggled to get away.
" You ! " Kayna called out to the man , her light voice gone as it darkened with anger . " You vile disgusting man , Lord Lucifer let me kill him , let me torture him . " Kayna begged her body glowing bright as the rage enveloped her .
" You may do as you wish , however do not mess with his soul I need it intact . " Lucifer agreed and warned her . Kayna looked towards her Master and bowed to him .
" If you are searching for vile souls My Lord , I may be of use as a Doctor I have come across many vile souls. " Kayna said , " I do not wish to go into the after life and waste away , if I may serve you my King , I would be eternally grateful. " Kayna suggested .
Lucifer eyed the spirit that he had just pulled back to life , he watched her and peered into her soul . He saw her daughter , the life she lived .
" Will you not miss your life spirit ? I can give you back the life this man had stolen . " Lucifer advised, he offered her the truth .
" No , my life is over, I love my daughter but I was never able to help her , she didn't like me much , quite her Father's daughter I'd say . Let me serve you Lord Lucifer , I just want a purpose. " Kayna said making her decision.
" Very well , I grant your wish Kayna . I will have you work for me with a friend of mine . First help me collect these souls , prove your worth and then I will see if you are worth the effort. " Lucifer compromised . Kayna hastily agreed with her Lord's conditions.
" Now . . . " Kayna said looking at the killer still chained up by the shadows .
She floated over to his side , her ghostly hand sending chills down his body . This was the man that had taken her mortal life , she would throughly enjoy what she was about to do . Her body was just smoke like , so she couldn't hold the knife she was killed with , when she tried picking it up. Lucifer clicked his fingers again and she felt herself drop , she placed her hands on her neck and pulled it away seeing the red tinted of her blood .
" Thank you . " She said gratefully as she felt the solidity of her body . Picking of the knife that was soiled with her own blood , she wiped the bloodied knife on the killer's face , her blood smearing across. " Now let's see if we can have some fun . " She told the frightened man. The knife glistened in the moonlight as it made contact with his eye . She pulled away the knife swiftly and stuffed it into his neck , dragging it down his body . He never got a chance to scream , he couldn't react at all , his body having already been mangled before his reaction had caught up . She pulled away the knife and stuffed it into his body again , the blood splattered across her face and clothes as she plunged it over and over again into the mutilated body.
