CHAPTER 311: I'll Keep Living For You

"This time around, we are to go to the other kingdoms," Saphira commanded one week later.

She and Hunter was one group.

Willow, Stormie and Kara were another.

Drake, Felix and the other two were one more.

Hans, Nixon and Ridge were to be together.

Since they spent a lot of time together, they were able to cooperate much better.

There are also a few knights who will join them together with the rest of the knights of the kingdoms they are to visit.

The number was enough for them to finish everything within the week.

After that, they will be leaving this land to inspect the rest of the world where no kingdoms are.

Of course the promise regarding those who acted haughty towards them back when they first arrived in Hydra Kingdom, were complete excluded from the protection they were trying to do in every land.

Saphira was not lying back then, she knew as of this moment, those lands may have already fallen.

They received calls from them but obviously they didn't answer.

She wouldn't care even if they are regretting it already, they were the ones who acted superior and didn't respect them as humans.

Anyway, they are to inspect because up to this moment, they were still unaware as to where the dark lord had been all along.

No matter how much Saphira tried to search even with the light ability, she couldn't find him.

And at this moment, this is their biggest disadvantage.

If a sudden attack were to happen, then they would be placed in danger.

Kara sighed with a sad smile on.

"I really can never change her thoughts, right?"

No matter how many times, the clear line that Saphira created between them remained the same without the chance of being able to cross it at all.

Willow and Stormie smiled back.

They didn't say anything because Saphira already made it obvious.

And they have no plans on pushing on to her their own thoughts.

Kara shrugged before they went on their ways to battle and help this land regain the upper hand against the dark forces.

Two days later, Nixon stretched to loosen his tensed-up muscles.

"Thank you so much for all the help," the knights of the kingdom they are tasked to handle thanked them,.

"It is fine," Ridge waved his hand.

He also gained a lot because he found more plants that could help in his researches regarding poisons and potions.

Plus, all their training were showing itself because of how easy they are able to subjugate all the enemies they are facing.

Whether the demonic beasts or the dark forces.

The demonic beasts were subjugated by their own beasts.

This is what Hans and the rest were actually lacking.

They were wonderful wizard knights with Kara having the wood element and Hans having the water element, but they don't have inborn beasts or even accompanying beasts.

"Were there no accompanying beasts that suits you?" Ridge asked one time.

"Not that, we simply didn't wish to have one," Hans replied with a smile.

As they moved away from the kingdom, Hans turned back to watch the peaceful kingdom.

"What's wrong?" Nixon turned and noticed him looking back.

"I am just overwhelmed, to think that I got the chance to help another kingdom in subjugating the darkness alongside you guys," he replied as they go on their way.

They were the closest to Capella Kingdom that they were also the first to arrive.

They didn't only help one kingdom but two.

The others were tasked on other group of kingdoms.

Another was tasked in an Empire that has two to three kingdoms under them.

"How was it on your sides?" they asked after they met one another.

"Nothing much, the fights were tiring but not dangerous on our side," Stormie replied.

"And your side?"

"The training paid off," Nixon raised his hand and showed a V sign.

"Then shall we have a feast?" Stormie grinned to the rest and they all agreed happily.

Except for Willow, who was in deep thoughts since they arrived.

"Can I speak with you?" Willow walked over to Drake, who had arrived as well.

He nodded and the two of them left on their own.

The others didn't ask them anything while Stormie smiled knowingly.

"What is it?" he asked when they reached a restaurant.

Since they were famished anyway, eating while talking was Willow's choice.

"Actually, in the empire we've been to, a few knights have died. The dark forces were stronger and even the demonic beasts. We didn't neglect anything or else Saphira would berate us nonstop and would surely punish us even. But that, there really was a lot of them and quite stronger."

Listening to this, it was obvious that their fight is much harder than the fight Nixon's group had.

He silently listened, on their side they were able to subjugate the demonic beasts and dark forces but things are still a bit difficult. They also have casualties.

"And then I saw their loved ones crying in grief…"

She paused and looked straight in his eyes.

"I remembered Raizen, the feelings I had when he died."

Drake cleared his throat but still nodded his head.

He was not jealous of him but he still felt that he should have made his move earlier then maybe Willow wouldn't have to be hurt back then.

"Saphira was right. We don't know our time, will it be today? Tomorrow? Or even now. Watching all those people cry and remembering the emotions of the lost. I don't think I would wish to feel a greater pain."

Her eyes were filled with emotions.

Her feelings for Raizen were just blooming but her feelings for Drake was deeper and stronger.

If she were to lose him without being able to be happy with him even just for a bit.

Surely she would have a lot of regrets and she didn't want that now.

There is no point thinking more about it.

She'll just go with it.

She will accept everything and simply face all the uncertainties with him.

Drake reached out and held her hand that was on the table.

"Let's go outside."

He pulled her up and walked with her towards the terrace of the place.

Since it was still quite early, there was no one in the terrace but there was already a few within the restaurant.

The wind was cold but the heat from the sun was still warm.

Drake didn't let go of her hand and instead held it tighter.

"I already told you didn't I?" he started as they face one another.

"Our swords, my vow had been engraved on them," he continued.

'I'll Keep Living For You.'
