She Who Became King
Romy Young is considered one of the most successful women in the nation, having achieved Chief Executive status in a large tech corporation at the age of 28; and now, two years later, is projected to break record sales with their upcoming technology showcases. She is quick to seize new opportunities as they arise, and everything always seems to go her way.
That is until one evening after work, when Romy is killed in a brutal traffic incident as she is heading home.
She wakes up in a body that's definitely not her own, lying on the floor in a burning building. She is surrounded by dead people and a crying young boy, who she promptly scoops up and flees the fire with him trembling in her arms.
Romy is met with several unfamiliar frantic voices and panicked faces as soon as she escapes the disaster.
"Princess Calluna and Prince Lukas! Are the King and Queen still inside?"

“Why don’t I take the throne? I am the eldest after all, so it only makes sense,” Calluna argued, her amber eye narrowing fiercely as she glared at him.
“Princess, we can’t only have a Queen, it goes against all of our ancient traditions!” Euros’ voice finally broke a shout, his ill intent shining through for the first time.
“I never said I’d be the Queen,” she spat.
“W-what are you implying?! You’re a woman, you can’t possibly be saying–“
“Where in our traditions does it say that the King must be a man?” Calluna demanded, her voice loud and venomous.
“It- it doesn’t state it explicitly because it’s common sense, my lady!”
“Common sense my ass,” the girl retorted, her foul language earning multiple gasps from throughout the room, “if it isn’t stated explicitly, then it isn’t a part of the custom that must be followed.”
......Who knew that she’d grow attached to this little boy as if he were truly her little brother?! So much so that she’d make an impulsive decisions like that!!
