One month into the Edo Civil War a deadly chemical, named Asura’s Breath, was spread throughout northern Japan killing nearly 15 million people, wiping out the entire Nue Faction but one person. A 17-year-old samurai named Usui. He spends the following 3 years surviving even though he isn’t sure he deserves to be alive. Struggling with depression and his sanity he desperately searches for another human being. Luckily, he finds a companion that saves his life in more ways than one. Usui also stumbles upon another person walking around, but it isn’t the humanity he was searching for. What did that chemical do to everyone? Now with a goal in mind, Usui and his new companion know what they must do. Can Usui beat the monsters that stand in front of him as well as the demons lurking in his heart?
