" You wanted her to be your heir when you saw I was not capable of completing that area right?"

Aurora said shouting.

" I have never thought you weak dear." Mr. Mariano said trying to hold Auroras hand.

" Don't lie!" Aurora said aggressively going away from her had.

" Angel!" Mr. Mariano called her. But she didn't respond.

" I am going to her." saying that Charlie ran behind her.

" She misunderstood me." Mr. Mariano said crying. Antonia hugged him.

" Let her cool down dad. I have told you. You have triggered her. She will be okay. Don't cry please."

Mr. Mariano hugged her back.

" I have never thought her a weak person Antonia. Why did she misunderstand her father. I have never prioritize anyone over her. Why after all these years my own daughter has doubts on me?" Mr. Mariano sat on the floor crying loudly.

Antonia sat down while hugging him.

" Everything will be fine dad. She will come around. You know her complicated mind. After thinking properly she will understand. Please don't cry. My heart is breaking seeing both of you like this."

Mr. Mariano kept crying in Antonia's embrace. He was devastated. He has hurt his angel. He has mentally hurt her after all these years protecting her. He has stabbed her heart and again opened those wounds after all these years. What a terrible dad he is! He kept thinking all these while crying.

Aurora was about to hop on her car. She can't stay here. She doesn't know where she will go now. But she has to stay away from her family for the time being.

" Princess!" Charlie called her. Aurora looked back and found Charlie running towards her.

" I don't want to talk now please."

" Where are you going. Please just say that."

" I don't know. I need to get out from here. I can't stay here for the time being."

" Can I go with you?"

" I want to stay alone Charlie. Stay here. You will be safe here."

" I will be safe wherever you are princess. Please let me go with you. Let's go to my apartment. I'll not disturb you."

" I won't be at home all the day to protect you Charlie and I can't take you everywhere I go. Stay here. Let me go. I need to stay alone." saying that Aurora was about to hop on her car again but Charlie hold her hand and pulled her closer. He circled his hands around her waist and pulled her more closer.

" What are you doing?" Aurora said looking around. She saw how the guards were looking at them like that have seen some ghost. Well understandable. They have never seen their leader this much closer to any boy.

" Just listen to me princess. I know you are capable enough to take care of yourself. But I want you to be in a proper place where my heart will be at ease. Here is the key of my apartment." Charlie said handing her the key.

" Why are you giving me this?"

" Stay in my apartment as long as you want. The grocery is full there. It won't be a problem for you to cook. I'll be at peace of you stay there. Please princess?"

" But..."

" Princess another request. Please pick up my calls. I don't feel good when we don't stay in touch. Please keep these two requests?"

" Let me go first. I'll think about it then."

" Nope. Say you will keep my requests or else I'm not letting you go." Charlie said hugging her.

" Okay okay. I'll stay at your place. Now let me go."

Charlie broke the hug but still kept her in his arms." Be safe. I'll miss you." Charlie said looking at her.

" Do the training properly. I will double your schedule if I find out you are lacking."

Charlie chuckled and kissed her forehead. Aurora closed her eyes but didn't say anything. She felt at peace somehow.

" I have to go. I'm feeling horrible here." Aurora said moving away from him. She looked around only to find maids and guards gawking at them.

" What? Don't you have works to do? Go back to your work." Aurora shouted. They hurriedly went back to their work. Charlie chuckled seeing that. Aurora hopped on the car.

" Drive safely. I'll call you later. Don't forget to keep me updated princess."

" I'll. Bye. Stay safe all of you." saying that Aurora drove away from the mansion and headed towards Charlies apartment.
