WELCOME HOME DAD

Aurora went towards the door silently.

" Why is it so dark here? You told me they would be home now. Where are they?" Mr. Mariano whispered to his assistant but Aurora heard it. She whistled and all the lights were turned on again. Mr. Mariano got shocked. Even Sofia and Antonia were shocked too.

" Welcome home dad." Aurora said smiling.

Mr. Mariano chuckled, " I forgot I was trying to surprise the queen." Saying that he hugged Aurora. Aurora hugged back.

" But dad your location didn't change. Why?" Antonia asked looking confused.

" That's because I have freezed it."

" Then how did Aurora get to know uncle?"

Mr. Mariano left Aurora and went towards Sofia and Antonia. Both of them hugged him one by one. " She is the queen after all. She will know everything. You can't keep any secrets from her." He said laughing.

" He can freeze his location from his phone but not from mine. Only I can hide the location." Aurora said smirking.

"Over smart brat." Antonia said rolling her eyes. Everyone started laughing at that.

" By the way, Angel, how did you got that cut?"

Aurora sighed. Now her dad will give her a lecture too.

" I got hit during workout by a equipment."

" Try to be careful dear. What if you got a big cut?"

" She doesn't listen to anyone dad. She is becoming more and more clumsy day by day." Antonia said.

"I can see that. She is so careless."

" Dad, please stop it now. Go and get freshed. Dinner is served." Aurora said.

" Okay." Saying that Mr. Mariano went to his room.

Aurora looked at his fathers assistant and asked, "Everything fine there?"

" Yes young master. You can check if you want."

" I'll check it later. I'll go to office soon."

" Then I should take my leave now."

" Yeah you can go." That man left the mansion.

" Don't tell dad that I have cooked for him."

" Why?" Sofia asked.

" I want him to guess it."

" I have heard from Rosy that your cooking skills are just like your mother." Antonia said.

Aurora smiled at the mention of her mom and said, " Not only that. Nana always says that I resemble my mom."

Sofia started talking," I think that too. You kind of look like aunty, you cook like her, you have got her vocals.. "

" Enough enough...change the topic." Aurora stopped Sofia.

Sofia stopped at that. Antonia looked at her and gave a sad smile. Both of them knew Aurora didn't like to talk about her mom much. Because that would make her emotional. She didn't want to be emotional anymore. They kept quite. Aurora was deep in her thoughts.

" Why are you so quite suddenly? " Mr. Mariano asked.

"Nothing uncle. We are just waiting for you. Now take a seat. I'm hungry!" Sofia said.

Mr. Mariano chuckled and sat down. He started to eat but after few bites he stopped at looked at Aurora.

" You have cooked today right?" Aurora looked at him and nodded. Mr. Mariano smiled," I wanted to surprise you and I'm the one who has gotten the surprise." Antonia and Sofia smiled too.

" You didn't come back for long so I want you to have a proper meal." Mr. Mariano nodded. This is his daughter who is soft for her loved ones. This is actual Aurora. They completed their dinner.

" Aurora.." Aurora understood that her father wanted to tell something serious. Because usually he didn't call her by name.

" Yes, dad."

" Don't go to university tomorrow. You doctor uncle will come. We all need a full body check up." Aurora sighed. She knew it.

" Why do I need a check-up?" Antonia asked.

" I have said so that's why. Do you have any complain?" Mr. Mariano asked raising his one brow.

" Absolutely not." Aurora and Antonia said in unison. Sofia laughed at that and both of them gave her a glare.

" Dad, you should take rest. You had a tiring journey." Antonia said.

" Yes, uncle. You should get some sleep."

" Okay okay. I'm going now. You guys don't mess around. Go to sleep." Saying that he went to his room.

At the same time Antonia got a call. " Who is it?" Aurora asked.

" Andrew. He wants to talk about the new shipment we are getting tomorrow night."

" Tell him to come here in the morning. Dad won't allow us to go to base tomorrow."

" Okay."

" You guys are going on a mission tomorrow night?" Sofia asked.

" Not sure. Why?" Aurora asked.

" Then I'll go home in the afternoon. Mom and dad are always complaining that I have forgotten them." Sofia chuckled.

" Yeah. You should give them some time." Antonia said.

" Yeah. So are you guys going to sleep or do you have anything to do?" Sofia asked.

" Mafia related. You wanna join?" Aurora asked knowing very well that Sofia will say no.

" Suit yourself. I have to take my beauty sleep." Sofia said.

" You even overslept today. Even sleep can't bring out your beauty." Antonia said. Aurora chuckled at that.

" Yah! I'll kill you someday!"

Aurora and Antonia were now at the office.

" What are you thinking so hard?" Antonia asked.

" I think there is someone who'll try to stop our shipment."

" Who has gotten that much power?"

" It's not power. You can say it is ignorance."

" What do you mean? Who doesn't know about UNDOCILE?"

" Someone who is newly appointed from another country."

" Oh! You mean the new officer in charge. Why will he create problem with us?"

" To show us that government can bring down the mafias."

" He is too naive then. How did you get the information?" Antonia asked looking confused.

" It's not that hard Antonia. Don't ask stupid questions. We will go tomorrow to pay him a visit."

" Are you sure?"

" Yeah. The other things we will discuss with Andrew."

" Okay. Then good night."

" Good night." Saying that Aurora headed to her room.

Aurora went back to her room, did her night routine and went towards her balcony. There was mild wind blowing and she was loving it. Night, darkness these are the things she loves now. She has all the things some one will die for but somehow she always feels empty.

It is not the life she wanted for herself. She used to be a simple girl. She loved signing, cooking, doing girls things with Sofia but now she is a total different person. She has power, money, people fear her. It's not that she hates this life. She is now accustomed to it. The girl who never wanted to be a part of UNDOCILE as she couldn't stand seeing blood, fight, she couldn't be cruel, merciless killer, is now killing people almost everyday and will be head of this empire soon. How ironic! She sighed and went back to her bed to take some rest.
