342 CHAPTER 342: Goodbye Saphira. As I Love You

"Sister, sister!!"

A young Saphira was tugging at Raynisha's sleeves.

She, who was buried in books and files, looked down at her.

"Not now Saphira, I am busy."

"Play with me please," Saphira had on a puppy look.

Raynisha sighed, she knew that when Saphira acted like this, she wouldn't take no for an answer.

With her tired face she got up and played along with Saphira.

At night, she couldn't rest early as she needed to finish the things she was unable to finish because she had to play along with Saphira.

Things changed and soon she was training Saphira, after which she has her knight duties and her duties as the leader of the elite squad. Her rest would be interrupted as Saphira still wished to continue training in their home.

"Sometimes I wish I am the youngest instead," Raynisha spoke while watching over Saphira.

Moving forward once again, more things regarding Raynisha appeared before Saphira's eyes.

Until she came face to face with another Raynisha.

"I hated you. All you think about is yourself. Even if I love you, you always-"

She was interrupted when Saphira rushed to her and hugged her tight.

"I know, I know how hateful I was. I know how much I made you suffer and I can never ask you for forgiveness regarding that. But I still wish to tell you this."

The Raynisha in front of her stared at her blankly not expecting for her reaction.

It was prepared for her to react negatively.

"I love you Raynisha, thank you for being my sister and when another lifetime comes. I wish I will still be your sister..."

Raynisha's face slowly scrunched up, showing how much she didn't like the idea of what Saphira was saying.

"I want to be your elder sister that time around."

Before she could say more, Saphira continued causing her to be speechless.

"No longer the younger sister that you have to take care of. This time I wish I would be the one carrying all the burdens while you just live your life the way you wanted to. And just like you, no matter how tired I get, I will still play with you. I will train you and I will continue watching over you, loving you."

The Raynisha in front of her that did not expect her words, had so much emotions in her eyes.

Saphira smiled, "I had been waiting for this day. You never had a dark past, cause you hold everything in. That is why I knew, when I do meet your darkness, it would be your honest emotions. And I know for sure that when I do meet this darkness, it would be your true self as well. Not just the past that we always see but instead a part of the real you."

Bright light appeared causing Saphira to close her eyes until she felt that warm embrace once again.

After fifteen years, she once again felt that warm embrace.

Tears dropped from Saphira's eyes.

"Thank you," she whispered as she kept crying and hugging Raynisha tighter.

"Sorry," Raynisha spoke.

"I did hate you but as time pass by. I understood things better and realized just how much was my sacrifice to all the sacrifices you made?" Saphira replied.

"I love you," Raynisha once again said, this time she pulled away and cupped Saphira's face.

"I love you too. Thank you Raynisha, thank you so much. I love you. I'm sorry."

Raynisha smiled and wiped Saphira's tears away.

"I really am lucky that you are my sister. You always exceed everyone's expectations. Even now, who would have thought that you knew I was here?" Raynisha commented.

Saphira smiled, "As I controlled the light ability better, I realized that there is this spec of light within the Raynisha we had been facing. This allowed me to really see and understand that I could still meet you one last time. That your darkness was not a part of your past but instead what you truly felt all those years."

"Oh my intelligent baby sister. You really make me so proud. I'm sorry for hiding what I feel all this time. I'm sorry I had times that I hated you."

Saphira laughed while tears still fell from her eyes, "There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. You and I never fight but that is only because you kept caving in for me. But you have your own heart, your own emotions. Who said you can't get mad? You simply didn't want to see your baby sister cry that you hid it in you."

Raynisha chuckled and came close to kiss Saphira's forehead, "I guess I no longer need to say anything. You already know how to defeat him."

Saphira nodded her head with a smile, "I do, he left us so much clues as to how we can damage him."

Raynisha nodded her head, her body starting to turn translucent. Saphira hiccupped, she knew it will be a short meeting but still she couldn't stop herself from crying again.

"Cry Saphira, go on and cry. Cry in my arms for a few more seconds and I hope this will give you strength. Just know that everything you did, I approve of them all and I will always be proud of you," Raynisha hugged her tighter.

And when her body close to being gone, she looked at Saphira and wiped her tears one last time.

"But in the next life, let's exchange roles indeed. Be my older sister instead."

Saphira giggled, "Goodbye Raynisha, I love you."

"Goodbye Saphira. As I love you."

And with that Raynisha was completely gone.

It was a short meeting that to be honest, Ardel was aiming to cause damage on Saphira, yet he didn't know that it was actually what Saphira had been aiming for since the beginning of this final war.

She was simply trying to get back Raynisha's body in the past but when she realized that such a spec of light was there, she gambled that maybe... just maybe, Raynisha was still there.

When she opened her eyes, she was already in Hunter's arms looking at her worriedly.

She smiled at him, "I'm better now. Shall we end this war now?"
