[KAWAI]

"I don't have a…"

"I know," Tamiko said with a soft smile.

"What?"

"It won't make me love you any less, Kosta."

"But… how… since when?"

"I always had my suspicions but when you bit me at the ball and a thick caramel scent hit my nose, I knew you were special."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hide it from you," Kosta said earnestly, the regret in his voice so obvious that it pulled at Tamiko's heartstrings. Tamiko loved his Erasthai and nothing would ever change that.

"If I come closer, do you promise to not run?" Tamiko asked as he stared at the uncertainty in Kosta's eyes.

As someone who had been used to running from his problems, Tamiko could see the signs in anyone. It was like it was in his system and he was trying his very best not to make Kosta apprehensive.

"Can I run into your arms then?" Kosta whispered and Tamiko's eyes brightened like he had just been given a new breath of life. He had been worried that Kosta would portal away, but then he didn't mind if Kosta was to portal into his arms.

He was, after all, home to Kosta.

"Always, my precious… Always," Tamiko said as he sat up on the bed and opened his arms wide for his Kosta to run into. Oh, this man was beautiful and there was nothing that could make him despite or run away from Kosta ever.

"Do you still want to—"

"If you let me, I'd be honored," Tamiko said and Kosta chuckled softly, breaking the tension. He had never thought this day would come so soon, but then he had no objections, after all, he had always wanted this.

Kosta stared at his Erasthai on the bed, his arms wide open waiting for the chief to find his place there. It was almost like a dream come true for him. Love was something that scared the hell out of him over the years for that one reason.

He had mastered the art of pushing people away, the art of being the worst in the realm because if he was the worst barbarian and a walking red flag, people would be too scared of him to even try and get closer. All that had worked so well for him.

However, when he had marked Tamiko three weeks ago, he knew that his cover would soon be blown. The reputation he had created to protect himself would mean nothing and he would be laid bare for attacks.

But maybe, just maybe, with Tamiko, he didn't have to hide.

So, holding Tamiko's gaze, Kosta undid the sash on the robe he was currently wearing. He wasn't sure what would happen today, but this was the last of things he had expected. Perhaps he just had to get used to it?

"Kosta… no pressure," Tamiko forced out, though his arousal thickened with every move the damn robe made, got him wanting to close the distance between his Erasthai and him.

There were about two feet between them and he was sure just one leap could close it, but he had to be patient.

"I—"

"Fuck… your caramel scent is so inviting," Tamiko strained out when the shash fell.

"I'm… sorry?" Kosta whispered, unsure of what he was to say about that. He was a nervous wreck and if he was being honest, running away sure seemed like the best option. Kosta was scared Tamiko wouldn't like what he saw and would never mark him.

Maybe it was his Lycan doubting all of this, but then he couldn't be blamed. Tamiko had wanted to leave earlier anyway. There was no telling that he wouldn't leave even after this. Besides, Kosta didn't see himself as someone who could be home to another.

"No… Don't do that," Tamiko said softly when he caught a whiff of bitter caramel.

"I'm s—"

"And don't apologize too, my precious," Tamiko added as he got off the bed and walked over to where Kosta was standing. He knew this wasn't easy for the Lycan chief.

"You're mine, Kosta. Within and beyond these walls, you're mine. Whether you're like everyone else or different, you are mine. I won't love you any less, and no, I might be a runner but I'm not that stupid to run away from perfection like you.

"If I leave Kawai, it won't be because I don't want you, my precious," Tamiko said as he lifted the Lycan chief's chin that was lowered.

He never wanted his Erasthai to doubt himself no matter what happened along the way. Kosta was his lifeline and Tamiko would be damned if he lost that. He would fight for him, if he had to, and he could only hope that Kosta knew that too.

"But—"

"Let me see you, my precious," Tamiko interrupted. "Please," he added.

"Fuck, you smell so divine," Tamiko growled lowly, gently pushing the robe off of Kosta, so his erasthai was standing there in all his glory and bare for Tamiko to see. If there was something Tamiko wanted to say, it was lost in the lust in his eyes.

"I have never seen someone so beautiful," the young prince whispered huskily as he took a step back to let his eyes rake over Kostas's body. He didn't lie though; Igor Konstantin was beautiful beneath the walls he had created for himself.

"Yo… You like it?" Kosta whimpered slowly as he tried to look everywhere but at Tamiko, however, he wasn't able to, because the feeling of Tamiko's eyes on him made him want to give the young prince a show, but at the same time, he was scared.

"Like it? Baby, I would go to war for you," Tamiko said earnestly as he licked his lips.

Anyone would have felt suffocated by his eyes like that, but Kosta was excited and Tamiko could smell his caramel scent thickening even more. It was calling to Tamiko and the prince was trying to be patient, though for how long?

"Kosta… You're perfect, my precious... Fuck, I'm losing my mind staring at you like this," Tamiko growled as he held Kosta's hand in his, gently kissing up the chief's arm, like the chief was the most delicate thing in his life and he couldn't afford to ruin him.

"Nghh," Kosta let out, his eyes shutting in the process, when he felt Tamiko kiss his neck, right where the prince was bound to mark him when they were both ready. Kosta was patient, but he wasn't sure Tamiko was that patient, especially with the way he was kissing Kosta's neck.

"Tell me you don't want this, Kosta," Tamiko breathed on Kosta's neck, while his hand trailed the Lycan chief's body.

"I…"

"Stop me, my precious, please," Tamiko pleaded with his erasthai, even as his hand found its way down to Kosta's groin, and drew circles right above the chief's clit.

The chief was his to love, to worship, to fight for, and to fuck senseless that he wouldn't be able to walk for days and weeks. Tamiko was high on desire, but even then, he was rational enough to ask for consent.

"What if… What if I don't want you to stop?"

"Wh–" Tamiko pulled back just enough to stare into his ears that's inviting eyes.

"I want this, my soul," Kosta breathed and Tamiko let out a low feral growl in response as his eyes turned dark with desire.
