23 A Father's Rage

For as long as he could remember, Orion didn't take those words from his parents seriously. They were dead for centuries after all. He didn't even remember feeling sad or even anything when they passed on. He thought of them as people who only knew how to see his flaws and none of his strength, taking whatever they told him as nothing more than empty words.

Now...he was starting to believe that maybe they were right.

Vansel was moving an a speed he could barely see, for the first time ever in his life he was struggling to keep up with someone. Orion fired his shotgun rapidly, his bullets ripping through entire trees and shredding through nearby structures of the town, hoping to hit Vansel who appeared right behind him, landing a painful punch that struck Orion in the back, pummeling him into the ground.
