Basically 3 months ago I posted a hiatus announcement in the face of the storm that is called exams. Thankfully I survived (with borderline grades haha) and decided to continue this brain-matter-consuming novel. The thing is that in my hiatus announcement I also included a bunch of spoilers, and according to my friend it somehow made my highly convoluted novel clearer.

Which is why I'll be including the spoilers here for those interested.

Jiang Shiqin was originally the main protagonist of a harem novel in which he charmed both men and women and eventually became the ultimate ruler in the shadows. This is considered the first life. In the second life, which is the settings of Veiled Storm, Jiang Shiqin is a modern girl who transmigated without any knowledge of the novel and Prince Qing is a reincarnated character. Prince Qing, who is aware of the destruction caused by Jiang Shiqin and his harem in the last life, schemed against the Jiang Shiqin in this life. It was successful, partially the person in this body is not the original Jiang Shiqin, a person capable enough to become the ruler in the shadows, but merely an inexperienced girl from a modern society. Veiled Storm took off following this event where the girl in Jiang Shiqin's body joined force with another prince to take revenge.
