Waking up I found myself close to two things, a big stone and a big tree that was no doubt a safer place to sleep than any other one in this big forest.

Noticing that my mind was releasing some weird chemicals about being lonely without any warmth I dismiss this bitch thing and sat up to look into the mutation panel.

Honestly the choices that could be made is high but if I want to reach the apex again I should focus on something that will give me a help in surviving here.

Opening the 'Miscs' session the option found was 'Aura Core', it indeed exist however, it was not what I required right now as much better things could be of use.

One of the possible mutation choice of the 'Organs' is my eye, giving me heat sense or long range distance vision. Having mana sense I scratched that and on the same section I went find a venom gland as it would be helpful if my mana core was big enough.

I already knew that to upgrade my mana core 2 points are necessary and my mind could not wait another level since this new home of mine is dangerous to just hesitate on something.

For snakes it exists three types of poison: the first one is hemotoxic, it gives the target headcheas, nausea and mental disorientation; this type effects the cardiovascular system and can cause death from bleeding. The second variety is the cytotoxic and this one causes intense and immediate pain, can give the target kidney failure and many death occur from severe allergic reaction. And the last but not least, neurotoxic poison, effecting the respiratory and the nervous system it will paralyse the prey.

Even if the neurotoxic does not place a threat to the target at first sight, the person will be likely to have a sequelae afterwards.

Now one important thing to note is that every sort of this venoms are proteolytic, and this causes the area of where it got in for to breakdown. This can be really good in the event that I upgrade it since on high level of the proteolytic I can possible be able to desintegrate the area around the 'bite'.

Honestly I should just buy the last type to paralyze my enemies, even if the one that I want to kill is a big guy, it will have at least a little effect and this will help me in a fight.

I too found a new organ, a thing that in my last life I did not bought it, the pheromone gland. To use this it is possible to just mutate my liver to produce the charm from the bile acid and so being allowed to have snakes in my control.

Interesting however... I do not have information about the type of monsters in this forest but I will not waste this opportunity to level up myself.

With myself on the ground only moving my eyes as I kept my legs crossed the decision of getting a venom gland was made.

With the final thoughts coming in mind I told the system that I was ready.

This time the mutation did not took that much of time as the gland was not that big, after the beginning of the creation a burning sensation took part on my left cheek along two tiny tubes in direction to my human fangs.

I could understand a little of why my new part is situated on my cheek since near it, the producers of saliva subsisted.

If upgraded the other cheek will be the home of the brother of this venom gland, doubling the capacity.

At this time the weather was very sunny and wind very strong, if I was not taking this sun to my face a chill would be running all over my body because of the cold breeze.

"'Sigh'" With a heave exiting my mouth I got up and leaned my body back showing my body to the warm fire ball out there to the sky.

All the unconfortable signals my body created from the organ formation felt when using the system function were gone and now I knew it was time to hunt for my breakfast to fill the empty stomach.

I could be empty when talking about my hunger but my venom gland and mana core was full and ready to be of use to me. I really wanted to debut my new organ out here in the wilds.

If this mutation thing is the same as in my snake life, level 10 will be the change for me.

Nevermind that... let's find a prey.

This time I leaned forward and made my fangs release some liquid toxin to my hand. And using my new skill I change to a solid state from the liquid that it once was.

The format? A 2 inch thin needle. It indeed used a little of my mana but I still had enough to use some telekineses to move this spike made from poison. If this did not kill, my knife will finish the job.

Happy my walking started in the search of an animal in this forest, with mana sense I found a rabbit that had purple fur and white eyes as if he was blind.

'Is this what humans see as cute? I remember in my time one of the mythical monsters now was something like this.' It seems that the monster I am talking about was not killed as the book did not register something akin to the purple rabbit.
