1 CHAPTER 2

When I got to school, I checked my wrist watch and found out I still had about thirty minutes before my first class for today . I went to the locker room and brought out the books for my subjects for that morning and also a novel to keep me busy. Before leaving the locker room,I retouched my make up and added more red lipstick on my lips then I left. Red lipstick? Not an ideal make over for school. Yeah, I know. As soon as I opened the door to the classroom,all eyes were on me but it didn't make me feel nervous because it's actually a normal thing fur me. I sighted Oliver,a guy who has always had a crush on me since middle school but when he finally asked me out last year valentine,I turned him down but he still doesn't want to back off. As I Walked down to my seat, someone called my name then I turned,it happened to be Charlie,a cute guy with blonde hair. He said "Hi" and winked at me.There was a loud echo of "ooh" from the class but Ijust smilled and went to my seat. As I got to my seat,Sam was already seated on his own seat which happened to be close to mine. He smilled at me and I gave him the "what?" expression before he showed me a guy that was sitting close to cindy and I swear this guy was actually drooling because of me. I looked away and Sam started laughing which didn't go well because it drew lots of attention towards where I was sitting. Some group of guys didn't turn back and they kept wispering to themselves and that was when I realized what was going on. In my family we actually have this hereditary and it happens to be big boobs. I have always stood out among my group of friends, peers or class mates. Yeah, it's that obvious. and I think they were really checking out my boobs. No scratch that; They were ogling it. About one minute later,the noise died down and it was because the two famous cousins came into the class. "They sure do command attention."I said to myself with an eye roll. Most of the girls were giving what they feel is their best smile that imaginarily make them look pretty. Great, now they will all start acting like deers that escaped from the Zoo. As Hunter was coming to the back of the class our gaze met then,he smirked but Bryan just walked past as if he was the only one in the class and our gaze didn't meet at all. As soon as the two boys settled down,our History teacher came in and appologized for being late to class. He could have just stayed home, I'm very sure no one will mind. Yeah, I'm an art student and we are the only ones allowed to take history in my school. He started teaching but I wasn't really paying attention to his teachings although this is not the first time it's happening but I don't know why i was just thinking about that smirk. Later in the day,I was packing up my books after lesson and someone walked past me and dropped a paper on my desk. I opened it and read "Come to the locker room. Hunter B." Wow, the audacity. I didn't think he has that in him. I smilled to myself and sam looked at me and asked me why I was blushing. "Am I blushing?" I asked and he replied by saying that my cheeks are red . He smiled knowing fully that I was hiding something. "Don't forget we are best friends and we are not to keep any secret from each other." His words not mine. "Fine" I huffed and gave him the paper. After reading it,he looked at me and asked me if it was really Hunter Bush. "Yeah." I replied. "You are not going to the locker room ,right?" He asked. "Ofcourse I'm going to the locker room.I mean,I always go there to keep my books before going for lunch." I will really advice you not to go."he said with a frown. "why?" I asked him. "Just don't go,I have a weird feeling about this. instead I will go to the locker room to drop your books and bring the ones you are having after lunch." "Okay,if you say so." I replied and thanked him. when we got to the front of the locker room,I handed my bag to him and took my purse and headed for the canteen. I ordered beef and fries with a coca cola can drink then I picked a table that was close to the window and started eating my fries. After some minutes sam came and ordered two buggers and chilled sprite ,handed my bag to me and joined me in the table. when I was done with eating,I continued sipping my coke before someone came and and asked me if he could talk to me. I looked up and it was Hunter.weird. "Sure." I replied "Umm, not here.maybe outside I kind of need some privacy" he said and I left with him after Sam gave me the eye not to follow him. But what can I do?I can't tell Hunter no because I still want to enjoy my last grade in this school and I don't want people to give me the mean look whenever I walk past them. besides,the one Cindy and her crew give to me daily is already enough. As the both of us got outside,he stopped and looked at me then laughed. "What's funny?" I asked. "Hi" He said then I replied back by the same "Hi." "So, what do you want to talk about?"I asked him. "Actually,I want us to be closer than friends." He said. cringe. "What do you mean?" I asked. Besides it's not everyday you hear someone you have never spoken to tell you such thing. "Okay let me make it clear,I want to date you." " Have you always been thus straight forward and creepy?" I asked him but he didn't say anything. "Are you joking or what? because this is so funny .we barely know each other and come to think of it why are you suddenly interested in me now?" I asked him. "It doesn't matter,We will grow to know each other when we start dating." He replied. "I think this is a bad idea.if you may excuse me." I said and walked away. He called my name but I didn't reply. I quickly went to the restroom and I entered inside, looked at myself in the mirror then I laughed to myself and started blushing. I know I acted so strong and nonchalant out there but I was screaming from the inside. I can't even believe he just asked me out. I didn't see him in class during the remaining subjects for that day. Not that I was checking. After school was over, Liam came to pick me up from school with his sport car then,we left.
