Bishop’s play

"I don't know, you ask him!" "No, way! Every time I ask him he yells at me for not listening to his directions!" "I asked last time, it's only fair this way." Said my friend _____. She had been my friend for almost 2 years now but yet it feels like we had known each other for our whole lives. She was a satanist which was ironic because I was a Christian who loves God and Jesus and the Bible more than anything in the world. From time to time I would try to tell her about God and his son but she would always turn a blind eye to it. I always felt like there was some combination of words out there, that would convince her to at least try to read the Bible but I could never figure it out. That never stoped me from trying though. Every day I would try a new strategy to change her mind but still, I failed. I can't blame her after all that though. Her life hasn't been easy. Her so called "Christian" parents were abusive and she was sent to an insane asylum at a very young age for trying to end it all. She's better now of course but I can't help but wonder if her life has gotten any better. Nobody really likes us school, and we're each other's only friend, so I can't imagine how much worse that makes her life. I am a lot less pretty than her, and I am pretty slow too, so hopefully having me around makes her feel more confident in herself. "RING" everyone jumped out of their seats and met their friends at their friends to chit chat, before leaving with them to their next class. Me and _____ were always the first to leave since we packed up earlier than everyone else. "I'd rather die than stay for Mr smith's tutoring class. That stuff is pure gibberish I'm telling you!" "Yeah sometimes his teaching make so little sense that I think he's wrong and I'm right." I replied. "That old man needs to start learning how to teach! In fact, how did he even get his job in the first place! I mean, he is super scary and not fun at-"suddenly all her words were muffled out. my heart started to swoon and My puppies dilated. I saw him standing in the hall way talking amongst his friends. He was the cutest, kindest, most athletic guy in the school. And while most other girls didn't find interest in him, I was crazy about him.
