" Surprise!" They heard 3 voice shouting together. They knew the owners of the voices. They hurriedly looked and found Mr. Mariano, Mr. and Mrs. Martin together smiling at them. Both Aurora and Sofia ran towards their dads.

" Dad!" They shouted and hugged them.

" I have missed you so much dad." Aurora said almost crying. Sofia's dad was overseas too but not long as Mr. Mariano.

" I have missed my angel too." Mr. Mariano said chuckling.

" What took you so long dad? I don't like it when you stay overseas." Aurora said pouting. Mr. Mariano sadly smiled.

" Business dear. I'll make it up to you I promise. Don't be sad."

"I'm not. Sofia and Ryan accompanied me well." Aurora said smiling.

Mr. Mariano smiled too. He was glad that his angel was not upset. Though he knew it because his daughter is more mature proportion to her age.

" So I have heard our little Aurora has a boyfriend now?" Mr. Martin asked cheekily.

Aurora felt shy and hid her face on her fathers chest. Others started laughing seeing her.

" She is head over heels for him. You should have just seen her when she is around Ryan." Sofia said rolling her eyes.

" Our girl is grown up now then?" Mrs. Martin said smiling.

"Yeah yeah. It's going to be one year soon. I can't tolerate their cheesiness anymore." Sofia again said rolling her eyes.

" Don't be overdramatic now." Aurora said giving her a side eye.

" So when will we get to meet this man for whom our little girl is whipped?" Mr. Martin said smiling.

" You want to meet him uncle?" Aurora asked.

" Yeah. Why not?" Mr. Martin said.

" He is right. Ask him to come home. I should see my daughters boyfriend."

" But dad what if he is afraid?" Aurora asked timidly.

" Dear he has to meet your dad someday right? Why not from now? They should build up a good relation too." Mrs. Martin said. Aurora nodded understanding the matter.

" He is going to come today anyways. So why don't we stay home today?" Sofia said excitedly.

" Why? Do you guys have any plan today?" Mr. Mariano asked.

" We had. But now I want to spend my time with you dad. I'll calk him and cancel todays plan.", Aurora said hugging her dad tightly.

" Let him come here. We can all meet him then." Mr. Martin said.

" I should tell him right? What if he feels nervous suddenly meeting you guys?" Aurora asked nervously.

Mr. Mariano didn't like his daughter being this nervous and timid for her own boyfriend. She should remain confident about him. But why did she look this nervous? He thought of asking her later.

" Come on Aurora. Our parents are not some zombies that he will get afraid. He is a mature grown ass man." Sofia said with irritation.

" What if he becomes upset again Sofia?" Aurora asked breaking the hug and looking down.

Mr. Mariano furrowed his brows seeing his daughters vulnerable condition. Sofia this time looked at Mr. Mariano helplessly.

" Is there everything okay angel?" Mr. Mariano asked with concern.

Aurora looked up to him and tried to smile. " Nothing serious dad. He became little afraid and was upset after knowing my real identity. Everything is fine now."

" Then it won't be a problem if he meets us today. Let him come. We all can have dinner together." Mr. Mariano said. Aurora nodded.

" Both of you should go and get freshed." Mrs. Martin said.

" Yeah we are going." Sofia said and both of them went to their rooms.

" I don't like how timid she was being buddy." Mr. Martin said looking at Mr. Mariano.

" Yeah. She has always been treated like a princess. How can we trust her with a boy who is making her this much nervous?" Mrs. Martin said with concern.

" I have keep an eye on that boy. Let me meet him today. No one can make my daughter insecure. No one is allowed to do so." Mr. Mariano said coldly.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin nodded.

" I should go and help Rosy to prepare the dinner. You both should take some rest." Mrs. Martin said.

" Yeah. I'm tired for the long flight." Mr. Mariano said.

" Me too." Mr. Martin said.

Then they went towards their rooms to take some rest. Mrs. Martin went to the kitchen.

The day went by..

Ryan came and got the surprise that Auroras dad has returned. He was really afraid of getting caught but tried to act as natural as possible. Mr. Mariano understood that he was nervous so he didn't push him further as Aurora would be sad.

The dinner went well. Ryan bade goodbye. But that boys attitude didn't set well in Mr. Marianos mind. Something was fishy.

Sofia and her family decided to stay the night. It was late night. Everyone was sleeping but Mr. Mariano was in the office going through some papers. Someone knocked on the door. Mr. Mariano furrowed furrowed his brows thinking who would come this late.

" Come in." He said.

" Did I disturb you uncle?" Sofia asked with concern.

" Sofia? No dear. Come here. Why are you still awake?"

" I need to tell you something. I couldn't say this things in front of Aurora. So I have waited for night."

" What is it dear?" Mr. Mariano asked furrowing his brows.

" It's about Ryan. Haven't you found that boy weird?" Sofia asked.

Mr. Mariano chuckled. " Why do you think he is weird? He seems really nice and Aurora looks really happy with him. He likes her, doesn't he?"

" I doubt that uncle. Aurora didn't tell you. I wanted but she stopped me too saying that you are busy so she didn't want to put more stress on you."

" What didn't she tell me?"

" After knowing your identity Ryan ghosted Aurora for 3 weeks uncle! Aurora was miserable at that time. She literally begged Ryan to speak to her but he totally ignored her. Suddenly after three weeks when Aurora again confronted him, he acted like the victim. He told her how poor he was, he couldn't afford Auroras lifestyle, how mafia related things could harm his family etc. etc. But when Aurora assured him that you would not do any harm rather you would protect his family he was fully convinced. Don't you find it fishy? Moreover he has huge problem with Aurora having guards. He often complain Aurora that guards make him uncomfortable and he wants to go in dates just the two of them. I have gone with them in every dates. He doesn't really complain about me that much only few times though then why the guards? They don't even meddle in our business. They always maintain a safe distance."

Mr. Mariano kept quite for a long time. Sofia sat down on a near couch to hear what Mr. Mariano was going to say.
