Bruno's last trial

Bruno rode into Joseng kingdom sweating so profusely with great fear in his eyes. He arrived at the Kingmaker's house. The kingmaker invited all the royal cabinet members to his house. They were celebrating for making progress. The kingmaker disclosed the news of Bruno's mission to them. They were all happy after hearing it thinking that it was going to be successfully accomplished, so they celebrated.

The celebration was abrupted immediately Bruno ran into the building and sat down hyperventilating. All men feared. None could go closer to him. "What happened Bruno?" The kingmaker asked from where he stood. "I need a strong wine!" Bruno screamed. The screaming aroused more fear in them. A bottle was thrown out to the spot he sat. Be drank like someone who hasn't taken any liquor for years. The royal cabinet members murmured among themselves as they looked at him. "Can you explain what happened out there to us?" A royal cabinet member asked with a calm voice. After few moments, Bruno explained his encounter with the witch. "She said this is the last chance she is offering me" Bruno continued.

"What about your men?" The kingmaker asked . Bruno didn't reply immediately. He stood up and went out. "I left them behind" he then replied as he climbed his horse and rode off.

The kingmaker and the royal cabinet members couldn't continue with their celebration any longer. " So, this old witch is responsible for the king's protection all this while" a cabinet member said aloud.

Every one murmured. "What should be done now" another asked. None had any suggestion. The kingmaker sat away and thought while the cabinet members were discussing about what could be the next move. "Enough of the noise" the kingmaker yelled at them. They comported themselves and sat down to hear what the kingmaker has to say. " The King and wife seemed very peaceful" the kingmaker said nodding his head. "What does that have to do with helping the matter on ground?" A cabinet member inquired softly.

"Bringing disorganization between them will help in bringing the king down" the kingmaker explained to the cabinet members. "How do we intend to achieve that?" A member asked looking so curious. "Leave that to me" the kingmaker said chuckling as he stood up and left their presence. They all wondered what he is planning to do.

King Leo requested for Bruno's presence earlier. Other palace guard search around the entire palace they couldn't find him. "Here he comes" a guard shouted pointing at the horse carrying a body lying on it. He fell asleep as he arrived the palace gate because he had too much of the strong wine. The King and Kim came out as soon as they heard he is back. " He had some much strong wine and his drunk my Lord" a guard said to king Leo. "What's really happening?" The king asked a random question. " Confusion ran through their minds. "Gather swordsmen who will guide the Queen from now onwards" king Leo ordered Kim. They went back to the palace afterwards.
