Chapter 2 Red Fox

As usual, Miranda needs to do some daily checks on the pandas and keep records to ensure the health of each panda.

Because the bamboo forest is a free area for red pandas, and most of their hairs are reddish, Miranda subconsciously thought that it was a red panda who ran past.

But when she calmed down, and then took a closer look - raised ears, upturned nose, pointed mouth…..What scared her was a shiny red fox!

Why is there a fox here? ! Miranda was puzzled, but her eyes were caught tightly by the beautiful fox, and she couldn't take it away. She approached the little fox slowly, wanting to look more closely, she couldn't contain her excitement, and sighed, "Little fox, you are so cute! Are you lost? The red fox stood gracefully, it looked at Miranda and blinked, with no intention of running away.

"Ouch—!" Miranda screamed, pulling her hands back suddenly, and a stronger pain followed. This cunning fox actually hangs on her wrist and doesn't let go!

Miranda clearly saw that the fox's two fangs were embedded in her wrist, and the white hair around the fox's mouth was stained with her blood.

Sure enough, the most charming and the most dangerous, the old saying is exactly right!

Miranda hurriedly stretched out her other hand, grabbed the back of the red fox's neck, and lifted it up. The little fox kicked his legs hard, twisted his body left and right, and finally let go.

Miranda looked at her injured wrist, the two teeth wounds were still bleeding. She raised the little fox in front of her and said with a sad face, "Why are you so cruel to me..." She has to go to the hospital immediately to bandage the wound to prevent infection.

The red fox left the ground on all fours at this moment, was lifted in mid-air, and finally calmed down. It didn't dare to move and looked at Miranda with its eyes blinking innocently.

Miranda looked at it for a while and finally softened her heart, "Hey, it's my fault too. I knew you were lost, you must be very scared, and I shouldn't come to provoke you. But don't worry, I'm a good person and I'm here to help you. "After that, she picked up the fox and stood up, intending to take it to the work area to check if it was injured, and then find a home for it.

Under normal circumstances, animals will not continue to resist after being strangled by their necks. However, this fox is unusual. It seems to have a plan in its heart. It obediently stayed in Miranda's hand for a while. When she just felt a little tired in her hand and relaxed her vigilance a little, the fox suddenly curled up, swayed twice, its legs struggled upward, scratching Miranda's forearm!

"Ah—!Ouch!!!" With a scream, Miranda let it go. The fox landed steadily, and for a moment, Miranda even saw a smug expression on its face.

"I'm so angry!" Miranda shouted aggrievedly looking at the two scratches on her arm.

She thought that the fox would run away immediately after breaking free, but the fox in front of her did not intend to leave in a hurry, it still stared at Miranda, and stretched its neck vigilantly in defense.

Seeing that it was so aggressive, Miranda worried that if the fox hurt the red panda in the park, there will be big trouble. In desperation, she had to take out her phone and plan to call the staff of the park to implement compulsory arrest. However, the fox seemed to have guessed Miranda's intention again. Before she could get through, she saw the little fox arching her body again and grinning at the same time, revealing two blood-stained fangs in preparation for the next attack.

Miranda understood its movements, she couldn't turn around and run away, worried that the fox would be frightened, and attack her directly, so she had to step back slowly while avoiding eye contact with the fox.

The staff of the park answered the phone at this time. Miranda retreated and observed the environment. She roughly determined her position and explained to the other end of the phone: "There's a mad fox at about 300 meters away from the exhibition area. It is length about 60cm, about 6 kilograms, I need a tranquillizer..."

Miranda spoke as calmly as possible until her hand suddenly touched a bamboo behind her!

Bamboo blocked her way back, Miranda hurriedly turned around and looked back, trying to find an exit.

The fox seized this opportunity, growled lowly, and leaped forward, biting Miranda's calf.

Miranda didn't care to cry out in pain, kicked her legs hard to get rid of the fox, and her phone fell to the ground in the chaos!

But no matter how hard she struggled, the fox would not let go, but instead bit her more fiercely, and at the same time pulled her back hard, as if to tear Miranda apart.

In the chaos, Miranda fell to the ground, sweating instantly on her head. She clenched her teeth and tried to kick the fox with her other foot, but it was still in vain.

At this moment, the charm bright was completely lost in the fox's eyes, and only the fierce red light remained.

What's more terrifying is that, for some unknown reason, Miranda's forearm, wrist, and leg wounds occurred at the same time, and the severe pain spread to all parts of her body, swallowing her.

She felt weaker and weaker as if she would lose consciousness at any moment.

Unexpectedly, her happy life would be buried in the beauty of a fox!

After several attempts, she finally lost her strength and slammed her head on the ground.
