PART 185

" I was severely ill when I came here. I was admitted in the hospital for four months and Aurora gave me a lot of blood. They didn't even know me but took care of me like I was their own. Then I got my sense back. They got to know about my situation. 

Dad adopted me without having any second thought. I was really afraid of them at first knowing that mafias can't be good human. What if they hurt me like others? But they made me feel at ease. They arranged my therapy so that I can speak fluently as you can hear now. Dad arranged home tutor and homeschooled me as I was afraid to go in public.

Then one day Aurora suggested me if I want to take training. I didn't agree at first. But I always had a thing for the weapons. So she told me to learn shooting and she will teach me more about weapons. I started learning and soon got interested. Then dad suggested I should take training and I can join UNDOCILE. I wasn't declared as Right hand that time. 

As the previous Right hand was an amazing fighter and his suggestions were always to the point. Dad said they will decide my position after the training.

Aurora trained me and at the declaration day every mobster of UNDOCILE lost fighting against me. Then the Right hand proposed to fight against him. I wasn't prepared for that but dad also supported and we fought.

It took a lot of effort for me to fight against him as he was so strong and tactful. But at one point he lost to me but suddenly he lost balance and fell down. He was senseless. I became afraid of the situation. He was taken to the hospital and doctor found out he had brain tumor. That's why he lost his sense. He came back in his sense and requested dad to give his place to me as no one is as well deserved as I am in his position. He gave his position to me in my ceremony and the next day he died. I cried hard that day.

But the problem arose when his wife blamed me for all of this. She divorced him way back and lived abroad with their only son. They didn't even look after him for years. But came barking at me saying I killed her husband and their son became orphan. I didn't see his son though. Dad tried to

manage. But then when she got all the money of her husband she went back happily. How hypocrite someone can be!

From them I'm accompanying Aurora in UNDOCILE as her Right hand. Do you know Aurora asked me what I want in my ceremony and I asked her that I'll call her queen and she can't scold me for that. From then only I call her queen in official work." Antonia said.

Lucas looked at Antonia. He was still in daze hearing her story. Antonia looked at him this time only to see his blank reaction.

She became more afraid thinking maybe Lucas hates her now. How will she survive with his hatred. She lowered her not being able to see his blank reaction.

" Lucas, I know you love me. About my feelings, it's mutual. I love you too. But I want you to take the decision whether you want to stay with me or not. I didn't want to let anyone come in my life for this dark past. But you have made me yarn for your love, you have warmed my heart again.

Most importantly you have made a place in my heart for yourself. That's why I have shared my every secret with you. Now you have to choose if you want to stay with me or not. I won't force you to love me. You can hate me if you want." Antonia said with a calm voice. But only she knew what storm was going in her heart. Her heart was screaming for Lucas to stay, to hold her and never leave her alone again.

" You can go away and I won't even question you why you didn't choose me. I know it's hard to stay with someone like me who was touched my uncountable men. So I won't even blame you if you leave." Antonia said.

But deep down her heart she was wishing for Lucas to stay. She was praying to God continuously. She looked at Lucas not getting any answer. Lucas was staring at her. She stared back. Slowly Lucas stood up from his position.

Antonia became confused and stood up too.

"Lucas." Antonia confusedly called but stopped in her track when she found him backing out. Her heart broke at the scene. Lucas silently went towards the door and opened it. He hurriedly went out without looking back.

Antonia fall on her knees and started crying silently lowering her head. Her heart was paining like hell.

Why didn't he say anything? Was he that much disgusted with her that he became speechless? Why did he run away like that? God! Why did you give her hope and snatch it like this? How will she survive now? Antonia kept crying and thinking about all these.

Lucas again came back with something in his hand and locked the door silently. He found Antonia on her knees crying miserably. He hurriedly went to her and scooped her in his arms.

Antonia became shocked but soon she hold him tightly and started sobbing loudly.

"Why did you leave me?" she asked hitting him again.

"I didn't baby." Lucas said softly.

" You did. You went out without saying anything. Do you know how scared I was?"

"Sorry baby. I went out to get something for you."

" I don't need anything except you Lucas. Don't go away from me. I want you closer to me always." Antonia said hiding her face in his chest.

"I'm not going anywhere anymore baby. I have said already your past won't have any effect on my love for you. My love will only increase everyday I promise you that." Lucas said kissing her forehead.

" You don't feel disgusted?" Antonia mumbled.

" You were the victim Antonia. I should feel disgusted about those nasty people who made your life living hell. All that matters to me is you. I only care about present and our future together. I'm warning you never lower yourself thinking about those cheap people. You have got your real family and me. I'll be by your side till the day I die."

Antonia looked at Lucas with teary eyes.

" I'll hold your hand and never let you go till my last breathe Lucas." She said and tears rolled down from her face. Lucas wiped her tears.

" Don't cry anymore. Smile suits you more." Lucas said kissing her eyes.

" I didn't mention one thing." Antonia said closing her eyes.
