Chapter 25
After class that day, Scarlet walked down the cobblestone leading to the bleachers. It was the hour for various social activities and though she already registered to be part of the cheerleaders team with Melanie few weeks back, she did not feel the need to go. She knows she would be replaced with someone else willing to be a part of the team, but she did not care. She did not join willingly in the first place, it was Melanie's persuasiveness that made her do it, but now, what was the use?
She walked down the steps and went to take her seat at a side where no one is or would be interested in sitting. From her other side, she could already see few students, mostly girls, sitting in pairs and laughing at something the other said.
